I am hesitant to share this information with everyone because I don't want it to be sold out the next time we try and stay here. :) My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Villa Panil- it truly made our trip to Bariloche. In fact, we extended our stay by 3 nights. The lake and mountain views will take your breath away. Waking up in the morning to those views was a true treat. It's well located on the Circuito Chico, but I would recommend you rent a car because it's pretty far from the bus stop. However, if a car is not an option, the owner is nice enough to drop you off and pick you up from the bus stop when needed. The amenities are basic, as you would expect at a lakeside cabin, but the cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast and dinner every night and we had everything we needed to do so. Very clean. The owner is also a fly fishing guide who grew up in the area, so it's a one stop shop if you're looking for a great fly fishing experience AND wonderful accommodations. We can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed there for several nights. The view is outstanding + there's direct access to a small "beach" on the lake. The cabins are cosy and warm, each with a great view. They are situated on a relatively steep mountainside so if you're in the highest unit like we were you have to schelp up and down. Owner is helpful and friendly.

The place where the cabañas are located is magical, and the view is breathtaking. ||There's a lake and the cabin is just a few feet from it. At night, we could hear the water and fall asleep to that sound. A very peaceful place.||The cabin itself is ok. There were some things that can be easily improved, and we felt it was less than ideal.||The bed in the main bedroom is tilted, so your head is lower than your feet. We solved it by placing the pillows in the other end, but they would fall down easily and also, after a few hours of sleep, your body moves slightly to to the lower end, making it hard to stretch your legs. ||Also, the parking is about 200 meters form the cabin, uphill. I had to go get stuff in the middle of the night... not fun.||Getting to the cabin is also difficult, as you have to drive through dirt streets with no signs. We had to call the owner when we arrived because didn't know if we were lost.

Do you wish to find a spot where the condors fly overhead, bracing the mountains surrounding the Andes, all along you are watching a unique flock of birds hovering around your secluded yet reachable cabin? Well, we found it, Villa Panil, and its owners Horatio and Carolina, provde these enchanting cabins. Our cabin directly infront of Lake Moreno, where trout fishing and exotic bird watching is a daily occurance. Our children, 3 year old twins are sharing this experience by enjoying nature as nature calls, not with artificial or assimulated constructions of what we assume nature is. They play on the beach below, and collect pine cones and fallen wooden structures to create individual and very creative master pieces of art work. And sipping on a gin tonic when the sun sets over the mountains, all along while hearing the laughter of children and enhaling the fresh air and landscapes, who can ask for more. Just come and see for yourself and allow yourself to indulge in what Bariloche has to offer.

It's hard to describe in words how beautiful this place is. For someone who likes peace and tranquility this is certainly the best place to go in Bariloche, I don't know how some place could be better than this.||||Amazing views, excellently well equipped cabin and extremely helpful staff (helping me get the car out of snow twice!!) and giving directions and tips about the best places to go.||||It's a little far from the city center so renting a car is a must when staying here. Actually, having the mobility of a car in Bariloche is a completely different trip, i'd recommend renting anyway.||||We've had some problems finding the entrance since was late night and wasn't using a GPS. You only have to be alert on the left side (coming from city center) of the road (Circuito Chico, KM 20) for the sign.

This place is truly a dream. Just removed enough from the Centro to be completely calm and isolated, yet a short drive from all the amenities Bariloche has to offer. Horacio and Carolina are truly magnificent and as kind and welcoming as your own family. Horacio is also a maestro fisherman and a fantastic teacher. I can't wait until the next time I'm so lucky to visit again.

Excellent place to spend a week or more immersed in nature. A few minutes from Colonia Suiza and not a long way from Bariloche. The houses are well equipped, each of them has a barbecue. There are alarms in each house. The service is great, they can clean up every day. Carolina, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is available. There is a lot of green, and direct access to the lake. Downside: access to the area is only possible with a non-asphalted road, with high risk of damaging cars, especially if they are low.
