The one star is for the view even you can see most beautiful views around the island. 3 € is the entrance fee which is way expensive without any service in return for visitors, as you have to pay for the toilets if need them and glass bridge is very small and there is another glass view point for free on the northern side of the island.

The Cabo Girao Miradouro is well worth the considerable uphill drive needed to get to it. It's only €3 to get in (per person) but note that to use the restrooms is another 50c per person. There is a good cafe and gift shop on site too. There is limited parking however so whilst there are a few car parks they are small and this is a popular location so I advise visiting either early or late afternoon if you can. The views are simply remarkable. The height is immense and the views are something you cannot really capture on a photo, it's something you need to experience. Highly recommend checking this out when on the island.

Good parking facilities and an easy stop to make. Entrance is €3 per person, which felt a bit cheeky, but the view itself is beautiful and worth seeing. There are toilets, souvenir shops, and a few snack options available if you want to take a break here.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. Only 3 euro to enter. You can buy a ticket online in advance, or at a self- service ticket machine. There was a short line to buy the ticket on the machine. You enter by scanning a QR code on your ticket. There is an attendant there to help if needed. There was plenty of parking when I was there, but it got a bit crowded after my arrival. You can see a beautiful view of the coast and the ocean below. You can see neighboring small farms or gardens. There is nice landscaping with pretty flowers and plants. Well maintained. Shops, restaurants and bathrooms (for a fee). I recommend it!

Get ready to test your fear of heights! Cabo Girão is one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, dropping 580 meters straight into the ocean. There is a glass-bottomed observation deck (Skywalk) built here that allows you to "float" above the abyss. The view from here is panoramic and breathtaking, including the coastline, the city of Funchal on the horizon, and the small agricultural terraces at the foot of the cliff. Champion tip: Admission is free. The place can get busy in the afternoon when tourist buses arrive. Try to arrive in the morning or late afternoon. Distance from Funchal: about 20-25 minutes drive. Price: 3 euros

Fun place. Medium crowded, but you could still get your photos without too much difficulty or wait. There's a nice cafe (coffee place) and big souvenir store. It's a reasonable price to go out on the glass floor overlook.

We visited here whilst being on a guided tour and it was so beautiful and to look down and watch the birds above the ocean was so calming. There are good facilities like a cafe and toilets and an area to buy tickets with cash however the gift shop was closed when we visited but it is still worth a stop as the tickets are very cheap and we went at 10am which wasn’t too busy but if you go later I imagine in the summer it gets very busy after this time.

Meh Its €3 and I still think it's a bad deal... Small glass floored view point 100 others around the island FREE with nicer views. Its an 'added' extra on a bus tour Not worth the drive up the mountain

Yelp
With amazing views and a fun (I think some may say terrifying) glass skywalk that extends a little way over the cliff edge, Cabo Girao is a worthwhile stop on a tour of Madeira's byways. That said, I wound't go out of my way to get there or cancel other plans to see it.

Yelp
A must stop... most visited by tourists and locals for coffee, food and little shopping with great 360* view. Just dont look down through the glass floor.. LOL
