Cafe at Bobby

Fantastic atmosphere, good coffee and almost comically bad food. The avocado on my toast was so sour, it was almost bitter, the toast itself was meh. Surprising, given how beautiful it looked. So great place to have coffee, but skip the food.

Great selection from the kitchen, and the Bourbon Latte was incredible. Large serving sizes, breakfast burrito was filled with several eggs and the breakfast potatoes were soft but crispy. Small tables at the cafe but there were comfortable sitting areas in the hotel lobby

This was the cutest place! The coffee is AMAZING! I got a latte with white mocha and it was probably one of the best ones I've ever had. Not to sweet! The service was great as well! Enter the Cafe on 4th Ave, Google maps doesn't direct you real well on how to get in there.

Chic and upscale coffee shop that actually manages to serve good strong coffee. It’s so surreal to sit in their courtyard and sip on that coffee in the morning. You can usually find tourist or corporate crowd there staying at the downtown hotels nearby. If you’re driving there, be prepared to pay for street parking if you find a spot in downtown. They do have various options for pastries there and quick bites if you’re looking for that. The vibe is very relaxed and is usually pretty quiet.

Their spinach and feta croissant and occasional dogs is the only reason I let my company downtown pressure me into coming to the office 3 days a week 😂 and their coffee is pretty good. Plus laid back but modern atmosphere.

Great breakfast. Nice personal. Good service. My morning was beautiful.

It's really nice place. The drinks are more flavored 😋. The guys over there so friendly. They played with my dog and give her bobby cups (wipe cream) .

Cafe was nice.Good vibe, a little on the price side, but it is nashville, but very beautiful.

I stayed at the Bobby during part of my trip to Nashville, and stopped by the cafe for some morning peps a couple of times while I was in the city. In general, one of Bobby's strong points is their onsite amenities - in addition to this cafe, they have a bar and restaurant off the lobby and another bar that faces Printer's Alley. Anyway, the Cafe has a variety of breakfast and lunch options - nothing too out of the ordinary but a solid offering. I really liked the aesthetics - the entire cafe faces the front of the hotel and the seating area juts out into a lovely outdoor area. I picked up a cappuccino during my stay - it was pretty good and the service was fast and friendly. Overall, for a hotel spot Cafe at Bobby delivers the goods - I'm not sure I would necessarily seek this place out if I wasn't staying at this hotel, but I wouldn't rule it out either.

Beautiful atmosphere, the food was delicious and my server Abanoub went out of his way to make my experience exceptional! I highly recommend!

Great Barista coffee. Australian here so total coffee snob .Yes they have different milks. Gorgeous venue , nice breakfast menu. Great location . Nice staff . What more could you want .

We stayed at the Bobby and had coffee here for breakfast. The staff was super nice. They opened at 7. we were there at 630 due to our schedule and they served us. It was a pretty cool summer morning and we enjoyed our coffee outside on the patio

If I had my own hotel, I would make it sparkle too just like my old habbo rooms... I went in here for a coffee... Just wanted to show the awesome coffee bar and bathrooms some love but be aware... The doors are magical ones... I'm sure for the price all is good... The property is clean as well and there is always a nice crowd especially at breakfast... Woo

Absolutely loved it here!! Our server was so wonderful to interact with, which usually either makes or breaks the experience. Coffee is perfection here!! I chose pour over. Food was wonderful and flavors were exquisite. Beautiful decor. Modern and elegant feel. Didn't want to leave. :) Coming back soon!!

Staff: great. Very kind and attentive. The patio area is very cute and a nice space to sit and have your morning coffee. I enjoyed my iced coffee and no complaints on that. I got the ham,egg, and cheese on croissant and was not a fan. The egg was over fried (like a legit crisp of oil on the egg), the ham was quite fatty, but the biggest let down was that the sandwich was not on a croissant but on a brioche bun?

The best rose-matcha latte I've ever had. Wished it came in a larger size. So refreshing in the heat. The one they have is a tall size for $5 Outdoor patio is cute decorated hipster Service is lacking takes a while for them to pay attention.

