Cabra Castle Hotel

From the moment we arrived at Cabra Castle Hotel, the experience was nothing short of delightful. We were welcomed early and checked in by a wonderfully warm and lovely receptionist who set the tone for the rest of our stay. We started with a pre-booked afternoon tea, which was absolutely fabulous. While we received the Christmas-themed selection, which included a few items I didn’t particularly enjoy, the overall experience was still fantastic. The restaurant's atmosphere, the stunning decor, and the attention to detail made it all worthwhile. The included dinner later that evening was exceptional. I adored everything about it—the service, the flavors, the decor, and the atmosphere—it was all on point and added to the charm of the stay. We stayed in one of the superior rooms in the stables, and I absolutely fell in love. The decor was elegant and in keeping with the castle’s character, and the small windows overlooking the courtyard and gardens gave it such a cozy, picturesque feel. The castle itself is breathtaking, with its original features and enchanting decor leaving me in awe at every turn. Cabra Castle Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Without a doubt, I’ll be running back at the first opportunity.

Lovely night away recently. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Rooms was great .Just few little things were needed. Rail for hand towel and tooth brush holder etc ..even slippers for the room. Dinner was gorgeous and good value. Lounge Rooms in hotel were fabulous with all the antique artifacts etc ..very relaxing .only real negative was the poor breakfast. But all in all, we really enjoyed it and it was very relaxing.

Stunningly beautiful castle and grounds. Food was of a high quality, breakfast great, nothing you could want for. Room was beautiful, very large and well laid out. Staff were lovely, very accommodating and professional. Reason it is not 5 stars is due to no evening entertainment for residents. It seems like it caters mainly for weddings and restaurant visits and not really for residents who want to relax, have a drink after dinner, listen to some music etc. With the prices being charged I think having someone singing, playing a guitar etc is a drop in the ocean.

This castle is enchanting in a great location which instantly transports you to another era. So much rich history and modern luxury. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated with antique furnishings and great views of the grounds. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were great. It was great to explore the grounds and the castle and learn about the history of the castle. The sitting rooms were well decorated for christmas and so pretty.

We held our Wedding here in November 2024. The culture of the staff at Cabra Castle turn a truly great venue into an outstanding one. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcome and couldn't do more to help. We have had many stays in this hotel over the years and consistently have the same wonderful experience, they make everything easy and ensure every little detail gets covered. If you are considering this as a wedding venue, don't think twice - you'll have a wonderful occasion and we found it extremely good value for money.

The Hotel is fantastic with a great food and nice Cocktails. With lovely walks around the grounds and outside seating areas it's brilliant when the weather is good. The room we got was huge it could easily sleep a family. I'll call again we a great weekend.

Went to Cabra castle yesterday for our first wedding anniversary for a meal in the restaurant. From the start it was amazing, from Brenda and Jack with their fantastic service to the food. Not one thing I could say was a let down. To top it all off our deserts came out with happy anniversary written across the plate.lovely atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious.

We stayed here in February and we had an absolutely incredible stay. Superb staff and service. Special mention to Jamie who was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were stunning and super comfy. Food is out of this world some of the nicest food we've had. All of the rooms are so grand yet cosy. Will be returning soon to enjoy a yummy meal before Xmas. Highly recommend
