We were touring NZ with our 18 yo son. Cable Bay was perfect. Very comfortable beds, lounge area, outdoor space. Fantastic views and great location for walking into town or to neighboring vineyards. Very quiet, peaceful and homey. Will definitely return and would prefer to stay much longer than our two nights! Great communication as well. This was our first time to Waiheke. Now we understand better how to order Taxis! But we rang Jan and she was very responsive and helpful immediately. Jan, thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Cable Bay Views, the place was unreal and comfortable beyond what we expected! Jan went above and beyond for us and booked us taxis, gave us local advice, anticipated our every need, and truly made sure we were well looked after the whole time!

Perfect stay of a couple - between Mudbrick and CableBay (easy walk to both!) Really lovely little studio with great shower and super comfy bed :)

Beautiful and peaceful location! It is overlooking the Cable Bay Vineyard and I there are beautiful sunrises if you wake up early enough. The room was very clean and worked well for a short stay. Only recommendation would be to get some water bottles in town if you don’t want to drink the tap water.

We recently stayed at Cable Bay Views (studio 3). It’s a great set up, comfortable, well appointed, modern and comfortable. Great views, close (ie 5 ish mins walk) to Cable Bay, Mudbrick and Allpress, communicative owners, and reasonable value. Few points: - shame the fan in the bathroom automatically goes on synched to the bathroom lights (a pain at night!) and the bathroom bin was broken, the bathroom underfloor heating is great, the modern tv that comes out of the wall is great also!, kitchen is perfectly fine given I suspect barely anyone who stays there, eats there. ||Very popular given its location I imagine and we certainly would recommend it. Just a couple of small things to fix or potentially improve.

Perfect location and nice little studio for the two of us. We have absolutely no complaints. Went right at the start of the winter season, but the weather was beautiful (60-65 degrees Fahrenheit). The sun was beaming in morning and night so it warmed up the studio nicely. Loved the shower and shampoo/conditioner products. The Nespresso was wonderful. Views from our patio were gorgeous and I have to say the grounds are very well landscaped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Lodge house at Cable Bay Views. The two bedrooms were large, as was the family room, and it was great to have a washer and dryer at our disposal. The view was breathtaking, especially at night, where Auckland’s city skyline in the distance looks like a space station. The location on Waiheke Island is fairly good, with everything being about a 10-15 minute drive away. Our only comment is that the cleaning crew could do a bit better in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Waiheke Island is definitely a must-visit if you are travelling to Auckland. We highly recommend renting e-bikes and biking to Man o’ War winery. As long as you are in good shape, the ride and views are spectacular, and the wines are quite good.

We stayed in Studio 1 for 2 nights about a week ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the room, views and convenient parking. Bed was really comfortable. Heated floor in bathroom was a nice surprise.
