Everyone is very friendly. The waffles are to die for, fresh fruit, local honey, and whip cream. YUM! The coffee is amazingly creaming, perfect temperature, and texture. Not overly hot, like most American coffees. The oatmeal was fresh, just sweet enough, and very filling!

We are from Canada and this is definitely one of the best places to eat breakfast and lunch. The coffee is incredible and they give you a massive cup...unlike most of the other places here in Cabarete. The air conditioning is also wonderful lol. Great vibe and friendly staff. A percentage of their profits go to the Mariposa foundation which creates a model that can be adopted around the world for a holistic girls' education and empowerment program to end generational poverty. Love this place ❤️🙏

I came here for a cappuccino because it had good reviews. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was served in quiet big cup and tasted like milk only with no foam so it was more like late. I also ordered chocolate croissant but it was not fresh at all. It tasted like it was few days old. Totally not eatable ! So I spent 380 pesos ($7) for nothing. For this price I would expect better quality.

The food was quite alright but unfortunately not all of the staff was nice. We were charged for wrong things (but later on got the money back) or got double charged for the raspberries on the oatmeal, although we didn't ask for more or double portion of them. With the oatmeal we only got honey and they didn't give us cinnamon or the maple syrup (as stated in the menu) nor did they ask which of these 3 we wanted.

First I want to say that the service from the girls and the food are both excellent here. And the fact they support the local girl's school and try to give them better opportunities in life is really great. We came here many times last year and will continue to come here this year. We try and leave a generous tip. So it really pains me to have to say this. I just want people to be aware. I am in no way bashing the food or service. But I have yet to experience the extreme "gringo" pricing as I did here. Last week I was not paying close attention and got nixed for an extra $10 u.s ,when paying in American dollars. The total was 1300 pesos ,equivalent to $22 u.s on that day. When the young lady did the conversion she charged me $32 u.s. So we went back today and I checked the conversion as we got our food. The total was 1120 pesos or $18.22 u.s. The same young lady did her conversion and asked for $23.50 u.s. All the above included taxes etc. I did not miss anything. So now I will only pay in pesos at the coffee house. I also wonder where all this American $$ is going, that is being skimmed off the top. I also know there is a lot of "gringo" pricing going on in the Dominican. An American dollar here and an American dollar there I can except, but not this. Pay in pesos folks. A concerned Canadian.

Best coffee I've had all trip! Food was delicious and well priced compared to the other places we've been. Service was quick and friendly! This may be the only restaurant we plan on visiting more than once on our vacation. Highly recommend the ham panini croissant and surfers supreme ❤️

Coffee on a Mission! My total go to roadside cafe while visiting Cabarete. Always delicious and fresh food served with a smile. Coffee & food that is good to taste, good for the earth & good for the people who grow it! Love their croissants, avocado toast and tuna salad to name a few. 6 stars in my book!

I came here almost every single morning during my study abroad trip. The surfer supreme is AMAZING—fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, and more. The staff is so friendly. I can’t wait to come back!
