Cafe at Klom Klorm

I never had a favourite Thai restaurant until I tried Cafe at Klom Klorm's Crispy Fish Tom Yum Noodle Soup. I only had it delivered but the soup was always hot and all the ingredient separated which give me the option to have the fish on the side rather than in the soup directly.

We passed by this place on our way to Wyckoff Hospital in Brooklyn and at the time they were still closed as it was early in the morning. Since we still wanted to try them out, we ordered delivery through Uber Eats and decided to try their Thai Iced Tea with tapioca pearls and Thai Iced Coffee, as well as their pastries: Ube white chocolate cookies, Butterscotch cookies, and Caramel bars. Packaging: 10/10 super cute with stickers that say “Baked with Love” and well sealed for freshness Taste: 9/10 - we loved everything, the cookies were a bit too sweet for our liking but otherwise tasted fresh and unique. Ube flavor is sometimes tough to bring out in pastries and they nailed it with the cookies. We’ll definitely re-order the drinks and Ube cookies!

Ordered the Thai bobba ice tea and the Thai coffee bobba. Both were incredibly sweet. And did not taste like tea nor coffee. Ended up throwing it out. Bad flavor and overly sweet.

Best Thai food @ both restaurant and cafe . My favorite is the Bangkok Panang beef. Plus Delicious cookies. Yum to chocolate chips and lemon raspberry

The food is always good, but for me, the best is their boba drinks. The boba green tea is addictive!!

Please please please make more Thai tea butterscotch cookies. These are the best flavor I’ve ever had (i try all the cookies haha). Please 💕 ka

Got the dancing chicken spicy and it was actually spicy for once. Many of the Thai restaurants in New York advertise spicy but can’t really do it justice. The chicken was incredible. Will order again for sure. Had to take a star off for the Raspberry Lemon cookies. Flavour was really good but it was a soggy cookie. Not soft, beyond that, soggy. But maybe it was just an off day for them. Also gave Pink Milk Boba a try. It’s an acquired taste very good but also very sweet. Can’t wait to try their other flavours.

A cute, cozy cafe with bubble tea and Thai food. Their Thai pink milk is made from snake fruit! Not sure what it was going to taste like, but it ended up tasting like strawberry milk to me. Their pineapple shrimp fried rice was very flavorful. I would have liked a little more pineapple but they gave a generous amount of shrimp. They also have packaged on-the-go items that they make daily in-store. Their banana bread bites was really good! If this cafe wasn't so far, this would be one of my go-to places for sure!

Ugh...where do I begin. I got takeout from Cafe at Klom Klorm and well it was just really, really bad. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but it was just that bad that I can't see myself ever coming back. I order the crispy chicken sesame ginger and Thai fish tacos. The former had completely overcooked vegetables and completely undercooked chicken (a big health issue, uh hello?!) and the latter was just severely underwhelming. After the undercooked chicken that literally was still raw, I lost my appetite. For your safety, please don't go here or be very careful eating anything unless you like being sick.

I ordered this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. There were some hits and a few misses, but I hope it was just an isolated day. The items I ordered: Crispy Chicken Sesame Ginger - The flavor of the sesame ginger sauce was really really good, but the pieces of fried chicken bites were old and stale. I wish it came with the option of Fried fish instead of fried chicken. They did not skimp on the amount of toppings, which is a plus! Thai Grandma Noodles - Very unique tasting rice noodle dish. The ground chicken was shaped like a cutlet and then deep-fried perfectly. The chicken definitely needed the Thai chili sauce, otherwise, it was bland. Side order of Fried Fish - This was delicious! Crispy exterior and juicy interior.

A nice, cozy cafe with bubble tea and Thai food. There's limited outdoor seating, but they have a clean and spacious bathroom in the back. Their Thai pink milk (5/5) is snake fruit flavored. The wonton soup- filling, satisfying, delicious The ube cookies- SO addictive (this is the main reason I keep ordering from this place) The crispy ginger chicken- ... the flavors are there, and they're good. But I couldn't even stomach the "chicken" it was just dry crunchy gristle. No meat whatsoever on my plate. Don't order that.

