I ordered the carne asada fries and the fries were so soaked with oil as if they fried them in cold oil. The oil was pooling at the bottom. For 20$ it’s ridiculous. The guacamole looked a bit old as well.

I've been going to this establishment every once in a while for more than 5 years. The workers before were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good and priced fair. The workers now aren't the most friendliest. The quality of the food has declined. I ordered 3 burritos w/ meat and cheese (no rice), an order of nachos, and a bag of tortilla chips for my family. Nachos were okay but the burritos were bad. There was barely any meat in the burritos and it was stuffed with just beans. The tiny bit of meat that was in the burrito tasted low quality. My total order was about $70. Definitely not worth the cost.

If you're used to traveling Beverly blvd whether east or west you know it's not going anywhere! Take a moment to stop and order some great Mexican food from this place. You will not be disappointed. The food tastes awesome and is made with care and quality. It is not fast food, but it is prepared quickly. It has good vegetarian selections but if you want a meat-filled super nachos with all the fixins it has that too. I am glad to support this local business and will continue to do so.

I went there after reading many reviews but got disappointed after looking at the tacos. Asked for onions and cilantro on the tacos, what I got was merely any onions and a few strands of cilantro. Probably it was on purpose because it was to-go and the customer might not check immediately. The good part - At least the meat was not bad.

My husband and I finally stopped by and grabbed some lunch. The food was pretty good and the service was good too.

I don't know why this place had an A. I noticed the fries were sitting there when I got there. The fries looked old, the guacamole looked old and not fresh and the fries looked and tasted old for days. I didn't ask for my money back because I was with family and well I didn't want to be that person, plus i was hungry. I just know I won't be going back.

Ten years ago, this place was mid and a little overpriced. Since then, the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up.

Not the best tacos dorados I've ever had. The chicken was my favorite. Carne asada, nothing out of the ordinary, and the alpastor was not worth ordering again. Friendly service though.

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. I have been going to Cactus 1 & 2 for 20 years and in the beginning it was a legit street taco stand. Plus amazing breakfast burritos and great fries. All cheap too. Nowadays they aren't cheap and the quality has slipped. And tragically, the incredible salsa bar is long gone too. We've had some pretty bad meals there in recent years. But once in a while, they get it right. So I haven't completely given up on them. One of the most inexcusable things they do (even for dine-in customers) is take fries out of the fryer and seal them in a covered styrofoam container. Noooooo!! Perfectly crispy and delicious fries get soggy and ruined super fast. It's just plain careless and unprofessional. I recently spotted an employee who used to work at the Poquito Mas up in Sunset Plaza (RIP). It was so good to see him again, cuz he has the best energy. Knowing he works there makes me feel better about the possibility of Cactus having a comeback.

Large menu with some great options. uUnfortunately the beef fajita burrito was very messy and had no flavor. With a Diet Coke and %15 tip it was $23.

More like a 3.5 stars but I'll keep at 4 because I did have a good experience. The staff was friendly and fast. The food was okay. It's not the greatest food but it satisfied me. Specifically the birria tacos were good although I wasn't happy with their salsas. It is very expensive though, and I don't plan to regularly dine here for that reason. Unless I am craving their birria, thanks for the service!

I had a veggie quesadilla. It was ok. It had more lettuce than cheese. It tasted like a simple salad wrapped in a tortilla. The green salsa was fine. The food overall not much to write home about. A big disappointment for me regarding food in LA. The food was not worth a picture. The place is an outside eatery fast food however not too fast. Outdoor tables were clean. Customer service friendly and with a smile.

Ordered from this place several times over the last three or four years. The food was never amazingly great, but it was good enough. My last order was for a wet burrito, carne asada, no rice, with cheese and sour cream. When my order arrived, it was just a little burrito wrapped in foil, so I knew it wasn't wet because they come in a big styrofoam clamshell to hold the sauce. The receipt had my name on it and all of the other details on the receipt were correct, so I knew they didn't give me someone else's order. I checked my GH app and confirmed that I ordered wet. I called them about it, hoping they'd set things right in one way or another. Instead, some cranky sounding girl said "It's not our fault, so we can't do nothing about it." Not their fault? I wasted a minute of my life arguing with her, then hung up. I sat down to eat my dry burrito, and once I tasted it I found that they also gave me birria instead of carne asada. So yeah, that was definitely my last order from Cactus Taqueria #2, at last for a few years.

The food is okay. The fish taste sweet and not cooked so good. The shrimp taco had no flavor. The service was horrible. The lady had a bad attitude from the moment we walked up being polite to her. The ambiance is nice but the attitude from the staff messes it up. I asked for a refund before the food wasnt even done being made because I felt unappreciated as a customer. The lady refused to give me my money back. I had to calm her down because she was getting so hostile for nothing!

