One of our favorite spots in Costa Rica. Sandra is an awesome host. Fresh breakfast every morning, traditional gallo pinto and coffee, fresh watermelon smoothies. She even had local leaf medicinal tea that balanced my upset stomach. Room is a quaint and whimsical egg concrete room. AC and bathroom. Very cute. Steps away from your own private access to the Rio Celeste, the bluest and most beautiful river I've ever seen. This is a must visit on your travel list.

This place was amazing! I am on a roadtrip with friends and this was the most cost effective place we found. It's not luxurious but it worked really well for our needs. The space was clean and the staff were really lovely. We had access to the river which was the most beautiful part of the whole experience and our favourite place to stay so far. The river is super secluded and we were there by our selves in the evening and in the morning. I highly recommend for anyone!

Really sweet owners, great location. The river spot to go swim is just incredible, the breakfast is traditional and tasty. The room were simple but clean and practical. I would stay again

This was one of our favourite places. The rooms were so spacious and private. The private river access was very nice. The service and free breakfast was also very good! The location is right next to the park(drivable) and the free swimming pool(walkable).

Im so sad. Used to come here all the time. Don't know if it is different owners but they were SO RUDE. Did not get the same room I booked and did not get a different price although it's clearly different prices between the two rooms online. Ive been here so many times and was so surprised by his behavior. It was not right to be talked to the way he did. I even told him he was being rude and he just carried on in front of a group of 10 women. Go elsewhere.

If you're looking for a private getaway here you go. The river is just a few steps away. We stayed in the giant egg! It had everything we needed and was so cozy. There are several restaurants just minutes away and breakfast is served fresh every morning. The national park and trails to the waterfall are only minutes up the road. I would recommend this to anyone and would stay again.

The location is perfect for a visit to Rio Celeste and Tenorio. The river on site was nice but it was raining too much when we visited to use. The grounds were nice but could use some maintenance, we were not able to drive down the hill to the rooms and it is a little far carrying luggage. The room itself could use some updating, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The host of very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to see what they do to the place.

Our stay at Cabinas Piuri was a great stop. The highlight was undoubtedly the private access to Rio Celeste for swimming. We were even fortunate enough to spot an anteater strolling along the riverbanks, which was an incredible experience. Additionally, their breakfast tipico was delicious and a great way to start the day.
