Cactus Alki Beach

Stella was super kind & friendly. She welcomed us & went out of her way to make our wait comfortable. Mr. Jose at the Bar was very attentive & showed great customer service. Chris our server was also awesome. To top all this delightful adventure off, Mrs. Courtney ( spelling?) presented us with this awesome dessert ( see the photo), yummy 😋 Thanks for employing such phenomenal people. Great job, Bravo 👏

Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. The brisket burrito was immaculate so was everything else we ordered. The complimentary tres leches flan was extremely good as well. Thanks for the amazing evening.

Fantastic experience! 🤩 Loved their chips. We ordered shrimp and chicken tacos, both were fantastic. But the highlight is the flan! 🍮 Definitely recommend flan, even if you want to skip the main course. 🌮🍤

Best Brisket tacos!! Smoked in-house these flavorful beauties hit the spot! Appetizers were good…clearly I was hungry so I didn’t stop to take pics ahead of time…also the flan was delicious!! Service here was impeccable - as busy as the waiter was, my water was always refilled without having to ask.

Their salsa is really good! Good food and decent service. It is located right next to the beach. There’s outdoor seating and the atmosphere is calm but lively. Plan ahead for parking. Apparently there is a parking garage near by. My friends and I found street parking after less than 5 minutes of circling around on a sunny Saturday - we were lucky!

Dining at Cactus restaurant on Alki Beach was a delightful experience. We enjoyed our meal on the patio with a beautiful view of the water. To make our first visit special, the waiter surprised us with their famous dessert, flam, which was a lovely touch.

We were less than impressed, especially for the price. We found the food to be lacking in flavor and VERY oily. I ordered the brisket tacos, and in the photos you can see how oily the tacos were. The meat was sitting in a puddle of oil and when I lifted the tacos, they were soaked in oil as well - every bite was oil forward and very off putting. Brisket itself was okay, but seemed to be lacking salt, the pickled onions didn’t seem to have any acidic bite, just a bit bland. We also got the chips and guacamole - guacamole was average, salsa was actually good. If we were to come back, it would only be for drinks (which were great) and for the chips/salsa. Our server was great and friendly and service was quick - we did receive a free dessert since it was our first time, and the flan was good as well. Overall, while the service was good and people were friendly, the food was not good and not worth the price tag.

We met our son and family there for dinner and we're immediately impressed with the atmosphere and feel of the place. Menu has a great variety of selections. The bacon guacamole was great. The quesebirria tacos were awesome and everyone seemed happy with their other choices. Probably the best Mexican I've had in several states!
