Caen Castle Keep

It was a great castle to view the past. Great views over Caen. We went on Monday so all museums and cafe closed but this was advertised online so we knew it.

Great real castle to discover for young and old with lots of French informative signs.

For a place that was built 500 years ago, it sure was under a lot of construction.

Interesting heritage site in the castle. Amazing what a thousand years will do to a historical sight!

Nice to around here. Interesting Short Movie Clips which explained the history of the place.

Jolie rénovation des espaces du château, même si le donjon n'a pas été reconstruit. Un qr code permet l'accès à un audioguide gratuit qui vous guide et vous commente le château à travers les différentes époques. Très sympa à faire