For whatever reason, the Thai food delivery and I have been seriously BEEFING. My last three attempts to order delivery were so bad--one was so terrible that I called the restaurant to give direct feedback. But, the other day, after a prayer or two to the Thai food delivery gods, I came across the wonderful reviews for Klom Klorm and decided to give it a try. My prayers? They were answered. I easily had one of the best Thai dishes I've had in awhile. I ordered the (and imma intentionally put this in caps) SPICY 3 HERBS FRIED RICE + FRIED FISH. It was truly love at first bite. It's been a minute since I've experienced that. Incredibly flavorful. Perfectly spicy (although, if you're big on spice, you may want to ask for more--for me, it was perfect), fresh, fish was still crispy & seasoned to perfection, and it had all the right flavor combo (spicy, salty, sweet, umami). The presentation was also lovely for takeout/delivery and the portion was right for the price. Oh, and the icing on the cake (well, cookie), was the pack of homemade snickerdoodle cookies that I ordered. They were delicious! I do wish they allowed you to select your number of cookies. On Uber Eats you just have the option to buy a $7 pack. Which, I initially thought was a lot, but the pack came with 8 or so cookies (my waist is complaining, not my pocket or tastebuds). Highly recommend! Can't wait for more! (Not my best photo. I was way too hungry to worry about flicks that day.)

I enjoy trying dishes from here. Something different and the right amount of spice you want.

I am going to make this review short, because I know I already have reviewed this place but it disappeared. I want to say I first tried their Tom Yum soup with the fried fish and I really enjoyed the fish, but I haven't ever been that big of a fan of Tom Yum, so I wish this came with a different broth, because the fish and noodles were great. The next time I ordered, I got their Fish with steamed veggies with rice and this was a good option, but really still wish they have a noodle option with the fish without the tom yum.

I love Klom Klorm, I have been coming here for 3 years and it is such a cute place. I also go to their restaurant storefront next door Klom Klorm. I am not sure but I believe it is a family run business. Everyone is so nice and make the place welcoming. I typically go to Cafe at Klom Klorm to get a boba tea. I believe they just added this to the menu in the summer. It is so delicious. Everytime I go it's made with perfection, the milk is perfect and the boba's are thoroughly made. Some places make boba tea where the boba's are not cooked thoroughly but theres are always perfect. Also, I have had the wings off of their menu and it was delicious. Highly suggest them overall if you want a light bite.

Interesting bakery shop. Cafe Klom Klorm is Klom Klorm's casual, take-out dining cafe with sweets and homey Thai dishes. Situated next to their modern main restaurant on the side of the street, Cafe Klom Klorm has several small seating tables and window seating. My review is only for the desserts as we were craving Thai desserts that night. Alas, it wasn't even Thai/Asian desserts that they made! I was expecting something with Thai ingredients or inspirations, but they serve the usual American desserts like slices of chocolate cake or carrot cake, which we ended up ordering. Although tasty, it wasn't anything memorable but very basic. I'm not sure if they make it in-house either. The drinks are also not like those in Elmhurst's Thai restaurants (think butterfly blue pea drinks or some kind of Thai tea concoction) for comparison. We felt we ended up going to just a regular bakery with hot Thai foods but with limited American desserts. If you're looking for honey toasts, khanom, or something else Thai for your sweet tooth, they do not serve it here. They did sell their own cookies which looked good for reasonable pricing. Bathroom available. Clean! Accepts cash and card. Open decently late. Bon appetit!

Just absolutely amazing. I legit cannot get enough of this place and is one of the few that I'm excited to try something new every time because each time I do it's equally great. Food is creative, fun and fresh. Such a great balance with the main restaurant doing traditional Thai classics so consistently well. My husband ordered the crispy chicken meal and an order of shrimp dumplings tonight for delivery . The food was horrible , we ended up throwing it away I couldn't feed that trash to my 4 year old . You all need to do better , people work hard for their money stop serving such subpar food that you won't feed to your family .

