Cabinas Eddy B&B

The owners are very chill, and the location is very good. Rooms were decent with a nice view. Breakfast was fine, though they do give a generous amount of fruit which is a plus. The doggo and the cat were always a great welcoming every day/night.

Eddy is so helpful! He answered so many of our questions, made reservations for us, called taxis, etc. When we had to leave before the breakfast hours, he and his mom provided a quick bite for us. Their pets are equally as friendly as well. Located downtown Monteverde--walking around for meals was quite easy. If taking the bus, the stop is right in front of the location. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

My 79 year old mother and I stayed at Cabinas Eddy for two nights. It is a family run B&B and the customer service is EXCELLENT. Our last-minute room request (level entry) was honored, the hosts scheduled early morning tours with remarkable naturalists, and they arranged a taxi to the airport within an hour-not an easy feat! Our room was spacious, quiet, and immaculate. We wholeheartedly recommend Cabinas Eddy and their resident dachshund.

Just finished a 2 night stay at Cabinas Eddy B&B. Our room and the common area was sparkling clean and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke very good English. Fresh fruit and a quick breakfast in the morning and local Monteverde beer on tap in the evening was thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks again!

Great service from the nice young guy “Eddie”—owner’s son, who works hard around the clocks, answered all the questions and helped with everything. Room is tiny especially with two swing pods in the room, no shampoo and hair dryer in the shower, but felt new and clean. There is Small refrigerator and two small bedside tables. You can view mountain, trees and street from the balcony. No elevator, maybe 10 steps up. There are a lovely cat “Cathy” and a dog” Molly”, very nice and welcoming. You order your own breakfast with egg and toast, fruit plate is fresh, coffee, orange juice, tea and milk are available. Hotel is in the center, not on the busy street, but close to supermarket and good restaurants in town center just by walk 2 minutes, Public bus station is cross street, you can ride to cloud forest. The only problem is the noisy windy during night, but we maybe too tired, not bother us.

We stayed two nights at this small family owned hotel well visiting Monteverde. The family was very welcoming and informative and willing to help us with anything we needed. The hotel is very clean. Not a ton of amenities, but you don’t need them if you are out and about all day. We have room service every day. In a modest but good breakfast. One thing to note is that the hotel is on a trail level structure and parking is limited. you must go up some stairs to get to your room. So this would not be good for a handicap person. We also enjoyed the lovely animals to live in the hotel

Really happy with our recent stay at Cabinas Eddy B & B. The people that run the place are super friendly and helpful and can help set you up for tours/transports when you arrive. The room is self was great and plenty of space for four people. Had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was really tasty and worth it. Walking distance from supermarkets, bus stations etc. The atmosphere here was great.

Five of us stayed at Cabinas Eddy B&B for three nights in two rooms. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast options were good and parking was easy. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Easy to walk to the downtown area. Very reasonably priced.