This place is average to me. I see other people complaining about service but the service I received was fine and my food was ready in 5 minutes and they had other customers too. Parking is terrible but the spots that say they're reserved for employees can be used by customers. Like I said the food was average. Nothing special about their burritos and tacos but the price point is probably higher than it should be. My burrito had more beans than meat and the onions weren't chopped that great and it was slightly on the dry side but not bad. Realistically not coming back here because there's cheaper better options all over the place but I'm not knocking them

The food here is excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and served in huge portions. The service is friendly and fast, and the prices are great for the amount you get. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! The Horchata is good too

I come here for the good salsa / hot sauce choices. Typically I get bean and cheese burritos and sometimes get the chips and guac or a Carnitas burrito. Food is decent, and the red hot sauce is the highlight. Good value

Cactus, I love your food, your Mexican dishes are consistently fantastic, and your French fries have so much potential. That's why I'm giving you 4 stars. BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pay attention to special requests on Uber Eats orders, especially when it comes to something as simple as ventilation in the to-go boxes. Here's the issue: when French fries are packed without vent holes, they steam themselves into a soggy, inedible mess during delivery. It's such a shame because I can tell they would've been amazing straight out of the fryer. For $5-$6, fries shouldn't end up in the trash or require extra work on my end to salvage them under the broiler.

Amazing service always. Been coming here for years (born & raised in Ktown). Honestly I'm not sure what's up with the recent bad reviews or poor star rating but these are the best burritos in koreatown !! They also have asada fries, highly recommend both. Huge menu including breakfast. The staff has been nothing but sweet & accommodating to me . The Beverly one is my favorite one

5 years ago, i had the best burrito ever had in my life from this place "fluffy, stuffed" but today i got this thin as burrito for $15 and waited for 20 mins . That's crazy huh. If i knew this gonna be like that i'd go for a food truck. They need to do better.

Literally just get the shrimp quesadilla and thank me later! It's so good. My husband LOVES the chile relleno burrito. We always have had it delivered but when I drive by it looks super cute!

Best burrito I had in a while (meat avocado and cheese ) Definitely will come back and can't wait til the one by my house opens up .

Ordered via uber eats. The driver was intoxicated and smoking a cigarette. Uber eats support was useless. I ordered carnitas and got the "vegan" option.

The place is totally simple Mexican like fast food. The price is good and the service it isn't so fast, but they work a lot, many delivery. But the us really fresh and tasty, my fish tacos were great!

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. It was so greasy I could hardly eat it. I ate a few bites beause I was starving. After about 30min. I started throwing up from all of the grease. 2hours later and I still feel very nauseous I threw it in the trash so I don't have a photo.

My favorite spot from this chain. La señora from the morning cooks good but they have a high turnover just like any other restaurant. The chicken and beef I would recommend but that's my opinion. Shrimp burrito is good. My favorite dishes are huarache con pollo, super fries con carne asada, super nachos con carne asada and bean on the side. Parking is limited but they do have 2 lots plus plenty of street parking. There's out door seating but I would recommend since ur next to a heavy traffic street. Unless you like extra toppings

I normally love the food here however I stopped by Friday evening & was disappointed the two girls working the shift gave me a cold burrito with cold meat although I was eating in the parking lot I decided to just take it home n reheat it. Now that it's hot I can actually taste the meat because it's. It cold anymore very disappointing

I never leave 1 star reviews for restaurants. However, when I get food which is completely inedible I have no choice but to give that establishment 1 star. Was late last night, I wanted a quick Grubhub fix. I had gotten food from Cactus Taqueria #2 before, expected 3 to 4 star fare. Decided to order Chile Relleno. Sadly it was a bad call on my part. The Chile itself was bitter. It also was undercooked. Hence not only was the shell bitter but it was tough to cut through. I hate to complain but this dinner was really awful. I took it outside and threw it in the trash. I have had other dishes from this establishment prior. They have been about 3 1/2 stars. Last night's food was really bad. Hope the restaurant looks into this. Every aspect of last night's dinner was off - bad refried beans, bad rice - etc. Hopefully they had some internal challenges in the kitchen.

I've been coming here a few years and the quality is just gone down hill. Which is sad and disappointing. The last straw was another disappointing order. I ordered a Chile relleno burrito and fish taco and it was just not good. My fish taco's tortilla was soggy and broke the moment I picked it up - fish tasted ok but I had to use a fork to eat it. My burrito was nothing but rice, beans and a pablano pepper with nothing in it - like there was NO CHEESE. Therefore the burrito was just off and weird. I also feel I use to get chips with my burritos? Maybe not?

