The Cabo Girao Miradouro is well worth the considerable uphill drive needed to get to it. It's only €3 to get in (per person) but note that to use the restrooms is another 50c per person. There is a good cafe and gift shop on site too. There is limited parking however so whilst there are a few car parks they are small and this is a popular location so I advise visiting either early or late afternoon if you can. The views are simply remarkable. The height is immense and the views are something you cannot really capture on a photo, it's something you need to experience. Highly recommend checking this out when on the island.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. Only 3 euro to enter. You can buy a ticket online in advance, or at a self- service ticket machine. There was a short line to buy the ticket on the machine. You enter by scanning a QR code on your ticket. There is an attendant there to help if needed. There was plenty of parking when I was there, but it got a bit crowded after my arrival. You can see a beautiful view of the coast and the ocean below. You can see neighboring small farms or gardens. There is nice landscaping with pretty flowers and plants. Well maintained. Shops, restaurants and bathrooms (for a fee). I recommend it!

The viewpoint at over 500 metres high offers an amazing view of Funchal. You can see above the clouds on a bottom glass viewpoint. The entrance is 3€ a person, and parking is easy to find.

Fun place. Medium crowded, but you could still get your photos without too much difficulty or wait. There's a nice cafe (coffee place) and big souvenir store. It's a reasonable price to go out on the glass floor overlook.

We visited here whilst being on a guided tour and it was so beautiful and to look down and watch the birds above the ocean was so calming. There are good facilities like a cafe and toilets and an area to buy tickets with cash however the gift shop was closed when we visited but it is still worth a stop as the tickets are very cheap and we went at 10am which wasn’t too busy but if you go later I imagine in the summer it gets very busy after this time.

Amazing views! But you're on a glass platform so not for you if you don't like heights! Can be busy but people mostly move on fairly fast.

The entire island provide breath taking views, I don’t understand why someone would pay (even tho it costs only 3 euros) for 10 steps to a view point that offers nothing more you’d get for free in several other stops. I don’t know, been there and nothing special. The view from my hotel is way more impressive. For free it’d worth a stop for sure.

Honestly, the spot seems a bit overrated. The drive uphill is more of an adventure as the actual view point. The cliff is high and yes, there is a tiny glass bottom platform, but it's not THAT spectacular. Don't expect to be hanging in mid air above the ocean with a 600m drop. The view along the coast line is beautiful though but there are less touristy and similarly beautiful spots if you drive down the coast.

Yelp
With amazing views and a fun (I think some may say terrifying) glass skywalk that extends a little way over the cliff edge, Cabo Girao is a worthwhile stop on a tour of Madeira's byways. That said, I wound't go out of my way to get there or cancel other plans to see it.

Yelp
A must stop... most visited by tourists and locals for coffee, food and little shopping with great 360* view. Just dont look down through the glass floor.. LOL
