Café am Peterstor by Rough Surface Coffee - Regensburg

Superb coffee choice and flavours. Excellent cheesecakes. Staff helpful. Lovely place to sit outside whilst waiting for your train home, only a short walk back to the station.

Been around Bayern testing coffee at places recommend by different coffee pages. This is one out of two places that got 5 out of 5 stars from me when it came to the coffee I tried. I also had lunch there. It was tasteful and original. The service also was top! If you are in Regensburg, you have to visit this place.

A really lovely experience at the cafe today! The food and coffee was exceptional! The server was so nice and I was able to sit in a quiet cozy corner with my laptop to finish some projects while I enjoyed my breakfast. 10/10 service and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling through Regensburg!

The coffee was great, and of course they let me and my friend stay a long time. But it is better if you can sit outside - the inside seating (it was a drizzly day) was crowded and we were near the door, which wasn't so pleasant. It's a pleasant crowd and a popular place, especially because of its location.

The location is lovely. Inside and outside. However the staff are not so friendly and it took about an hour for the server to take my order. The food arrived quickly in comparison to that and it was tasty. As was the Coffee. However I would have liked the poached egg and the vegetables to be served warm. The portion is pretty stuffing.

The greatest cafe in Regensburg, period. Absolute perfected third wave specialty coffee with equal excellence served in their brunch fair. This place is SPECIAL, and please do not miss the pancakes - some of the best you will ever taste. Thank you for the incredibly kind service 🤍

I seldom rate or comment about cafes or restaurants. They have to be either explicitly bad or perfectly good. Rough surface is the latter one. I visited it twice for breakfast and I have to admit, that I hardly can remember a better breakfast in my conscious life. The food was mind-blowing, the products in my dishes were combined with love and prepared with a deep culinary expertise.