Had a chorizo torta, chips, and an Agua Fresca Jamica. Food felt lukewarm to the touch. Decent bread. The mayo help because it was a bit dry and the chorizo did not feel real. Jamica felt like drinking candy that was artificially flavored. My chips were cold and stale. They were just sitting out on a counter. It was a rainy day and it was cold, so the wind chill was added to those chips. There is a very small parking lot as well. I paid about $16 for my meal. It should be worth eight to nine dollars. I wouldn't be back here and the only reason why I went is because it was the closest restaurant to my workplace.

My husband took me to this place saying this was his all time childhood spot growing up. I have to say, this spot really hits the spot !!!! Their burritos are AHHHH - mazing!!! I wish I live in LA to try this place whenever I want!!

So disappointed. Ordered a burrito -paid for avocado and cheese added which was not included. Asked for light rice and burrito with meat was mostly rice and beans--yuk! And bad attitude of the workers. We asked them to cut the burrito in half. As we were going to Dodger Stadium and they don't allow knives. They did it grudgingly Threw out most of it. Will not be back.

Place has great Mexican food. I love the California Burrito we had a few days ago, and I was delicious. My first time coming out here to this place. The Burritos are really huge with lots of meat, cheese , and any other stuff you want in it. Nice staff and customer service. I cant wait to visit again.

They leave you on hold for 20 minutes when you're trying to call in an order for pickup. I stayed on the phone the whole time bc I was sitting in traffic and hoping I'd make it there in person while still on hold and call the lady out and bc I could hear her complaining how people aren't tipping - oh gee i wonder why!? The customer service here blows the location on Vine is way better.

I used to come here with my boyfriend and some company, during pre-covid days, as a late night meal. I came back today, giving them another chance and trying to support small businesses after COVID, but this place just needs to be SHUT DOWN. And that's on PERIODT. And I'm usually generous when it comes to rating but I am also honest about it. First of all, if you're going to take my or any customer's order, don't be on the damn phone and pretend that you've mastered the art of multitasking. Maybe refine your skill, if you will. Second, if you heard something wrong, don't blame it on the customer -- give the refund the customer asks for with no questions asked, especially if you don't have a "no refund policy". Third, don't expect TIPS with this kind of trash customer service. Don't tell me a dumb excuse saying how you need to call your credit card machine company for refunding because that is all bullshit. You can definitely give me a refund with that 20 year old credit card machine. As a local, I'm never coming back.

Worse wait ever waited 20mins for 1 burrito. No one else was here and there were doing phone orders before people standing there..manager get your shit together and come up with a better plan

I like my burrito saucy and juicy. I need at least 3 green sauce. This place is allowed to give you only 2 green sauce. Gimme more green sauce!

This location accepts both card and cash. The best asada super fries I have ever tasted. Easy street parking, call an order ahead.

The asada burrito was quite well. But the customer service is horrible. Both occasions the cashiers were very rude and have attitudes. I was going to support the business but not after the very rude customer service. They have to do better than this.

The food is solid, it's passable, but the service is so god awful at times, which made me so frustrated. Also sometimes they'd get the order wrong! and It was really frustrating.

the worst customer service here. employees rather talked to each other than do their jobs. I also called one time to get a pick up order and they left me on hold for fifteen minutes and never once picked up.i could here them chit chatting and laughing having a good time . never giving this joke of a business my money again .

You can tell by the color of the tortilla and the seed that real peppers were used in the sauce. Those cheese enchiladas are so rich, moist, and gooey. Some of the best I've ever had. Service is fast too.

my shrimp taco feel apart in my hands after one bit. the taco shell disintegrated & the food became inedible. i showed the service lady, her response "it's my my fault" .. "the tomatoes are wet, the sour cream is wet" no responsibility taken whatsoever. eventually they grabbed my taco box from me, threw it in the trash & said "they're making you another one". pretty disappointed with this whole experience. don't waste your time.. better places to get tacos & get treated with some respect in LA.

I found hair in my food. I ordered a California burrito from this establishment and it came with disgusting body hair. I was so appalled I asked for refund but got offered store credit. If I was disgusted once, why again? I am not insane.

When it's a late night, and you want to grab a quick bite, then we think of either McDonalds or a taco truck. Usually we lean towards a taco truck, but let's face it. It isn't safe, and its beyond getto with no food regulations. This place is great for a quick late bite with good enough for authentic Mexican food. There is multiple locations, but I haven't tried the other locations. - Super Nachos with Carne Asada: I LOVE their nachos. I went through a phase where I wanted this almost everyday for a year. It is a fully loaded nachos with meat, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and etc. Now, they charge extra for guacamole but its worth the extra bucks. This is a dish where all the food lovers will look at and fall in love instantly by just the visual. - Burrito with Meat (#5) this comes with sour cream and guacamole. When it comes to food, don't skimp on the stuff where it will take your food to the next level. Like a typical burrito, it comes with rice, meat, and beans, but with the sour cream and guacamole; It becomes this rich creamy texture along with your meat. So GOOD! - Tacos: Like a taco stand, this does compare with them. They are made with corn flour and the meat with cilantro and onions. - SAUCES/Jalapenos/Radish: This is the one thing I hate about this place. All the sauces and condiments are all out in the open. Its great because you can basically get how much you want and no one will give you a bad look. BUT since it is out in the open, and the establishment is outside, it can get gross because some people aren't as clean or a bug might get in it.....so be careful before you scoop. The other downside to this place is parking. There is a small lot next to the restaurant but it's a 3 car parking lot. There is plenty of street parking so usually that's not a problem. If its raining or whatever, of course it will be very complicated to get your food since the whole place is like I said, outside. This is a great and safe alternative to taco trucks. Its cheap, fresh (not super fresh), and very convenient.

