"National Geographic Expeditions offers small ship cruises with fewer than 100 guests, providing immersive experiences close to shore. Onboard experts cover wildlife, local culture, and environment, with activities like kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling. The Baja California cruise includes stops at Bahía Magdalena, Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, and uninhabited islands before disembarking in Loreto." - Travel + Leisure Editors

This is likely the best place to dive near Cabo. Near as in about 2 hours away. Diving was good, but this is not the Caribbean. The water temperatures at depth averaged mid 60's for us. 7mm thick wetsuits and hoods recommended. Beautiful pelagic and reef fish were pretty abundant. Pictures say all the rest.

We drove from Santiago. Google maps said it would take about an hour but the road has deep sand and it took us at least double that. We went to enjoy sunset in the beach. We weren’t impressed; much nicer beaches with better access. Love that it’s a national park, preserving the coral reef.

Amazing beautiful must-see location! We went snorkelling with the Cabo Pulmo Sports Centre and had lunch at “Tacos and Beer” that we enjoyed! If you aren’t scared of a dirt road, go here! We saw 5 humpback whales, sea lions, the reefs and the beautiful beaches! Looks like people can camp in their RVs right there as well.

Beautiful scenery and majestic waters await. There were several places to scuba and snorkel the reefs. The prices seemed to be the same at most down by the water. $1300 pesos a person for a 2 hour snorkel tour. Sea lions and tortuga were int he waters as well as whales during our visit. We were able to see whales from shore splashing in the waves. Unfortunately, we did not go out in the water as we visited on a very windy day. There were a few restaurants available at the main NP entrance for boats.

Nice beach with parking for campers. Not much to see in the water as the coral has been broken. Out further though, available by boat, is some beautiful reef areas. There’s also an area with sea lions (again boat access only) and a snorkel area that can be reached from shore. The shore snorkeling also has mostly broken coral and dead zones though we saw sea turtles and a few puffer fish. Further out in the dive zones there are also lovely reefs so the best method is to hire a snorkel or dive boat.

A sometimes bumpy dirt road through this park takes you to some amazing beaches which you can often have all to yourself. It's rough in some places, but drivable with any car. Beware of many Topes which can be quite nasty and difficult to see because of the road conditions. But if you take it easy, it's very doable and worthwhile. Local resident donkeys will probably want to inspect your car along the way and lots of great cactus forests for some diversity.

One of the most beautiful places! The water is so blue. The beach is covered in rocks so water shoes are recommended. Huge scuba location but snorkeling is also available for non divers. The small town on the coast of the park is an off the grid location. There is no readily available wifi so be prepared to use your data with intermittent outages. Most places prefer cash or only take cash. There are no electric lines so pictures are unobstructed. Due to limited lights at night this is a great place for star gazing and astrophotography. There is a store but if you have strong preferences, you pick up supplies before heading to Cabo Pulmo. The business owners are very friendly. I highly recommend carving out a couple of days to visit but do your research and be prepared.

100% worth visiting! We made 2 open water dives in the park and it was one of the most fascinating experiences I’ve ever had. One of them was a dive with the bull sharks. Don’t worry, the sharks were very friendly. I would recommend to plan this trip ahead since there are limited amount of people can dive at once.

Yelp
A very friendly dive shop and restaurant The staff (like Sergio) are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And the diving off Pulma is fantastic. Note if you do come, make sure you are in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The dirt roads can be tricky, especially after a rain.

Yelp
Top notch dive shop located right on the shore of the amazing Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. We dove here recently and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and happy to answer any questions we had. They were also extremely professional on the diving side of things, which is really important for safety and having the best possible dive. We also are lunch at the restaurant which is upstairs from the dive shop and everything was excellent. They were very attentive to our needs and the food itself was wonderful. They also are a resort that offers accommodations, however we did not stay there. One of the people we dove with was staying there, and he had nothing but good things to say. Cabo Pulmo is a must see if you are an avid scuba diver, and this may be the best possible way to do it. We are planning our next trip to Mexico for later this year and are for sure going to stay at the resort for a free of the days. Hope to see you there!

Yelp
This is certainly worth the adventurous drive to find this isolated corner of the planet with a fantastic piece of ocean worth exploring. Like most Pacific snorkeling don't expect it to be bathwater warm nor possibly low visibility in some areas but fantastic schools of yellow snapper and many colorful familiar and unfamiliar fishes of various sizes. Suggest camping here or bringing a vehicle to sleep in and experience night time... And the quirky company you're bound to find in the little restaurants and bars.

Yelp
One of the best dive spots in the world, a National Marine reserve. Amazing coral, caves and abundant sea life. Cabo Pulmo Diving Station delivered an excellent experience! Great equipment, outstanding dive master. Super friendly and professional! Can't wait to return!
