This hidden gem is superb, small and cozy with a perfect sea view. I keep returning here year after year and I have never been disappointed with their selection of tapas. And considering that almost every restaurant in Tenerife have their obligatory tapas dishes, this small cafe is worth a separate visit for their tapases.

Lovely little cafe on the coast. Food is wholesome and tasty. Great value.I would go early in the day because it gets very busy, there are only a few tables. We ate there a few times on our weeks holidays.

Perfect place to eat local food. I don't speak Spanish, but the staff is funny in communicating with their customers. You must eat here if you are in the area. The best coziest local restaurant you must have been to!!

We just had a really great lunch at Cafe al Mar. We were warmly welcomed and had a beautiful sea view. We had a good selection of tapas - papas arrugades y mojo Verde (canary wrinkled potatoes), queso frito (breadcrumbed, camembert style cheese and jam) and padron peppers. We also received some bread and aioli which was a nice surprise. Fast, friendly service, we would return to try more dishes!

A cute small place just near the beach. Food was delicious and the staff was nice and friendly. Most of the time you have to wait to get a table, but it was not an issue for us.

The frying oil was days old, the salat even older. Bad quality. Felt not very good after my dinner there, and sick in the morning. Beware!
