The toasties were slightly smaller than I expected, and the pistachio iced latte was a bit sweeter than I would’ve liked. However, the dessert I had was quite tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the environment was cosy yet busy. The seats we had were a bit uncomfortable — there were no cushions, and one of us couldn’t lean back due to wall-mounted drawings. That said, we didn’t have to wait for a table, even as a group of five, which was a nice surprise.

Great service! We had the sweet potato and black barley soup with two of their specialty grilled cheeses. Hands down the best lunch I’ve had in Cambridge. Coffee was rich in taste and very affordable in cost. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re around.

Long Time No See I had a very bad experience in this cafe many years ago. Beetroot hot chocolate something. My first visit and just once, then I didn't return. Found that the cafe was very different than I remembered therefore give it a go. Nothing tasted horrible. Clean and tidy place with a clean toilet. Nothing to complain about. Impressed that they heat the cheese straw for us. You know, some of the 'popular' cafes in Cambridge refuse to heat bread and pastries for the customers. I think it will not be my last visit.

Trying this cafe for the first time for brunch. I'm excited to see new food & drinks menu compared to other cafes that seem repetitive, this one feels more unique and has its own identity. Everyone is friendly. Although our food order came late (they forgot to cook it), it was resolved quickly. We ordered the seasonal menu Rose Earl Grey Latte and it was hands down the best drink I've tried so far while in Cambridge. Honestly my day was made after my drink came, so that's why I'm not that upset even when my food order was late. It was a seasonal menu and I hope they make it to the general menu because I will be coming back for more! Another downside is I wish the cafe could be cleaner with the floor. But the food was great.

Small, friendly and quirky cafe. Can’t say a lot about food there since we only stopped for a cup of coffee after a walk :) Our coffee was good though not spectacular and I also loved that they serve pastel de nata. It’s one of my favorite pastries of all time and I always order them if possible. Was really happy they have it at Abantu! Other than that, loved how nice the staff members were and enjoyed looking at all quirky small decorations and plants. Lights were one of the downsides, too bright and uncomfortable for my taste.

Lovely indie coffee shop with a good food menu with #vegan options. In the pictures The Vegan brunch option which was delightful however the sour bread was close to impossible to cut with the knife provided. The poached eggs my friend had were perfectly cooked. My lavender and apple latte was an interesting experience although next time I’ll try their coffees instead. #DearLocal

The chiller is more interesting than the simple family-style lunch and brunch menu. Lovely mushroom pie. Crunchy shell and smooth savory filling. Delicious selection of salads. The options for protein is limited though (bacon). Coffee is better than expected. The skinny latte was still creamy and has a beautiful layer of foam and a hint of sweetness. The relaxing space attracts people across age groups. Might come back when I seek healthy salads.

We came here for afternoon tea today for my birthday, staff was friendly enough however we did have spoiled cream with our scones, I wasn’t too sure what the off taste was until after smelling the cream Pots and trying the cream on its own to realise it was sour. I did mention to one of the young girls behind the counter but they didn’t seem too interest. Hopefully it’s only just gone off and we do not get poorly from it but I would recommend them chucking the cream out. Starting to feel a little nauseous but maybe it's me overthinking it 🤞🏽
