Certainly the best paella I’ve ever had in my life at this traditional Valencian cuisine. We were brought here by some locals and without a doubt the chose the right place. In my opinion everything was delicious (cheese assortment, alioli, calamari, paella, desserts) except for the ham which lacked some taste.

Me and my boyfriend found this gem by chance, we didn't book but staff made room for us. Staff are amazing! Our waitress tried her best to speak English (because my Spanish is terrible haha) and helped recommend the most authentic dishes. she was absolutely fantastic. The decor inside is absolutely beautiful and omg the food out of this world!! So reasonable for the high quality of the food, in the UK a restaurant of this high quality would be so so expensive. The family atmosphere is lovely and you can taste every aspect of the love in this place in the wonderful food.

The mis is en place in every department. From ingredient to plate to service, nothing is missed. The cooking’s so good, there’s no cheffy mucking about, it’s the produce that shines. The service is warm and full of aplomb. Wine list, an obsessional piece of work. Best of a few meals in Valencia.

Amazing carabinero rice! Biggest and juiciest prawns I’ve ever had. The stir fried mantis shrimp was also really good. The same family has run the restaurant for over 100 years and it’s amazing to see how much the owners care about executing simple traditional dishes well.

This is a remarkable restaurant, it’s where Valencians with a refined palate eat Paella. It has an old world feel due to its wonderful personable service. I highly recommend Ca-Pepico. Cheers!

Beautiful restaurant inside a traditional high ceiling 'mesia' in the middle of La Huerta (Valencia fertile fruit and vegetable area). The decor is light and bright and the restaurant offers an inner courtyard family table and numerous cosy corners. The traditional meal here is paella but we ate a vegan fideua with delicious vegan appetisers such as salmorejo, courgette flowers and local tomato salad. We finished with a wonderful mix of wild and fresh strawberries deluged in orange juice. The whole menu is based on the Mediterranean Diet and everything is freshly and superbly cooked.
