Caer Menai

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful guest house, which is full of character and is really a gen of a place to stay at. I couldn't fault one thing and we would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for accommodation.|We were greeted by the owner Neil who is so lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful and that made the stay even more special. You can tell Neil takes pride in making sure all of his guest's receive 5* service.|The rooms are emulated and very clean and have so much character to the bedrooms and downstairs in the other rooms.|The bedrooms were a very good size with your own separate shower cubicle. Also, we had a kettle with a great range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and different types of biscuits. A mini fridge filled with bottles of water and fresh milk. The smart tv in the bedroom has access to sign into your own Netflix and Amazo n accounts.|A great variety of hot and cold breakfast options for everyone. The breakfast menu had Welsh fry up, pancakes, cereal, fruit, toast, yoghurts, muffins and other options. The food was great quality!|The location is amazing with everything on your doorstep. The area is very laid back and very relaxing atmosphere.|What more can we say, apart from, we felt absolutely gutted to leave this beautiful guest house. We can't wait to come back to visit again.|Thank you so much Neil for making our stay one to remember. We would really highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arrived at 1245. Neil answered the door. The Room was ready and he gave us a free upgrade. Located one minute walk from castle, shopping area, pubs, restaurants. Small fridge in room ideal to put in a couple of cold drinks. Breakfast was also amazing. Piping hot, super fresh and cooked perfectly. Two options for parking - one paid by the accommodation or one slightly closer (a one minute walk away) next to the Marina which is free 24/7. We used this one as there were plenty of available spots and so close to our accommodation.

We have have just returned from a lovely two night stay at Caer Menai. Neil could not have made us feel more welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The accommodation is second to none. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Caer Menai is in the perfect spot near the castle and near to all Caernarfon’s restaurants and shops. A beautiful place to stay to explore Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. I cannot recommend Caer Menai enough and am looking forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caer Menai. Everything was superb. A beautiful room with a spotlessly clean and spacious bathroom. The house is a gem - beautifully furnished and decorated. And we were provided with a generous and delicious breakfast. I wish we had had more than 2 nights there - it wasn’t long enough. Anthony and Neil were lovely, friendly hosts. And finally the location could not be better- right by the walls of Caernarfon Castle with a parking pass provided. Thank you

We stayed 2 nights at Caer Menai and had a wonderful stay. Welcoming and very friendly. The whole house is decorated beautifully throughout and has lots of character. Our room was very comfortable and the en-suite exceptional. Breakfasts are superb with great variety and choice.||The location is brilliant- close to all local amenities and attractions such as the Welsh Highland Railway and the Castle. Beautifully restored and decorated. Neil was a great host, friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, nice extra touches like having a fridge with fresh milk and water. Wine glasses and corkscrew provided. Biscuits in room were not just the standard type, had oreos one day and chocolate fingers the next. Breakfast was high standard and perfectly cooked. Located in ideal position within castle walls, walkable to shops,bars restaurants and menai harbour.

Enjoyed a very warm welcome, our bedroom was beautifully decorated with an extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and Caer Menai was well placed for getting around. Will definately be returning.
