Having just ate and running into some of my colleagues I ended up coming here with them. As one reviewer said, this is the pool side bar at the Dolphin. It sits next to the rectangular pool and has some nice views.
Since this is an outside restaurant all seating is outdoors, albeit covered. That means you are shaded from the hot sun and still get to enjoy the breeze. From what I could tell this area also provided drinks to the people around the pools. Service is fast, as the menu is small.
Like I said, I had already eaten so when I came here I wasn't in need of a full meal, but since I was with my colleagues I needed something in front of me so I wouldn't stare at their food while they ate. I also needed a libation, that is for sure.
After looking over the menu I just went with an order of the waffle fries and a good old margarita. What I like about the way this place functioned was that their plates were designed to connect to one another. So if you got a dish that was multiple items the larger plate would be the main focus and the side dishes would be the smaller dishes that would connect. It is more plates on the table, but the way the connected it didn't take up any more room than a regular plate in front of you.
My waffle fries were nothing more than what you would get anywhere else. Dipping them in ketchup was ideal. My margarita hit the spot, however, I would have wanted it to be of a bigger size instead of what looked like a sippy cup that you would give to a kid.
