Caer Menai

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caer Menai. Everything was superb. A beautiful room with a spotlessly clean and spacious bathroom. The house is a gem - beautifully furnished and decorated. And we were provided with a generous and delicious breakfast. I wish we had had more than 2 nights there - it wasn’t long enough. Anthony and Neil were lovely, friendly hosts. And finally the location could not be better- right by the walls of Caernarfon Castle with a parking pass provided. Thank you

We have have just returned from a lovely two night stay at Caer Menai. Neil could not have made us feel more welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The accommodation is second to none. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Caer Menai is in the perfect spot near the castle and near to all Caernarfon’s restaurants and shops. A beautiful place to stay to explore Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. I cannot recommend Caer Menai enough and am looking forward to returning.

We stayed 2 nights at Caer Menai and had a wonderful stay. Welcoming and very friendly. The whole house is decorated beautifully throughout and has lots of character. Our room was very comfortable and the en-suite exceptional. Breakfasts are superb with great variety and choice.||The location is brilliant- close to all local amenities and attractions such as the Welsh Highland Railway and the Castle. Beautifully restored and decorated. Neil was a great host, friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, nice extra touches like having a fridge with fresh milk and water. Wine glasses and corkscrew provided. Biscuits in room were not just the standard type, had oreos one day and chocolate fingers the next. Breakfast was high standard and perfectly cooked. Located in ideal position within castle walls, walkable to shops,bars restaurants and menai harbour.

We had such a lovely stay here! The hosts were fantastic, the food was delicious, and we felt incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in Room 8, which I imagine is one of the best—stunning views of the sea and the historic walls. The location is very central, and the parking permit made things so easy. We’re visiting from New Zealand and absolutely loved our time here. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Caer Menai. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Neil and Anthony were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. It's in a great location near the town centre and the castle. There is a variety of pubs and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic b&b, convenient town centre location and lovely hosts. I stayed in room 3 a spacious King room, bed was super comfortable and lovely fresh bed linen. The room was spotlessly clean and had all we needed and more. Had a great nights sleep, very quiet and the windows had blackout blinds and thick curtains. At breakfast I was treated to a big cooked breakfast, you could tell the ingredients were good quality especially the sausages and eggs. Neil was more than helpful making the tea and coffee and giving recommendations for places to visit and eat. They also had a help yourself buffet of cereals, fruit, breads and yoghurts. The breakfast selection was exceptional and included in the price of the room which isn’t the case in most places these says. |I was given a parking pass for free parking in the nearby carpark which was again an unexpected bonus. |Overall i cant recommended caer menai enough and will definitely be returning to stay again.

Fabulous location within the old town castle walls. Spotlessly clean, generous breakfast, super comfortable room and bed. Host was brilliant from assisting with luggage to providing wonderful ideas for sightseeing. Prior to arriving we were concerned about parking. For us it was no issue as we had occasional street parking and when we parked in the car park the walk to the accommodation was along the picturesque waterfront. The parking permit also gave free car parking at other tourist locations! There three nights but would’ve loved to stay longer
