I love this place, every time I come to Rio I try to have breakfast here at least once. The view is one of a kind! This year I came for my birthday and they gave me a piece of cake with a candle!! 🎂🎉 Always recommend the breakfast for 2, it’s just great! Service is excellent, I’m allergic to nuts and they gave me two extra yogurts with fruit because the regular ones have granola with peanuts. Love it here 💛 Arrive early to get a table by the sea!

Beautiful spot overlooking Copacabana beach. Our light lunch included a tuna melt with generous helpings of tuna and cheese between two thick slices of grilled sourdough plus a shrimp salad. The Caiprinha was perfect! Enjoyed our visit. Just mention at the gate that you’re going to the cafe to skip the entrance fees.

The view was breathtaking! I had a cold coconut cake and a Pavlova, both of which were very sweet, so you'll want to drink plenty of water with them. Other than that, the service was excellent, and the scenery was simply beautiful. I highly recommend visiting, especially since you can enjoy another view from the beach. A quick reminder: you can only use cash to enter the base!

We visited Cafe 18 do Forte twice. Generally, the food there is average, but on Tuesdays and Fridays (this was the case in September) they serve delicious fresh oysters at a very good price. In addition, they have fantastic waiter service and a hall manager. The place itself is also charming, so it's worth visiting this restaurant!

Another amazing experience in Rio. Must have missed taking a photo of the mains but we enjoyed everything so much. The staff was lovely too.

Beautiful setting. Flavourless food. I had the bernaise and it looked nice but tasted of nothing.

Great experience overall. Service was a little slow, but with a nice view I didn’t mind very much. Had a delicious brunch (served until 1). Try to make a reservation if you can, it’s always busy.

Yelp
One of two cafes inside the Fort. We've lunch at Colombo, and drinks here. It was sunset time. The copacabana Beach looks much calmer. We didn't stay long because I wanted to do the paddle boarding - which I did. The red wine came with corks and they poured me another glass. They were also very kind to lent me the charging box to refuel my phone. Thanks.

Yelp
Go! Worth the wait. Incredible views! The food is amazing. The breakfast for two was plenty we could not finish it all. The burrata was yummy. We ordered a few things to try and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
The views are worth it, you have to pay the fee for the entrance to the forte which is annoying if you are coming like us, only for breakfast! The food was good, fresh, they have a fix menu or a la carte to choose. ¡Las vistas merecen la pena, hay que pagar la entrada al forte lo que es molesto si vienes como nosotros, solo para desayunar! La comida era buena, fresca, tienen un menú fijo o a la carta para elegir.

Yelp
This is a charming little cafe located inside a still active however for touristic purposes military fort in Copacabana beach area. This cafe is inside the fort so you cannot drive in there unless you are permanent party, visitors have to pay for admission to get into the fort. The fort has a museum and some amazing views to enjoy, as well as some places to buy some momentos from the trip but once you are done doing that sit at the cafe. The best tables are the ones right by the water with an amazing view of the Copacabana beach, overlooking the water and the most beautiful post card view. Just for the place and view it is worth the trip here. The service is not the best, but here in Brazil the tip is included in the bill so service all around town is not the best, specially if you come from a town like NYC you will notice the difference right away. BRAZILIAN WAY- I got this drink that was a mix of cachaca and fruity juices like passion fruit and such. the drink for me personally was a very sour drink, but most people when dealing with passionfruit are fans of that kind of experience, so if you are one of the people who like that tangy punch, this drink is for you. remember to keep your straw off the cup while not drinking, the straws in Brazil now are paper straws and they will get all saggy and sad if left in the drink for a long time. INCRIVEL BOLO GELADO DE COCO- this is a cold coconut cake that comes with a sauce on the side, the sauce is warm and makes a bit of change on the experience of the cake, the cake was indeed pretty incredible just like said on its name, it is definitely worth the try if you come here for a dessert. The coffe here is pretty. good too, I did have any but my friends did and they were pretty amazed. Again, the service is not the best, we did wait a long time after the food and drinks came to get ahold of the waiter for our check, it seems like that in Brazil the wait staff will not be coming back to your table once all meal is been served, you need to wave them over after meals are served, I am not quite sure why. Just for the view this is a worth while place to come.

Yelp
This was a great find in Copacabana. It's on the grounds of the Copacabana fort and feels like a little getaway from the action in the main part of Copacabana. It's important to note that each person in your party needs to pay an admission fee to the Fort to dine here (5 or 6 Reais I believe). It's totally worth it because you get a wonderful view and can visit the fort and museum. I ordered the seafood moqueca and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The coconut cake was also very good. The food was higher quality than I expected from a small cafe on a historical site. Even if you only go for coffee, the view is well worth it, particularly at sunset.

Yelp
Perfect way to end the day! Went to another cafe just a few stores down early in our trip and on our last day we decided to come here and WHAT A GREAT CALL! Amazing view of the beach & cityscape, outdoor or indoor seating and you can either do a full meal or snackies. The Brazilian Drink (aka pink pepper and i THINK passion fruit) alcoholic beverage was AMAZING and i got two. Risotto was fantastic and we also ordered fried tapioca (which was so good and I would originally been hesitant to order as it doesn't sound SUPER great but it was) and Coxinha! Must Must Must go! We will be back to spend yet another perfect day here.

Yelp
I visited here in the afternoon and loved their drinks and lunch options. The view is amazing and so was the food! Would recommend to anyone coming here. There is an entry fee of 6 rials but it's worth it. Enjoy the museum, fort and view of ocean with turtles.

Yelp
This place is great for brunch if you're in the Copacabana area. It's located on a military fort and the views alone make it worth checking out. The mimosa was huge and the break so fresh! This is a must while in Rio!

Yelp
I came here for breakfast. Stayed for lunch. 4 hours of great service. Amazing view of Copacabana and the turtles. The breakfast is so good. The mimosas and huge and the Amazzoni gin cocktail so good. Lastly if you stay for lunch the beer marinated pulled pork is amazing

Yelp
Yummy! I ordered and loved their Brazilian Ice Cream Bowl: Acai Ice Cream, Tapioca, and sprinkled with Brazilian nuts! Savoring each bite while looking out onto the gorgeous view of Copacabana Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain! Time just slipped away! Brinde!
