Bathroom is tiny. The shower drain is in the floor, so the floor is wet after taking shower. Room is very dark. Location is perfect. I spent 10' trying to close window blinds because it didn't work properly.

Rooms are tiny, well mine was, but the most comfortable bed in Denmark! The bite is perfectly functional and covers all the needs for a couple of nights. It’s in a great location, some very good bars and restaurants around.

I don't know why this place gets a lot of poor reviews. It is in a perfect, central location. Certainly where my room was, at the back of the hotel was extremely peaceful. The room has everything that you need, including a kettle and a hot shower. Staff were really pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was also tasty and reasonably priced. Plus a great wifi connection. What more do you need?

I’ve just returned from three nights in Cabinn Aarhus- as others have said, it is in a great location, so central.|The downstairs lobby is attractive like a smarter hotel, but the bedrooms are basic more like a hostel. I found the bed comfortable and the bed linen was smooth. |The tiny bathroom with shower was okay and although the whole floor area did get very wet after a shower I found it dried amazingly quickly. |The room was quite hot, but my window only opened a little bit. It had a catch so it would not open further. |One night, the seagulls woke me up. They were so loud! I can’t really complain because it’s nice to be by the sea. 🙂|Another night, I was hot and wanted to open the window but when I did, I could hear a buzzing noise from outside so I had to keep it closed. |The third night, I slept well! |I asked at reception why their room wasn’t cleaned. They said it’s only cleaned after three nights. Some people have said in their review you could ask to have it cleaned and if I’d known that I would definitely have asked to have it cleaned. |Like all Danes, the staff on the reception desk had excellent English and were friendly. 🥰|The breakfast was good, lovely fresh poppyseed rolls. On the third day all the Danish pastries and sweet poppyseed pastries had gone I guess they were finished by earlier guests.||Improvements:|In the room there was a small poster in English on the wall advertising the Cabinn hotel brand but the bad punctuation was so offputting. It said “Denmarks leading budget hotel chain” (can’t quite remember the phrase) but it should have an apostrophe: Denmark’s ||On the front steps leading from the hotel lobby down to the exit, they would benefit from brighter steps, the dark grey steps had no line painted on them to show where the step ended and for people whose vision isn’t great this could lead to falls. ||Eating breakfast sitting next to the balcony outside you could see the cigarette holder full of cigarette bits which was offputting. ||But thanks to the good location and comfortable bed and convenience, I would definitely stay here again, and for a budget stay I would recommend it. Thank you very much to all the staff! ❤️

Google
It's a discount chain and the rooms are small as you'd expect. Pleasant and efficient staff on reception. The bedrooms are modern, clean and well thought out and good value for Denmark at around £100 for a twin with breakfast. Tiny w/c and shower with a circular curtain. TV but no fridge. To our surprise, it did have a kettle, tea bags, coffee etc. Nice breakfast on the 4th floor: cold buffet, hot potato croquettes and scrambled egg, mini Danish pastries etc. Paid on site parking is available in the private basement car park.

Google
Their slogan is “All you need to sleep”, and that’s what you find in this hotel. Although the room was certainly small, and even stressful for to people, they are quiet and well isolated. The bathroom is tiny, indeed, but this is a “cabinn” hotel, so don’t expect more. The best part of it is the service staff, specially OHM, a really nice asian boy who sorted out every problem we had. Thank you, Ohm. In short, don’t book if you plan to stay in the room awake for a long time, but only for sleeping. Location is superb.

Google
Very little room, for me felt like hostel. No shampoo, no body lotion, no hair conditioner. The bathroom looks like in a german train. If u are usee to hostels - its good. If you want a proper hotel room - i would not stay here. Very tiny walls, you hear your neighbour and elevator as well

I travel a lot, and know enough to bring solid earplugs and sleep mask. But this hotel was the only place I'd ever had to (try to) sleep with my noise-cancelling headphones on. Screaming pedestrians outside (numerous local bars) and fellow guests slamming doors inside. Curtain broken so a piercing outdoor security light filled the room. Bed base made loud cracking noises at every twist and turn. Awful.||I've stayed repeatedly at the CABINN chain around Denmark and don't mind the concept - a small, basic room at a small price - but this was a terrible experience. Toilet also broken. Won't be back.

Yelp
A reasonably priced and beautifully located hotel. It has a lot of style to it, and a very cool fourth-floor atrium with good coffee and food. There's a lot to like about Aarhus, and you can get to pretty much all of it very easily from here. The drawbacks are the tiny rooms, tiny beds, tiny bathrooms, and shipboard-style showers. If you're traveling light, don't mind small spaces, and can handle showering in the middle of the bathroom floor, though, this place is pretty awesome. It's kind of a pain to have to hide the toilet paper (and dry off the toilet) in order to shower, but that's really not a big deal for the intrepid travelers who don't feel like spending all their money on hotels. It's *really* hard to beat the location, service, and style with this place. I'd be tempted to stay here again, even with all the space-saving tricks they use. And I'm a big, clumsy American.

Yelp
It was paid for so can't help with the cost. Pros: - Free wifi - Nicely located right next to the canal - 70DKK for breakfast - Good service - Really clean - Nicely decorated - I really like the pastel colors - makes the room more prettier Cons: - Really small room - feels like you're on a cruise ship

Yelp
A very simple hotel. Rooms are very basic, beds are okay (but that's about it). The room it self feels really Scandinavian 1990s. Staff is really friendly and the they have a good (but basic) breakfast buffet for 75 DKK. Definitely worth the money! The location is great, downtown Aarhus. So a cheap hotel and pretty worth the money over all.

Yelp
Cabinn builds on a smart concept - a centrally placed hotel with cabin like small room units for a moderate price. The execution of the concept however is pretty lacking. For starters don't expect to get any sleep. The units are so poorly noise insulated that you can literally hear all your neighbors talk, move around, drop things and whatever. The "breakfast" is expensive for the level of quality and the overall interior design and finish is tacky and cheap (which I could live with if the noise insulation was ok) Other reviews say the price to comfort level is ok but having stayed at other hotels in the same price range such as WakeUp Copenhagen this is the pits!

Yelp
No, no, and again no. My friend booked it for us. If I've read reviews ahead of I would not have stayed here. The discomfort level is just unbearable.

Yelp
Considering the price for this hotel it is hard to have any real complains. It is located right in the city center of Aarhus and even if there is a street just outside where there are plenty of bars i never got disturbed by noise or something else. The rooms are super-small and looks just like the small cabins on cruise ships. You can easily see that they are small on the photos on their web site so you should be prepared for that. They could improve the staff a bit, most of them were not so interested in their job and it looked like they just wanted to go home. But keep in mind the price before you book, you get what you pay for, but here it still feels that i got more than what i paid for.

Yelp
We have stayed here for more than a week and have no complaints with the room, the cleaning staff and the cost. But, if you are expecting smiles and good service, walk on by. The location is fantastic. Yes the rooms are small but it is half the price of anything else. The huge disappointment is the quality of the desk staff. One of the weekend guys was just amazing but the manager really hates her job and the guests. I asked if I could charge a bottle of water to my room and was told NO. Nothing else, no apology or reason just NO. They are currently under going an expansion to double the number of rooms. If they don't fix the Customer service, I suspect it might not be around for much longer.

Yelp
Not the most expensive, but in a range of regular hotel. However, the bads are 1/2 of normal size and shower is above sink and toilet. Clean, but tainy and poor extra supplies.
