"If all you really want to do on your Bahamian visit is relax on the beach, this is the spot for you. A short ride from downtown Nassau (every taxi driver knows where it is), it has everything necessary for a fun morning or afternoon in the sun: a stretch of powdery white sand, calm waters that are perfect for swimming and surrounding resorts where you can stop in to get a bite, order drinks and rent water-sports equipment."

Great beach! Small, calm, quiet, not full of crowds. They rent chairs for the day. Downsides: no restrooms, and no place in the beach to eat (it has very good restaurants in a walking distance).

Wonderfully beautiful beach. We tried rental jet water ski and coconut water at the beach. Great vendors. Highly recommended. Water is amazing and gorgeous.

Very calm and relaxing space to be in, the beach is beautiful and sand feels great. Not much shade but worth the visit. The birds add to the aesthetics.

Great public beach with beautiful ocean views! The water feels just as good as it looks cool and relaxing the waves we’re pretty calm when we visited in early February. The water temp was a lil cooler but pretty easy to adjust to once you dive in. If you want good drinks go see Shantell she has a set up with drinks in freshly cut pineapples and you get to add as much or little alcohol as you’d like to them. You can get one fruit cup with 2 refills for $30 my favorite was the pina colada.

This beach has a very small public area. Parking is available but a bit difficult on the tiny street leading to the beach. There are some people offering sunbeds, umbrellas, jetskis for decent prices. Surely better than Cabbage Beach. But the beach is still mediocre at best if you have been to good beaches around the world

This is one of the smaller beaches. We got there in the morning and it was not crowded. We got there when most of the vendors were setting up their equipment so we didn't approached by anyone. There is a liquor store across the street, along with a few restaurants. The water is beautiful and no trash. I enjoyed this beach.

Cable beach is amazing! If you come in a Cruise, DO NOT waste time and money on unfullfilling city tours. You need to get out, avoid all Taxi scammers that are waiting for you as soon as you get off the Cruise and look for a local that drives a Taxi. Ask them to take you to Cable Beach (should be maximum $10 per person, yes it's not about the destination but the amount of people. I was with me wife and it was not bad) Taxi drivers outside the Cruise are waiting to scam you and take as much money from you as possible ($40 to $60 just for the ride) If you go on one of those you'll regret it for the rest of your life lol. Cable beach has everything you need, crystal clear water, white soft sand, beach beds and umbrellas ($30 dollars all day) the water has perfect temperature and you should bring your snorkeling gear, there are lots of fish and star fish. If you are lucky you'll see a local girl selling cocktails and food ($30 with a refill and she isn't cheap giving alcohol lol) her name is Chantelle.

Simply breath taking! Wasn't too crowded, the weather was perfect, the water was a bit cold, but compared to snow I will take that any day of the week! The chair rental gentlemen where so attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