Solid, solid lunch. Located in The Bobby hotel but ate outside at the café, which also has inside dining. Right now as they open after Covid they have a limited menu which I think is a good thing because I can focus on specific dishes and do them "right". I ordered the Greek quinoa salad and added salmon and it's some of the best salmon I've had in a very, very long time on any dish. As I expected, the portion sizes were on the smaller side but the quality was elevated. I began with the fennel & tomato soup which was a hot soup, on a summer day, but it was fantastic with deep flavor. I asked the server to bring the soup out first but, of course, it all came out at the same time. Not a huge "thing" but I think people are trying to work out kinks. The service was very friendly. By the way, as of this review, the rooftop bar is now open noon to 11 o'clock- Thursday-Sunday. Overall an excellent experience that had a few kinks but I will return.

We were looking for a quick bite to eat, The hamburger was really good, nice soft bun, flavorful and my wife loved the French onion soup. Service was good, the only thing that could use improvement were the uncomfortable metal chairs inside.

Beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere. We stopped to have a relaxing morning coffee on the outdoor patio. The barista was able to make a flat white, and it was properly done! Very cool place and would come back again.

Worst customer service ever.Opened late,had no charge for a $20.Coffee cold and had to wait for cream.

I agree with previous reviews that the service isn't great (just a little slow). I only sat for a chai latte & muffin - the latte was very good and the muffin was standard. A little pricey for a cafe, but hotels tend to have higher food prices.

Really awesome burger - one of the best in Nashville - and the fries are fantastic! I am a huge fan of the Tavern at Bobby and Bobby Cafe.

Poor customer service. This is a Beautiful spot in Nashville with unfortunately rude staff. The barista was difficult to work with. Didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, had a terrible attitude throughout serving us. We were traveling from out of town and just hoping for a nice place to relax, but the poor attitudes really killed the vibe.

Service is absolute key to me and the service here is !! I work downtown and am new to Nashville and have been trying to find my daily go to coffee shop. I've been to the Bobby and the dream and the service has both been terrible at their coffee shops. I don't mind paying $7 for a coffee everyday but I definitely will not if the barista's service is under par. I didn't get a hello or even eye contact at that. I asked a question about the coffee and I got a short "yep." Also no thank you or have a good day when I left. This may seem overly critical but there are certain things I'd except as a paying customer and the Bobby just didn't have the standard "expensive boutique hotel" service skills I'd expect. Save your time and money and go to Noelle's coffee shop, their baristas are helpful and kind and their coffee is great!

I really wanted to like this place. They have a great setup and ambience, and a great location. The food is super pricey and the wait times are insanely long. I waited over 30 minutes for them to bring out two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and they messed up the order (one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of strawberry - literally the opposite of what I ordered) - keep in mind there was almost no one in the cafe, so it's not like it was rush hour. Coffee isn't very good, not worth the price. And the avocado toast was a major regret; it was $14, took them 20 minutes to bring it out and the whole thing was soggy and cold. The vegan burger was actually very good, and their fries are pretty good too - the one part of the meal that went well.

Cute causal place inside the chic Bobby hotel. Friendly staff. I had the iced rose matcha tea. Delicious and refreshing.

Went here today on my lunch break, was starving and looking for something healthy since everything in the arcade tends to be very greasy. The service was so slow! I waited over 40 minutes for a Cesar salad and avocado toast. The table seated next to me didn't get their breakfast food until 11:30 even though they had ordered over an hour ahead of me and breakfast quit being served at 11. The manager (I am assuming) came over and kicked them out instead of hearing their frustrations. She then came to my table 10 minutes later after I finally got my food and said she would take care of my meal. After waiting 30 more minutes and trying to get their attention and continued to be ignored I decided my refund just wasn't worth it. The food is delicious but not worth the wait or the money.

This has got to be one of the most gorgeous spaces to eat downtown, and is unfortunately consistently some of the worst service. Ever. Every time I eat here, or try to eat here, it takes 5+ minutes for a server to acknowledge our table. After they drop off a menu, it takes another 10 for them to come back with water and take our order. More often than not, they're out of something. Once I ordered steak frites medium rare and the steak came out raw. Still mooing. Someone needs to do something about this. It's a waste of a beautiful space and it deserves to be better.

Really great coffee. The honey and lavender ice latte and the horchata and sweet cream latter were amazing. The staff is really nice and got us our coffees really quickly!

This experience wasn't very good. The food was ok once we could eat it. We had major health issues with the first set of food which was made right by the manager who bought our lunch in the end. We will try one of the other experiences at the Bobby again soon (and most use the same kitchen). But for now I'm giving only 3 stars.
