My family and I love this place! The owner is a great guy and friendly service, they have generous portions I highly recommend.

The guy that was there was super nice! He prepared custom empanadas for me, and when I got there to pick up the food he was waiting for me with coffee. He also added a complementary coffee, a cookie, and candies to my order. It's nice and refreshing to see every once in a while a place where they really care about customer satisfaction. I will definitely be coming back and recommending them to everyone I know in the area.

My husband and I were in town for a trail race. We were hungry for some good food afterward and didn’t know where to go. I googled restaurants near me and this popped up. This was a fantastic experience. The owner was extremely welcoming, she gave us delicious Cuban coffee while the food was being prepared, and the food itself was absolutely delicious and perfectly put together. I had no idea what to order, so I chose two things out of the cabinet on the counter. One was a sweet banana roll and the other was filled with meat etc. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for excellent food an excellent service.

I don’t really go out of my way to give out reviews but this place is so so so yummy. I was just visiting to get some water but then I saw that they had a mini food place so i decided to try it. They gave me such a generous portion for its price. I’ll come back for more definitely!!! She gave me cookies and I think hot chocolate while I was waiting and I think it was the most delicious thing!!! I recommend the sandwich :) or anything rlly smells so good

I grade like a dxck. If I give out 5 stars, it's something special. Giving café143 4 stars in a category is not an insult. Robert the cook, host, was so personable. I can't tell you how nice he was or if he is ALMOST that nice to you you'll think my review was overrated. But the great reviews others give are justified. Don't do Grub Hub, GO there. Yes, 24/7. The reviews brought me in. I had to go there. His customer service, the conversation was never small talk, it's everything you want but are otherwise afraid. Yes, it's a gas station. Get over it. This isn't Subway, it's not pretentious. It is local, and this guy knows his food. I had the Cuban empanada. A terrible 🙄 cuisine mash up that tasted so good. Culinary purists don't know what they're missing. I live East of us1 (not bragging),so this place is t near me, but everytime I'm coming by, Im stopping in. And I'll ask you 'You want anything?' and your answer should be yes. And the 4 stars? My empanada was heated up, not made to order, BUT SHOW ME WHO DOES THIS for a $3.5 empanada??!? It was good though!! And the atmosphere, why is this even a thing, it is a gas station. But the host Robert is why it gets the four stars. He made me feel like a guest.

Things change. This is in a gas station by the way. The woman who was there looked like a food lover & cook but she and her spices are gone. Now there is a help wanted sign and no one there. I waited over 40 minutes for someone to prepare food. Supposedly they were out on delivery and coming back. The gas station folks said they texted him so I waited and tried to call again. Both times it went to voice-mail. Another couple came & went. They didn't believe I had been waiting, at first... Why on earth don't they use a delivery service? There's no excuse now there are so many. IMO, C143 simply don't have enough turnover to have much that's fresh, certainly nothing like the photos of the food... Sorry I didn't get a Cuban sandwich and empinada when the woman was there... If the owner posts her hours I will try again.

This is my new go to spot. You will not receive better food or service anywhere else. Tell them whatever you want, it's all made to order, including fresh squeezed orange juice with strawberry. I have had breakfast here twice and look forward to trying other meals as well.

Real nice people here. They take care of you as you order. Breakfast sandwich came out just the way I liked it and they gave me a shot of espresso as I waited. High suggest you visit this place. Open 24/7 for everything!
