"The 1,800-acre master-planned Cabo del Sol golf resort is located right on the Sea of Cortés. It features two public golf courses: the simply but appropriately titled Ocean and Desert courses. The first, many say, is Jack Nicklaus’s masterpiece, often ranked among the world’s top 100 courses. The challenging layout features mesmerizing desert and ocean vistas, with seven holes bordering the sea. The Ocean Course plays long at 7,075 yards. Designed by Tom Weiskopf, it features ocean views from all 18 holes and takes full advantage of the natural setting by incorporating canyon-like arroyos. The dramatic course varies in length from 4,810 to 7,100 yards and provides a challenge to golfers of all skill levels."

Wonderful golf course the layout was really fun, short par’s 4 reachable from the tee’s but the wind becomes your challenge. Every hole you keep going higher up in the mountains and you enjoy the view from Cabos. The staff were very attentive, at least the make you aware about the aeration conditions but still the place was a lot fun.

“I had a wonderful stay at Costa del Sol by Marriott in Los Cabos. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing staff — from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The customer service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with care. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a true taste of paradise!”

When we arrived, the itinerary that we had planned with the concierge was not on file and then when initially brought to us, it was incorrect. We asked for a few cosmetic items to be brought up to the room and never received them. The spa, while a tranquil setting, was very expensive for the quality of service. My wife got a 60 minute facial and it was $400+ USD, which isn't unheard of for that service, but normally would include certain elements that she said it did not. Ultimately, the resort is situated on a stunning location, but seems they're heavily relying on the landscape rather than the typical Four Seasons service you'd expect for the price you pay. Would recommend the Auberge properties over this one for those reasons.

The course is in good condition, the service and staff are excellent! But The club house looks like a temporary one with a few containers put together! The ocean course is closed for private purposes!

Initially disappointed because private course was ocean view, but desert course more than exceeded expectations.

This location is beyond amazing. Four Seasons at Cabo del Sol is on the same level at Las Ventanas. Sooo amazing

Yelp
The course was in good shape overall. Everyone there was pleasant to interact with. I was a single and got paired with Gus who works there. He had great course knowledge and was fun to play a round with. Will be back.

Yelp
Very great course. Impressive staff. Even though only 12 holes were open we loved the place, and happy to break 100 on our round. Hey I'm working on it. We played Palomino this weekend too and weren't impressed and probably won't play there again. Bring some "off" too bugs for days.

Yelp
Cabo del Sol is where you want to be for Sunday brunch. Between 10:30 am - 2 pm, it's all-you-can-eat goodness. I've been to many a buffet and this one is tops when we talk about brunch. Waffles, Benedicts, pastries, shrimp, salads, mimosas, lobster tails, prime rib, gelato, egg rolls, soup... do I need to keep going? Oh, I do! There's bottomless mimosas! For $50 per person USD, you get all that as long as your stomach allows. With a view of the ocean. It's decadent, which is probably why they only serve on Sundays. Go there, tip the servers and enjoy.

Yelp
Cabo del Sol has lost its charm. I have been visiting this location between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas since the mid-1990s. For most of the first 20 years, Cabo del Sol was a beautiful (still is) location that was not overdeveloped and where the hospitality was unsurpassed. That has changed. Cabo del Sol is overbuilt and taking on the appearance of any other congested conglomeration of condos, townhouses, large homes, and hotels. There is little to distinguish it from Florida or other beach resort communities in the U.S. In fact, there are far more Americans than Mexicans--as far as residents go. The once welcoming and wonderful golf courses at Cabo del Sol have been obstructed by high rise construction in the middle of the course--the Ocean Course. Going private has made the Ocean Course largely off limits and the Desert Course is overplayed and hard to get on. Clubhouse staff and the starters, who always were fun and friendly to be around, are now arrogant and disapproving. I single out the morning starter on January 6, 2022 as a complete jerk. His attitude was--you're lucky to be here and, even though the course was almost empty, he wouldn't allow play until he felt confident that the wait reinforced the prestige of his club. A sad experience. I loved this place for many years and visited once or twice every years. I now need to fine a location that wants visitors--not homebuyers.

Yelp
Spectacular views and phenomenal cuisine!!! Can't recommend this outstanding restaurant enough to all our friends back at the hotel & at home. It's the best kept secret of San Jose Del Cabo! Come see for yourself... Cheers! P.S. The golf course is the best course Jack Nicholas says he ever designed. It played that way too. Top rated golf course of Mexico & Latin America.

