I have high hopes for this place—and overall, it really delivers. The interior is absolutely beautiful, the ambiance is on point, and the space feels intimate, making it great for a casual date or hanging out with friends. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is solid as well.
Here’s where things become a bit inconsistent. My girlfriend and I usually stop by when I pick her up from Union Station. The first time we visited, everything was excellent—service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all top-notch.
However, on our second visit, we were turned away and told they were closing early, despite it only being around 8–9 PM and their listed closing time being 10 PM. We didn’t question it at the time and simply left. On our third visit, we were informed of “last call” shortly after ordering a drink—again, around 8:30 PM.
This time, I asked our server why they were closing early and was told they were in the process of changing menus. That explanation didn’t fully make sense, as menu updates would typically be handled outside of operating hours. If early closures are necessary, it would be helpful for the business to communicate that in advance—whether through social media, Google, or signage.
I’m not entirely sure what the underlying issue is, but it seems like they may still be working through some operational adjustments, especially if they’ve opened relatively recently.
That said, I don’t want this review to discourage others from visiting. It’s a great space with a lot of potential, and I’m hopeful that these inconsistencies will be resolved—especially with summer approaching.
