Café am Peterstor by Rough Surface Coffee - Regensburg

Been around Bayern testing coffee at places recommend by different coffee pages. This is one out of two places that got 5 out of 5 stars from me when it came to the coffee I tried. I also had lunch there. It was tasteful and original. The service also was top! If you are in Regensburg, you have to visit this place.

A really lovely experience at the cafe today! The food and coffee was exceptional! The server was so nice and I was able to sit in a quiet cozy corner with my laptop to finish some projects while I enjoyed my breakfast. 10/10 service and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling through Regensburg!

Love the tiramisu cheesecake and the chai latte was incredible as well!

The location is lovely. Inside and outside. However the staff are not so friendly and it took about an hour for the server to take my order. The food arrived quickly in comparison to that and it was tasty. As was the Coffee. However I would have liked the poached egg and the vegetables to be served warm. The portion is pretty stuffing.

The greatest cafe in Regensburg, period. Absolute perfected third wave specialty coffee with equal excellence served in their brunch fair. This place is SPECIAL, and please do not miss the pancakes - some of the best you will ever taste. Thank you for the incredibly kind service 🤍

Great food! The Miso eggs Benedict was delicious. As was the pastries. Also great service. Will be definitely coming back.

Awesome brunch! This café was taken over by some new owners a few months ago and the quality of the food is really good. A lot of classics with a small twist that make them special, like the pancakes or scrambled eggs. The staff is also very nice and really knows about what they are selling, so they can really give good recommendations. We tried the eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, the cashews yoghurt with caramelized banana and the cheesecake pancakes and everything was absolutely delicious.

Very cozy. Perfect for brunch, lunch, or just a cup of coffee or tea. I really recommend the bread with duck breast and poached egg.
