Caboto Terrace - Independent Seniors' Apartments

I moved here 5 years ago after my husband died and I have been plagued with cockroaches and bedbugs I cannot sleep much at night because of the bites and itching and I have had to throw out my couch and chair because they were so infested and despite management having had my apartment sprayed a number of times and I even insisted on a heat treatment they still keep coming back when the heat treatment was done I spent the night in a hotel all at my own expense and I have also spent hundreds of dollars on laundry and as I’m 78 years old and there is a lot of preparation to do in the apartment before they will spray I had to pay people to come in and do that work. I also won’t let my family and friends come to visit because I’m terrified of them taking the pests home so I’m feeling very isolated and depressed also worried about when I find somewhere else close to my daughter that I will transfer the bugs to there. Department of health say they can’t do anything I know a lot of tenants would like to move out of this hell hole but here trouble finding somewhere and also the cost of moving. While I have been writing this I have killed at least a dozen bedbugs and I don’t know where to turn next I’m living on a very limited income so if anyone has any suggestions they would be welcome and please don’t think about moving anyone you care about move here

We have been moving clients in and out of this residence and found it decent and conveniently located.

My grandfather moved in 2 months ago, he recently had to move because this place is infested with bedbugs. DO NOT bring your relatives in there, spread the word.
