Came here for the first time earlier today, and was delightfully surprised by how good the food was. The server and chef brought a sense of positive energy and intimacy to the space.
I ordered the Vegan Scramble, and it was quite tasty. I'm not even a fan of potato wedges (or oily food in general), yet somehow those ended up being enjoyable too. I think the food is made with a sense of care, and it reflects in the result.
The main criticism I have is that the food here was both overpriced and underportioned, relative to what could be purchased at a typical restaurant. For example, the $23 dish I ordered would have only cost $19 at another restaurant, with the latter being twice the portion size. Similarly, a smoothie here costs $14, and comes in a much smaller glass than I'd find at other restaurants I frequent. The cost of the food relative to its portion size, rather than its culinary quality, is the main deterrent for me returning here in the future.
Overall, I'd recommend people check out this restaurant, but be wary of the higher prices and smaller portions when doing so.
