Where to Eat on the Russian River - AFAR

"A low-key, artsy waterside café located where the Russian River flows into the Pacific; while the pour-over coffee and sandwiches are solid, the setting—Adirondack chairs on the lawn, serene water views, and occasional weekend live music—is the main draw for lingering with a snack and a drink." - Jennifer Maerz, Jessie Beck

Wowowow so happy to have stumbled into this gem. I don’t think it gets better than this- the coffee was AMAZING, food was SO fresh, and the scenery was brilliant. The team manning the shop were icing on the cake- Bianca was so easygoing and helpful with food allergy questions. You could honestly spend all day here, so relaxing and hospitable.

This place is special. I came early before it was crowded…very misty, little breezy. No line and my choice of chairs. Heaven! The coffee and avocado toast were delicious, (watch out for the little black birds…especially the big fat bully, they will try to steal your goodies) there were hummingbirds in the giant lupine, it made my whole morning. Come early for a little solitude and bring a jacket. I can’t wait to come back.

We've stopped here a couple of times now, really good food, and the view is also very nice. Most of the tables are outside, but they also have some covered ones in case the weather isn't nice. They mostly have sandwiches, a few salads, and a wide coffee selection. Great stop if you're in the area

My boyfriend and I love stopping by here for breakfast whenever we stay at the Jenner Inn. The food is always local, fresh, and delicious. We usually order coffee and a sandwich, but we tried the crab melt once and it was amazing! Since it’s the only café in town, expect a bit of a wait — but it’s definitely worth it. One morning while we were eating breakfast, we even spotted otters by the water, which made the experience even more special.

Nice spot for coffee. Order inside, get your coffee through window outside. Seating under roof out of the wind or more outside with better view on Russisn river and kayaking people. Would recommend trying this place.

We had a delicious breakfast here this morning. The poached eggs on toast were delightful! The Cafe Mocha was very delicious! Just the right amount of chocolate. It's a small cafe with outdoor seating, some covered seating, and great views.

This is the perfect space to relax on an early weekend morning. A sunrise drive up Highway 1 drops you right into the center of Jenner. On the banks of the Russian River, Cafe Aquatica serves delicious local roasted coffee, sustainably sources dishes, and has a relaxing atmosphere that is easy to get lost into. The isolated aspect of the town really allows you to sit and enjoy the scenery, or maybe sit in one of their loungers while reading a great book. Highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for some time off the road while traveling historic Highway 1!