A quick dinner fulfilled by this unassuming restaurant. The staff recommended the Tom yum soup and dumplings which are pretty good. The service was fast and friendly. A little gem in the area. Definitely worth to try out.

Always eat at Klom Klorm. Very spicy but good. Tried Cafe Klom Klorm "crispy ginger chicken".....trash.

We probably order from Cafe @ Klom Klorm a few times a month. The chicken wings are great and the pork belly is delicious. The ground beef spicy basil is pretty good. Just wish you could order from the cafe and restaurant (Klom Klorm) in the same order. I really like the chicken wings at the cafe and would rather have pad thai as a main dish.

I tried this due to a recommendation from a friend. I got the grandma Thai noodles with garlic, broccoli, crispy chicken, eggs and carrot. My friend got the chicken and rice. We both got lunch specials which was about $12. I chose the spicy salad which I didn't like much. Something about the flavor wasn't my favorite but the main dish was great. The flavors had some complexity, it tasted unique and they gave quite a decent amount of food as well. I was left pretty full. The noodles were unlike most Thai noodles I've had but it was pretty awesome and I would love to get it again soon.

We have been to the sister restaurant next door but finally decided to give the cafe a try. Love the menu selection they have here, it pairs nicely with the restaurant. It's similar items but more interesting combinations and great prices. The duck salad was probably my favorite out of everything we got, so hearty and filling for a salad. The only disappointment was the shrimp shaomai which were just a little off in texture. Everything else was flavorful, delivery was quick & everything was hot & exactly as expected. Definitely ordering again.

I regularly ate from here when I lived in Brooklyn. Some of the best Asian fusion I've had at this price point and the only so far that I ever regularly ate at. - Crispy Fish with 3 Flavor Sauce: this is absolutely not your regular sweet & sour (& spicy) sauce at any Americanized Asian restaurant. The sauce was refined and smelled really good with I think accents of fresh citrus/fruit peel (even a day or two after I tossed the extra out ... yes I just said that). I'm really curious how it was made. Fish was well made and had the minimal batter needed to make something crispy good. - Crispy Pork Belly Spicy Basil : as good as it gets for a dish like this

I ordered the Salmon Teryaki and it arrived totally raw! I won't be ordering from them again.

Food is on the sweet side but the choices here remind me of Thailand. I always get the green salad, egg noodles with pork and wonton, crispy pork basil with rice. This place deserve 100/10 on flavors and quality. I'm sure anything else on the menu tastes just as great

Great find! Wanted to try a different Thai restaurant and this popped up on my delivery app. Food was tasty, big portions, careful packaging. The fried fish with the spiced fried rice was great. The fried rice was enough for 3-4 moderate eaters and had a kick which complimented the lightly-seasoned fish! The fried fish was not so crispy, of course, because it's delivery, but you can see that the fish was cooked right and the breading light. I just popped it in the oven at low temp for about 15 minutes and it crisped right back up without drying. The dancing chicken was proper spicy which I certainly appreciate and tasty. Again there was a lot of rice. Will definitely order again! So many interesting dishes on the menu that's not at other Thai places or is a twist of traditional dishes.

Best hiding spot ever !! Wanna have a snack but end up order early dinner. Vibe is so cozy and relaxing Staffs are super friendly Foods tastes of all quality, fresh and homemade feel. Price point is perfect way reasonable than any other Thai places around. We ordered Ice Coffees, Blueberries cheesecake, chocolate cake. Plus instant noodle salad - SPICY but wow what a perfect balance of meats and vegetables. Everyone is highly recommended to try this dish Another dish is dancing chicken with basil sauce. It is ground chicken over rice and with fried egg on side. It compliment your meal to reach supreme happiness !! All in all if we are in the area, we definitely dine here

This place is fantastic! I think I might like it more than their main restaurant in front. This place has a totally different menu than Klom Klorm. Mostly lighter stuff like pork belly and rice, and duck and rice. They just added lunch specials this week for $10 with an appetizer, and they are all generous portions. But, the two best items I've had are their roasted pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup, which is absolutely amazing, and their new spicy tom yum soup with fried fish, which is hands down the best soup I've ever had anywhere in Bushwick. Seriously, look at my photos! Go get it!

