Fantastic food, ambience and service. Our large party showed up with no reservation (we apologize, we had just arrived in town) and we still received first class treatment despite being fully booked. Food was so fresh and everything we had was great quality and arranged perfectly. Highly recommend.

Walked into this restaurant on a wet and windy day and was greeted with friendly efficiency. Specials explained and orders taken. We were very happy with our selection. Flavoursome, yet delicate. Nice touch at the end with some coffee ice-cream to finish off.

We appreciate that all dishes got extra touch of presentation. Great value ! Cosy atmosphere. We ordered many food as we were a big group, therefore I can tell you those impressed me the most: ★Traditional polish soup ★Starter/salads all pretty good ★Pork cheeks ★Carrot cake ★ Any kind of fruit tea, never seen anywhere serve tea in this beautiful way!! Creative. The things that not so good is Pasta. We ordered one meat and one vegetarian option, both not tasty... considering this is a restaurant that claiming it has Italian touch, they should do better. apart from pasta, the rest are pretty nice. So overall I give 4★

I finally found a restaurant named after me😀. I think it is the first time I went after Lonelyplanet's recomendation and I loved it. My wife said it was the best fish in years (that kinda hurt, because I cook fish at home) and my duck....wow. I noticed that Poles use more duck than chicken, because you can always find duck on the menu.

We’ve only stopped for some nibbles and a couple of cocktails but I really do recommend it even if it’s just for a drink! The staff was super friendly - honestly, we couldn’t stop talking about how great they were. Tapas for 2 was great and all the cocktails were properly good! 🙌🏻 and it’s quite cute outside with the booths!

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable! Definitely a must try ! We are from Florida US and loved the place !

Had a great dinner here for 5 of us! We had a forest mushroom dish and a fig dish for starters.I had the veal sided with couscous and a lovely sauce. Others in our group had pork knuckle, duck confit, and pork cheeks. Finished off with ice cream coffee. Highly recommended - the fellow in the front of the house provided expert recommendations and service. Definitely would go back

The service here was incredible and the waiters were very helpful! The food was also delicious and they had many homemade cakes to choose from for dessert, a delightful stop at Czestochowa!

Great food and a nice country style atmosphere. They cook traditional dishes with delightful twists. A nice variety of food and drinks. The pizza is solid too but if you really want a treat try the duck. It's absolutely devine. Nice staff and the location is very close to parks by Jasna Gora which offers a nice chance for a stroll before or after a nice meal, especially for a date. It's always a good day when you eat at Dobre Rok (good year)

I live in the US for most of the time, but I have family who lives in Częstochowa, so I come here almost every year to every few years. I've been to plenty of restaurants in Poland, but Dobry Rok is the restaurant that I always come back to every time. Their French Onion soup is a perfect starter for your meal. As for entrees, there are plenty of delicious options! Even as a pescatarian (a vegetarian who eats seafood) I never fail to find a delicious dish that fits my diet guidelines. I'd totally recommend this restaurant to anyone and to you as well!

We ate lunch here last week while on a tour of Poland. There were 23 of us in our group. The service was quick and attentive. We had a delicious soup, salad and gnocchi/beef main course and babka for dessert. Everything was wonderful and I would recommend it highly!
