Seems an age when we visited back in September last year. Realised i hadn't reviewed this superb place. Arrived on a typically damp Asturias afternoon.|Warmly welxomed by Emma the owner.|Superb , very large minimalist room. |After dinner we returned for a glass of wine and a bit of a chat with our host.| Comfortable nights sleep and then breakfast, outside as weather was better. The building is spectacular and breakfast and hospitality were great.|Had a super recommendation for a local beach for a walk. Super choice.

We spend two nights at the hotel. A great location if you want to do hiking or enjoy the beaches around that area. It is a small & beautiful boutique hotel. Mountain view, amazing architecture of the building, beautiful interior design with interesting artworks of the owner make that place so special. The rooms are very clean. Josecho will prepare you a very delicious breakfast and give you outstanding tips for restaurants and places to visit!!!||We really enjoyed our stay and we will come back for sure when we visit north Spain again!!||

I read about this boutique hotel in a magazine in Australia and knew I had to visit one day. Located in a pretty little village off the main drag this small hotel blends into the natural environment and is sensational to say the least. The artist owner Emma was a pleasure to deal with and with limited English on her side and limited Spanish on mine we managed to communicate without any problem. The hotel has only a few rooms and the decor is modern and stylish. ||||The room was spotless, the outlook just divine, the food recommendations from Emma were brilliant and I would have to recommend this to anyone who loves modern architecture, the environment, good style and fabulous service. 2 days just wasn't long enough.I would have expected to pay more for such a unique experience.

When you see the website pictures you can think that the whole house is the hotel, but the back side is the hotel. The front is the house of the owners. Very warm welcome with drinks. Interior lounge, also breakfast area is very modern and so is the room. In our very spacious room the shower is in front of the bed and behind the curtain the toilet and sink. There is a bank and you can open the doors to go outside into the garden. Breakfast is excellent, every day something different and so is the kitchenware. We got great advice about places to visit, restaurants, beaches and walking paths. Our advice is to put indicator signs so you can easier find the hotel and perhaps a carpet for cold feet near the bed and bank.

The hotel may have four starts, but it does not show. The building is nice, but not comfortable. Rooms are right next to the reception area, and walls are very thin. Not a great place to enjoy peace and quiet (or to have much privacy). The hotel's charms begin and end with its architectural form. The management approach is not detail-oriented: do not expect a "boutique hotel" experience, great customer service, or amenities beyond the bare minimum.

We stayed here back in late September but it was such a great place to stay that I couldn't not review it, so here I finally am!||||CAEaCLAVELES is an amazing building in a perfect location between the mountains and the sea, with outstanding beaches close by - it was like staying in a work of art!||||We stayed 2 nights and were treated to brilliant hospitality, with lovely (different) breakfasts each morning outside with the best view you could imagine.||||Our room was absolutely huge with amazing artwork on the walls and the biggest bed. Plus there was the added bonus of some very friendly (and well behaved!) dogs on site too.||||One tiny suggestion, with the room so big and us being addicted to tea! It would have been a nice extra to have a fridge and kettle in the room, so we didn't have to bother anyone every time we wanted a brew.||||Overall though, a brilliant stay, we can't wait to return!

We stayed here for two nights in May 2014. Finding the hotel was easy from the Autopista following the sign to La Pereda , although we didn't expect the security gate / intercom. This was not a problem as all guest are given a fob to open the gate as required.||The building is a stunning modern structure and the interior finishes are very thoughtful. The owners are extremely helpful and breakfast was a class act, different fresh prepared dishes each day. The room was ultra modern, very comfortable large bed, and the views of the mountains from the hotel are fantastic, it's a very quiet location.||It is possible to eat at the hotel although we used a nearby restaurant which was excellent, if the food is as good as the breakfast indicates then you may be in for treat.

Plus;|We stayed in superior room which was huge, good decor, large comfortable bed. |Large sliding doors out to lovely garden area with mountain views. ||Good wifi ||Minus;||Sound insulation very poor. Could hear next doors bathroom and conversations at reception. ||Bright red security light in room stays on all night. ||Room facilities poor, no safe, no fridge, no drinks facilities, no table either coffee table or dressing table, no toiletries except soap.||Bathroom area is curtained off from bedroom - no door. ||Outside only two of five rooms had bistro table. Rest of garden furniture on first come first served basis. ||On arrival we were told it's not possible to eat at the hotel (only breakfast) we needed to give a specific time for breakfast for the next morning. ||Only facilities in nearest village are other hotels. No shop etc. |
