Ca' della Scimmia - Rialto Bridge, Venice

Our stay at Ca’ della Scimmia was truly special. From the very first moment, we were welcomed in such a warm and personal way, with a spritz for each of us, and because it was New Year’s, we were also treated to a full bottle of prosecco and three wonderful little cakes. These gestures didn’t feel like a formality, but like genuine hospitality. The room was surprisingly spacious for Venice and cared for down to the smallest detail, spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped for an easy longer stay. We stayed five nights, and even during our visit the room was cleaned again, a small detail that perfectly reflects how thoughtfully Andrea and her husband look after their guests. This is the kind of place where you don’t just sleep well, you truly feel welcome. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We booked through Booking.com, but since we didn't realize that reviews could only be submitted up to the 28th after check-out, we decided to post one here. We stayed at this apartment for five nights and six days from June 27th to July 2nd during our 120-day trip around the world. In conclusion, this apartment was the best of the best, having stayed in hotels all over the world. Above all, it was clean, with a comfortable bed and kitchen. As other commenters have said, the facilities were simply comfortable. We stayed in many luxury hotels during this trip, but this one far surpassed them all. The owner was extremely kind, not only providing us with a thorough tourist guide, but even sending us a video in advance showing us how to get from Santa Lucia Station to the apartment without any steps, even though we had a lot of luggage. The apartment's history, including the origins of the street it's on and its history as a monastery boarding house, sparked our imaginations. We hope to visit Venice again soon and stay here again. I wish it didn't become too famous, because I'm afraid I won't be able to get a reservation. This apartment is so wonderful. Thank you Andrea. I hope to see you again.

Fabulous apartments in the heart of Venice, you really can’t get a better location. The apartment we had was amazing, fitted out to a high specification with everything you need including a washing machine and good kitchenette and even a spritz kit with all ingredients. The front desk very polite, friendly and helpful and gave loads of tips and a great guide book of Venice. Highly recommended and won’t disappoint.

The location is superb and the apartment beautifully furnished and spacious. The neighbourhood is safe with wonderful cafes and trattorias on the doorstep. The vaporetto stop is only a minute away. |Andrea who manages the apartments was most helpful, providing assistance on private airport transfers as well as recommendations for places to enjoy nearby. Would throughly recommend.

The units are nice and modern and the front desk staff are really great and friendly. However the management and housekeeper in the unit are dishonest and tried to hustle us for more money after we checked out. They schemed and took photos of our personal possessions scattered in the apartment and sent in the photos to Airbnb in order to file a 500 euro claim. This is not only a violation of privacy but dishonest practice. FYI the location is very touristy and can be loud at night with some sketchy characters screaming outside. Pros: there is an elevator in the building which is convenient for luggage

This apartment is just perfect it deserves a 6! The pictures just don't do it justice. It's so well appointed and the little touches are fantastic. Beautiful wooden ceilings and white cabinets to compliment it.||Other Examples: Washing Machine / Dishwasher / Blackout Blinds / Strong Air Con / Huge Safe and High End Toiletries.||The location is just fantastic within a stone's throw of the busiest water bus / vaporetto stop 'Rialto'.||Last what makes a place stand out is the human element. The lady that checked us in was just so kind and welcoming. My two young kids also said she's so nice! Perfect comms and excellent recommendations too.||If I had to find some fault with the place, just to be balanced, and I'm seriously being pedantic, maybe a bigger TV but then again are you going to be in Venice to watch TV?||If I ever come back to Venice, this is a definite gem of an apartment, it's absolutely perfect.

I had an experience that was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Andrea, a true professional, who made us feel right at home. The rooms we stayed in were extraordinary. Spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, they were the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the high-quality linens contributed to a restful sleep. I also greatly appreciated the facilities, such as the well-stocked mini-bar… moreover, we had a wonderful surprise when our host gifted us two bottles of Prosecco, which I savoured together with my friends. The bathrooms were very clean, equipped with toiletry products. The hotel's location is excellent! Very close to the Rialto Bridge, we were able to explore the city on foot without needing any transportation. Additionally, Andrea provided us with plenty of useful information about places to visit and restaurants in the area. I highly recommend Ca' della Scimmia - Rialto Bridge to anyone looking for a quality accommodation experience. I will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

We had a two bedroom apartment on the top floor. Totally different from our last stay in another Venice hotel, Andrea’s apartment has lift, it’s clean, with great view and the most important thing is - great service!!! Andrea is a great host, she is always willing to help. We are very lucky to make the correct choice. Next time we plan to stay here again! Ciao Andrea
