Café 8.98 Ao Nang

I came here 3 times, and each time was superb. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Service was friendly and fast, food was excellent, staff are pleasant and very accommodating to any special requests, such as making things less spicy, or adding sauce seperately. Thai food here was great as were the breakfast! The value for money was good. Would highly recommend, any time of day! I wish I knew his name, but one young man serving one evening was absolutely excellent, informed of any changes, accommodated requests, was super friendly and a pleasure to have experienced his service. Well done that man!

A lovely place for lunch. Friendly staff. Great service. Amazing atmosphere. The cleanest toilets in Thailand. The fried basil and beef lacked salt and flavour. The chicken thigh on the Thai menu was delicious. Overall a nice experience!

Just ate at 8.98 Krabi and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of rich flavors that clearly show the care put into every dish. The environment is relaxed and stylish, perfect for enjoying a great meal, and the location itself is very convenient and easy to reach. A fantastic spot that’s definitely worth visiting again.

Cafe 8.98 became our go-to spot in Krabi - we visited it back to back during our 3 days here! Special shoutout to the tiramisu + coffee combo - absolutely spot on. Perfect mascarpone, soft ladyfingers, and a generous (and well-balanced) hit of alcohol. Easily one of the best tiramisus I’ve had. Great service, helpful staff, and a lovely spot to sit and watch the market and people pass by. A must-visit in Ao Nang!

Only downside is that the toilet is always busy (there is only one, mixed for both genders, staff and customers), it's a bit hot unless you sit directly under the fan, prices are high but overall it's just worth it, the food is so good. We went twice, we recommend all that we had: french toast (top notch), eggs benedict, yogurt with chocolate granola. Good coffee too although no coffee art. Worth overall.

I ordered the grilled chicken, but I didn’t want rice, so I asked for bananas instead🤣 and it was no problem! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and really satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.

Excellent café with truly great coffee and a fantastic breakfast. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming — special thanks to our waiter Carmen, who was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional. He really made our visit memorable. Highly recommended when you’re in Ao Nang.

Every time I come eat here I feel like I am with my family , I have been eating here every day on this almost one month vacation . Food is healthy fresh and delicious . I love their beets , chicken with cinnamon and potatoes , everything is good , cheese cake is best sweet here for me , owner is great , just ask if you have any wish she will make it come true . Staff is like family I got to know them so well I feel so comfortable here like I am At home . Try this place , organic eggs for breakfast with avocado great 👍 Thanks for existing , big hug for everyone here . Keep smiling and making people feel welcome here .