If you are looking for authentic Thai Street food, Cafe Klom Klom is a hidden gem. We live in Queens and we can literally get any type of Thai food we can get but drove to Brooklyn to eat here. Their roasted pork wonton egg noodle soup reminds me of street food I used to get late night after studying at the library back in Thailand. I was searching for this all over New York and I finally found it here. Their larb fried chicken reminds me of KFC in Thailand. Their brown sugar bubble tea is surprisingly comparable to Tiger Sugar. I was told roasted pork belly over rice is their best selling item on the menu. I'm going to try that next. There is another place called Klom Kolm next door to this Cafe which confused us and we went in there at first. After seeing their menu we decided to leave and go to Cafe Klom Kolm instead. It was the best decision ever because their food and service blows our mind. If you want real authentic unpretentious Thai food, go there, you won't regret it. The food was so good we forgot to take pictures. I'll upload them next time. They are also on UberEats and run sales all the time. Check them out

I've had dinner as take-out from the restaurant next door but yesterday I ordered lunch from the cafe on Seamless. I ordered a prineapple shrimp fried rice which comes with 2 pieces of shrimp shumai on the side. The order came in a decent amount of time and I was surprised by how large the lunch special order was. That was a plus! Also, there was a good serving of shrimp which made it even better. The only down side was the amount of curry in the rice. I honestly was not expecting curry to be in it because I don't remember saying that in the description on Seamless. I also never had Asian curry before so I was taken back but after tasting it it was good. The only thing is that there's so much curry and cooked onions and fried shallots that that was a bit much for me. Besides that I would order from here again with some adjustments requested to my order.

I was in NYC for a girls trip and since my friend lives near Cafe at Klom Klom, I wanted to try. The aesthetic outside of cafe Klom Klom was so pretty. All greenery with tables and chair for you to sit. Since I just stopped by to grab something real quick, I grabbed the duck wrap. The duck was super soft and flavorful. The pineapples and veggies inside were also very flavorful. Definitely awesome on the spices. I couldn't give them 5 stars though because the wrap weren't cut in half so it was really hard for me to eat on the go. Otherwise, if I have the chance, I'll definitely come back to try other items at CKK.

I love them. They are super nice. All staffs is extremely LGBTQ+ friendly. The quality of the food is consistent & pretty awesome for the $10-15 price range. I often get the chicken over rice but with fried chicken instead for a small uncharged. Their homemade cookies are really tasty as well. I will recommend to eat there or pick it up. The food is warmer and fresher. When I get delivery the delivery person often has bad attitude and food is not as warm. Highly recommended Ps: on a personal note, I want to remind us costumers that we are under a Pandemic. And to be KIND with people working in restaurants as they are putting their life at risk for cooking your food

Ground Beef Spicy Basil is so good. Everything I tried is delicious from the Cafe. Always fresh and neatly packed. Staff is friendly and quick

This cozy cafe serves an amazing Thai style toast that I have never seen before! And its chives shrimp dumpling is incredibly great. Recommend to someone who just wants to take a short break from a long walk!

Ordered fried rice with chicken and plain rice with chicken and veggie stir fry delivery. Good value but taste very mediocre. None of the people finished the food.

The boba was amazing. Food was also good but the boba was the star, I got the Thai Iced Tea.

Delivery was very fast. However the food was very subpar. The fried chicken rice had very good flavor but the chicken was so dry. It was so rubbery that it was inedible. I understand it's supposed to be crispy but it was almost like chewing gum. I had the spicy basil beef and it was okay, a little salty. I also was surprised they use ground beef. The shrimp dumplings tasted good but were super oily. Overall the food needed some improvement.

This place has excellent Thai food! It's more of a to-go joint although there are some tables and chairs inside. I've ordered delivery several times and loved it. I keep ordering the same thing though so haven't tried everything on the menu. I've tried pork and shrimp dumplings with scallions, chicken wings with garlic, wonton soup with pork dumplings and shumai. All were delicious. I'll definitely order again and I highly recommend this place.

