What a great place! I have stayed in the bungalow with a bedroom and a separate living room just for me. Everything was available in the kitchen: you can live here without any lack! Nice bedroom and a good bathroom. Wifi is also OK but the view is so marvellous from your private terrace just in front of the Pacific. You can stay hours just watching the huge waves and the fishermen going to the neighbouring harbour. It is a very quiet place a little bit apart of Hanga Roa, far from the trafic and night life but that was my goal. |Very friendly staff (Mariana, Jimena) and a friendly welcome with a flower collar at the airport. Drive you again at the airport for a sad return...Many helps and you can even buy your drinking water without going to the city. Everything possible by feet.|I will be back HERE with wife and kids!

Location fantastic but the kitchen and bathroom, along with the hostel bedroom is basic. It's good value for the island, it is an iconic place to visit.

Hostel has a mix of rooms from shared dorm to private bungalows. We had the bungalow and what a sea view, although no access to a beach. But that’s typical for the island. Rooms could do with a lick of paint, but overall good value and most everything can be forgiven just for the view. The owner is lovely and helpful speaking some English. Only downside is the walk to town which takes 10-15 minutes. Take a torch as no lightning at night. Would recommend and book there again.

What a beautiful stay I had at Tojika, the owner is a beautiful person, hard worker and really takes care that her customers are having the time of their life. And I had. The hostal is clean, the porch is amazing with an open view to the sea. Great kitchen facilities, and because of the welcoming environment very easy to make friends that you can make the tours with. If you are there book tours with Patricio. He is very skilled, has great knowledge of the culture and Island.

Stayed in the 5-bed dorm room from where you can see the coast while cooking/eating and hear the waves while sleeping. The dorm comes with its own kitchen and two bathrooms. All the beds are single beds and most of them have an individual outlet and storage space. There is no breakfast, but there tends to be a plate with fresh local fruit around. From and to the airport there is a free shuttle service. The walk to the center (Hanga Roa) is about 15 minutes along the coast. In front of the Hostel is a viewing point from where you can watch sunsets and even enjoy some stargazing at night.

The location is right on the shore we had the wonderful sound of waves breaking to lull us to sleep. 10 minute walk to centre of town and restaurants. Jimena the owner was one of the kindest ladies we have ever encountered. Overall we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to highly recommend it to others,

We rented 2 bedrooms unit, equipped with full kitchen. It has the best location, next to Nayara Hangaroa hotel. We got ocean view facing west for sunset view. Jimena is super nice. 10 minutes walk from main street and great restaurants. Highly recommended.

The view, location, and value for money were excellent, but if I have to highlight one thing it would be the atmosphere and energy of the place because of the people who work there, you are at home. Jimena, the owner, is someone very special and I learned a lot from her, about the Rapa Nui culture and life in general. Jimena also facilitates a total immersion experience at the most competitive prices with the people she works with; I can highly recommend an island tour with Patricio and a relaxing/healing massage with Jenny.