Yelp
Absolutely ridiculous green fee of $450. Greens were very slow. They have now ruined this golf course by renovating it so they can build more houses on the golf course. What used to be a top 25 in the world golf course is now just mediocre. I played it in 1998 and 2010 it was so much better. All about $$$$! Very disappointed. About to go private and they've changed the name of the course too The Cove Club. Don't waste your time here. Nicklaus should be embarrassed at the "renovation".

Yelp
We started off with a breakfast in their restaurant and it was so good! Eggs Benedict were just perfect afterwards we hit up the golf course and it was a lot of fun. Breath taking views for the win! I stopped and actually walked to the water to dip my toes in you are that close. Now I'm not a golfer and was just riding along with experienced golfers and I had a blast. The complimentary tacos were awesome. I got the shrimp and easily ate 3 of them.

Yelp
Luzma and the entire team Cabo Del Sol Club are the most AMAZING and talented people. We recently held our ceremony and wedding reception at Cabo Del Sol and it was the most magical day we could have dreamed. From the initial site visit, to the tasting, to the day of the wedding, we were given incredible service and they made us feel so special on our big day. Being in the wedding business, I've started to channel "my inner Luzma" to try to emulate her phenomenal personality and positive demeanor. She is a true professional and a huge asset to the Cabo Del Sol Club. She surprised my husband and I with personalized gifts so we both could take home another memory of the weekend. The food at Cabo Del Sol was beyond amazing. All of our guests have told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to and that's 100% because of Cabo Del Sol and Luzma. All of our guests had brunch the following morning at Cabo Del Sol Club and it is truly the best brunch in the world! Thank you Cabo Del Sol for giving us the most spectacular wedding weekend we could have dreamed! We can't wait to see you next year!

Yelp
Great experience and a great course with wonderful staff. Pick this place before you choose Cabo Real Golf Course. Del Sol is much better and more reasonable in price. Cabo Real forces you to share carts with strangers even when they are slow.

Yelp
We played both the Ocean and the Desert Courses, and we prefer the Desert Course by far. There are ocean views from most of the holes on the Desert Course. We think the Ocean Course is overpriced. We paid $110 to play the Desert Course at 12:30, and we paid $255 to play the Ocean Course at 10:30. The fairways and greens are in prestige shape, although the greens are deceivably slow. The fairways are wide and the ball gets s lot of roll to it especially at the Desert Course. We had a great time playing both courses, but we highly recommend the Desert Course.

Yelp
The clubhouse restaurant is amazing!! The food was well prepared and each dish most delicious! Many fresh fish, not fried, on the menu. The chef sent us "presents" a ravioli that melted in our mouths, and a frozen truffle! One of the best restaurants we've eaten in for the price. Free shuttle to and from our hotel at Hacienda Del Mar.

Yelp
The food at this golf course is really really good. We had the pork chop last night and it was one of the best I've ever had. Its not a place you would expect to go for dinner, they close the grill at 7 pm, however, you wont be disappointed in the quality of the food, its amazing.

Yelp
A pleasant surprise when looking for an alternate to the Sheraton group of restaurants. A beautiful clubhouse, with a killer patio and great views. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Cocktails: 3/5 Food: We had the 4-course tasting menu and it definitely did not disappoint. The food was better than expected and the portion sizes were substantial. Service: Our server was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere: A beautiful spot. A little on the quiet side, but once the cover band singer came on (he was really good), it livened up a bit. Price: Great value for a delicious meal. Cocktails: The cocktails were ok - definitely not the highlight of the meal and a touch too sweet. A great recommendation from someone at the hotel. I would definitely return and recommend to a friend staying in the area.

Yelp
The Ocean Course is spectacular and the restaurant is amazing. It's rated one of the top 100 courses in the World and I couldn't agree more. It's expensive because it's worth it. This was one of the best golf experiences I have ever had. Thank you Greg for making my experience truly remarkable.

Yelp
We had dinner last night at Cabo Del Sol Golf Course and it was fantastic ! We started out the day with breakfast there before playing the Desert Course ( actually played it twice in 3 days ) then returned to celebrate our friend's Anniversary with fantastic views and a meal to match ! The service was phenomenal also. I for one had the Flapper Steak with melted Gorgonzola melted on top with wild rice ! My friend had the Pork Chop that he cut with a fork . Who would have thought you can have a 5 star meal and have an incredible Chef personally bring an awesome ravioli appetizer directly to our table . It's a definite bucket list item!