This location is close to my mom's house. And when I want nachos or carne asada fries and don't want to drive far. I head out here. It is decent Mexican food. Yes it is pricey but what can you do when you want carne asada fries and this is the one near my moms. The staff is great. The area is clean and the remodel was great. Yes it has been awhile since they remodeled or did something to it. Great job on the new change. Now for the nachos it's good but it's not the tortilla chips I love. What I love is the one they make at the market. They do put lots of beans and enough carne asada. I don't mind if they put more meat in my meal. The fries here seem homemade which is very good and tasty. My nephew loves the fries here so this is the spot we go to, just to pick up plan fries. The breakfast bacon burrito is ok I tasted a lot of egg, hardly the bacon. The carne asada rice and beans is a great size and my daughter loves it. The meat is not dry just made right. Now I just have to try the other tacos. Not sure if I could get myself to pay more than $1.25 for a taco. So the tacos are not what I usually get here. But for fries and carne asada nachos/fries this is the place to go to in this area. Parking is very tiny. They do have an ATM but they also do take Apple pay, visa, and American express, discover and so on.

Worst burrito ever, $11 for this trash. Guys don't even go , no flavor they suck , a frozen. Urrito has better flavor , seriously

By far the worst customer service of my life. These people really don't deserve to be employed. There's a very rude lady who works here that literally yells and argues with customers. She was still yelling things as I walked away like? She was the one who was in the wrong but you're arguing with me? The cook, some tallish white guy is no better. I literally go to pick up my order and no one will acknowledge me. I'm standing there at the window for 5 minutes like an idiot. I ask the cook for my order and he said "ok wait", that's it's. That dumb lady walks past me and ignores me, I call out for her, she says "do you need something?" And walks away?!? I'm saying excuse me multiple times, she finally comes to me after waiting a total of 10 minutes now and I ask for my order again.... it was the bag next to the register. IT WAS THERE THE ENTIRE TIME. I saw it there right when I first got there, I obviously wasn't sure if it was mine, I was waiting to be acknowledged and given my order. I tell her about it and she goes off on me yelling saying she never heard me ask for my order?? Like you didn't see me standing there for 10 minutes asking about my order. It wasn't busy at all FYI. Such ugly people and mediocre food. Never again.

By far my FAVORITE spot for quick & delicious food. I am so picky with my burritos and they never disappoint. Have been coming since 2017 and the service has only gotten better each time. Any wait times are expected -- they're a small shop with high demands, give them a break. Every staff I've encountered has been sweet & helpful each time.

Ordered takeout from this place expecting a normal chicken burrito, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The burrito was filled with refried beans and rice but barley any chicken. It was tiny pieces. The cilantros and onions weren't in the burrito like it says they are. I received no sides that I asked for. Jalapeño and lime specifically. I also ordered fries WELL done, and they were soggy. Won't be ordering from here again.

This place isn't the best taco stand in town, but it's good if you don't have cash (they take card) and you need something with seats. They're not open incredibly late, so if you're out past 12 they'll be closed. But they do have decent fries and tacos for a great price! Went here with some friends after a conference at the Wiltern. My boyfriend got the chicharron fries. Fries were great, but chicharron wasn't crispy and made the fries soggy at the end. I got 3 tacos with cheese and avocado. Their avocado was fresh and cheese the perfect texture. I got 2 carne asada and 1 chicharron. Their tortillas are a bit small, and they pack the meat, so it's a little hard to eat. They come with tortilla chips which are good. Their salsa bar is great and I love the habañero and smoky. It's so good!

An authentic little roadside taco place. Seating is all picnic tables, outdoors (though covered). I had one of the best chicken burritos I've had in LA. Simple and delicious. Really good rice and beans. My friend had a carne asada torte that was delicious, and chorizo tacos which were scrumptious. Everything was fresh. Nothing was greasy. A few adjacent parking spaces. Good for a quick bite or a big meal! Excellent food at reasonable prices. For a real LA taco place, this is the place.
