I spent 4 nights at Cabinas Tito. Since I was travelling alone, I booked one of the smaller cabins. The price was reasonable. ||All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The cabin was clean and well kept. It was simply but nicely decorated. There was mosquito netting which I did not use or need. Despite what some of the older reviews say, there was air conditioning. (I don’t know whether all the cabins have it now or not, so if it’s important to you, ask before booking). There was also a small fridge. The bathroom was nicely, tiled, and attractive, and had good hot water. ||The grounds were lush and green and attractive. There is some wildlife around. I did see a sloth. ||The place was quiet and felt safe. One thing however that I feel they should add is safes in the rooms, just for peace of mind. Jairo who is working at the reception during my stay was pleasant and helpful. |It was about a 10 minute walk from the main part of Cahuita and not much farther from the National Park entrance.

Great stay, lovely hosts - very friendly and helpful. Close to everything but quiet too. Bonus: we saw mom and baby sloths right out front!!

Lovely cabin with outdoor kitchen (very well equipped) in a garden with a lot of animals to spot. Close to the beach (2 mins walk) and Cahuita NP entrance. Cleaned every day.

I had a lovely stay at Cabinas Tito. The rooms are cleaned every day to a really high standard. The gardens are incredible and we saw so much wildlife (Lola the sloth, poison dart frogs, golden spiders, butterflies, geckos). The rooms are nice, although it’s hard to keep mosquitos and cockroaches out with net windows and there are some gaps in doorframes (but there is a mosquito net over the bed, so it’s fine). There is a really nice sitting area outside with coffee and some cooking facilities. The location is perfect as it is between the reggae bars and the main town, so only 5-10 min walk to beach/restaurants/bars/shops/pharmacy.

We had the Kukula Room. Really nice and the room service was very good. It's place in a big garden with animals. The cabinas was near the Playa Negra and the main street was at walk distance. The host was very kind with us.

Outside off busy Puerto Viejo full off turists. Host Matthew was very helpfull. Place itself Is generály one big inner garden, with wooden pathways, covered area fór breakfasts, or just sitting and chillling with book in your hands. Rooms are nice, equipped with AC And TV with Netflix. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Lovely garden area, lots of birds, poison dart frogs and other animals. This hotel is located close to black beach and a few good restaurants. The cabins are spacious and tidy. Very comfortable rooms with their own porch. There is a shared Kitchen with fridge, dishes, stove and toaster oven, this made it easy to prepare our own breakfasts and snacks. A nice quiet location, I would certainly stay here again!

The perfect place to relax, explore the wilderness around and soak in the Caribbean culture. The manager is a helpful lady who takes care of their guests, helping to sort out trips and activities, recommending restaurants and pointing to the most beautiful beaches around. Cabinas Tito is by the playa negra beach and they offer surf lessons and snorkeling tours. The national park is 5 mins away, and so are all the main restaurants and amenities. Rooms are extremely clean, each lodge has private bathroom, fridge and AC. The garden is the hidden gem of this place; walk into it to find yourself surrounded by local wildlife: howler monkeys, dendrobates frogs, sloths etc, are all around you, gently waking you up in the morning. Highly recommended for a local experience in an amazing place
