The Cabo Girao Miradouro is well worth the considerable uphill drive needed to get to it. It's only €3 to get in (per person) but note that to use the restrooms is another 50c per person. There is a good cafe and gift shop on site too. There is limited parking however so whilst there are a few car parks they are small and this is a popular location so I advise visiting either early or late afternoon if you can. The views are simply remarkable. The height is immense and the views are something you cannot really capture on a photo, it's something you need to experience. Highly recommend checking this out when on the island.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. Only 3 euro to enter. You can buy a ticket online in advance, or at a self- service ticket machine. There was a short line to buy the ticket on the machine. You enter by scanning a QR code on your ticket. There is an attendant there to help if needed. There was plenty of parking when I was there, but it got a bit crowded after my arrival. You can see a beautiful view of the coast and the ocean below. You can see neighboring small farms or gardens. There is nice landscaping with pretty flowers and plants. Well maintained. Shops, restaurants and bathrooms (for a fee). I recommend it!

Breathtaking views! This place is a dream! The glass floors add such an element of awe and amazement. You are literally standing in the ocean! It’s very cool up here so bring your jacket! Also, you need €.50 to use the toilet. There’s a nice cafe here but not much else.

Beautiful but very crowded spot with a glass floor. Entry fee is €3, and there's parking nearby. Cabo Girao is one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and vineyards far below The glass observation deck is thrilling, stepping onto it feels like walking on air. However, it’s often overcrowded, especially in peak midday hours. It’s worth a visit, but there are other viewpoints on Madeira such as Miradouro do Guindaste or Miradouro das Cabanas that offer equally stunning views with fewer people

It is is a renowned glass-floored viewpoint perched atop one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, located on the southern coast of Madeira, Portugal. Standing at approximately 580 meters (1,902 feet) above sea level, it offers visitors breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the coastal town of Câmara de Lobos, and the terraced fields known as “fajãs” below.

A nice view point but not the best on Madeira, just highest and most expensive. Cool thing with the glass deck. We enjoyed the view points on the east tip a lot more though. Hard to get parking, bad roads up and very unimpressive service from the people working the gates. Did find them chatting in the back finally when we had issues getting our youngest in (under 12 is free and hence the self service machine does not issue a ticket for them).

The place is good for enjoying some astounding views straight down one of the highest cliffs in Europe. You can look over the railings or try to look through the glass floor. But to be honest, the glass floor isn’t very clear, so you can’t really see much through it. It was also super crowded when we visited, so don’t expect any peace and quiet to enjoy the view properly. On top of that, there’s a 3 euro per person entry fee, which feels a bit much for what you get. It’s a nice spot to check out, but honestly, there are plenty of better and more scenic places in Madeira that are less crowded and free.

Would be much more beautiful if there was limitation for visitors at the time because this is crazy.. the glass is already completely dirty, so you can’t see through.. the place is loosing its charm.. really would be great to let just up to 10 people there at the time..

Yelp
With amazing views and a fun (I think some may say terrifying) glass skywalk that extends a little way over the cliff edge, Cabo Girao is a worthwhile stop on a tour of Madeira's byways. That said, I wound't go out of my way to get there or cancel other plans to see it.

Yelp
A must stop... most visited by tourists and locals for coffee, food and little shopping with great 360* view. Just dont look down through the glass floor.. LOL
