I stayed at Ca’ Sagredo during my trip to Venice, and it was an incredible experience. The hotel is a stunning example of Venetian history and Renaissance design, with beautifully preserved details that make it feel like you’re stepping back in time. My room was spacious, accessible, and had the most gorgeous antique bed with a gilded headboard—truly a dream for anyone who loves historical interiors.
The lobby was equally breathtaking, with mannequins dressed in Venetian carnival costumes, adding to the atmosphere. There were even opportunities for hair, makeup, and costume rentals, which would be perfect for anyone visiting during Carnival. The location was also ideal—right by the Vaporetto stop, making it easy to get around the city.
The staff were lovely and helpful, and the hotel had good accessibility features, which I really appreciated. However, a few things could have been improved. The mini-bar wasn’t inclusive, which would have been fine if there had been a menu listing the prices, but instead, you were just charged at the end of your stay. Breakfast was another disappointment—at €44, I expected something more than a standard continental spread.
Overall, the beauty and history of the hotel outweighed the minor inconveniences, and I would still highly recommend it for anyone looking for an authentic Venetian experience in a truly spectacular setting.