I had Royal salmon green curry OMG it was so good perfect spice. And wings always the best

Such a cute coffee/ bakery spot to spend a quiet afternoon on your laptop or to just meet with friends. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. I actually had a meeting here with my wedding planner and the servers arranged the tables so we can all fit and provided us with the WiFi. They serve baked good but also some food from their main restaurant on the corner, Klom Klorm. They banana muffins are delicious and so are their chocolate chip cookies. I love that their baked goods are homemade. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent take out experience. Affordable lunch specials, (especially for first time orders on seamless;). I got the grilled chicken lunch special w the spicy Thai salad. Everything was ready in about 15min and came out very hot and fresh. There was a good amount of food for a $10 lunch special, 2 large chicken breasts, rice, steamed veggies and a cute side salad. Teriyaki sauce was tasty although they used abit too much. Other than that, the take out food was excellent and I highly recommend the lunch special here if you're in the hood.

The duck wrap is amazing, as is the pork and wonton noodle soup. Really hearty helping. Flavor is very fresh and spot on, not at all to salty. Ordered from Uber eats twice already and it's been pretty consistent!

Really delicious food. Unlike any Thai I've had. Great service and beautiful ambiance. Love this place. Go here all the time. Their Cafe next door also makes it really easy for grabbing take out.

I eat here almost three to four times a week as I can't get enough of the great food! It's super easy to just order for pick up online and the food is always delicious! My favorite is the Crispy Chicken Long Hot, the chicken is super crispy and tender and tastes amazing with a hint of spice! If you're looking for healthy options they also have a ton of options like grilled chicken over rice that are delicious, but also healthy as well. I love coming here after a workout and getting a healthy filling meal! Come check this place out if you ever get the chance!

This place is hands down the best Thai food i've ever had in my life. Everything is so tasty and seasoned very well. I've ordered from here maybe 10 times in the past few months and its always very delicious.

Didn't expect it but, Cafe at Klom Klorm was definitely something else. It has a great vibe to it. If you don't know what to order, go with Thai Style Toast, it is just delicious. Staff is very polite and will help you with anything. I just wish I lived closer so I could be a regular at Cafe at Klom Klorm.

So good! I love their thai iced tea, & that bacon wrapped shrimp baby. Mhmmmm. Love that fish curry as well! My mom is from Burma and it really reminds me of her food...which is the highest praise for me. Definitely recommend :)

I love this spot! If you're looking for a quick, nice, casual dining experience this is definitely it! I loved the crispiness of the pork belly and it wasn't overwhelmingly spicy. Great dish!

Best delivery in Bushwick period. No fee. Professional. Consistent. Innovative. The soups are more hearty meals with (delicious) broth so don't think it's some wreak sauce.?

This place has an amazing and creative concept. Imagine you were just shoveling snow (for example) and then are really hungry and decide to go to grandma's house to regain some energy and she cooks you a hearty serving of meat with lots of veggies and and prepares you a fun sweet beverage, followed by cookies. TOTALLY hits the spot. The grandma noodle and the crispy ginger chicken are absolutely amazing. They both have that special Thai seasoning - the one that has a white pepper taste - that a really good place puts on their pad see ew (when you know, you know). And where else can one get Thai pinky milk tea? I love the fun bubble-gummy taste. Again - it's grandma's house so the food won't be boring and you won't go hungry. I love this place with all my heart.

It was very hard to find at first because I saw their restaurant. You have to go around the corner if you want to go to the cafe, but I tried one of their toasts and it was really good because it was crunchy where it need to be and fluffy where it needed to be. I also got the thai float and one other drink that I cant remember, but they were both increeediblyy sweet.

Not sure what happened here as I really like Klom Klom. I ordered lunch from the Cafe today and it was totally subpar. The crispy wings were flavorless and swimming in a sweet sauce that had no real flavor at all- no salt, acid, heat. Salmon tasted like it was frozen, very fishy. I will go get again. What a bummer.
