"Caesars Head State Park is known for the great hawk migration from September to November. The best views are obtained by hiking the Raven Cliff Falls trail to see the 420-foot falls and surrounding forest." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Went on a weekday after work, very few people there and excellent views. Sure, it's a very small overlook with nothing else to really do, but it's free to enter and the view is spectacular. It's different than most mountain overlooks as it's on the edge of an instant drop off, so instead of looking out to a sloping mountain, you're just above it all. Sunrises and sunsets would be incredible here, I recommend you check it out if in the area!

Very nice outline place near Simpsonville. This place is on the migratory route of falcons and they have kept nice information about their route and time of the year when the birds are really moving from this hill area. Interestingly we could visit in December and seen ice forming due to the water falling from the dew of the trees

It's worthy to visit this pick. Nice to see nature from that pick point. Marvelous beauty will make you silent for a moment. During November, vibrating fall color was observed from that area. You don't need to hike. You may bring your kids and pet. It's really nice area.

Wow this is an amazing viewpoint. Definitely worth doing the Devils Kitchen. That rock walk through is outstanding. Rangers were super helpful down at the gift shop. 100% worth your time to come here. The road up is pretty fun incline with plenty of turns.

Beautiful views, you breathe fresh air, the experience of being there is incredible and unforgettable. Caesar's Head is a state park in South Carolina, elevation 3,208 feet, no fee required, very close to parking, recommended for all ages. There is a cool narrow cavern that you can also explore there, there is a visitor center, it has bathrooms, picnic area, souvenirs and an interactive learning center about God's beautiful nature. You can see Table Rock Mountain from here, this prominent granite outcrop at 3,124 feet.

Pleasant surprise. Beautiful views with limited hiking opportunities that unfit seniors can enjoy. The gift shop has informative displays and staff, and cute souvenirs. Several picnic tables available. Signs indicated there are no trashcans so plan to pack up trash to prevent bears.

This is a quick trip to Caesar’s Head from Travelers Rest. It is about 34 minutes from downtown Travelers Rest. We watched the sunset overlooking the upstate. It was such a breathtaking moment. Must experience.
