This place is simply extraordinary. At first glance, it might look like a tourist trap — but don’t be fooled. This restaurant has been around for decades, long before the area became popular. It carries the soul of old Athens, and the food is nothing short of spectacular.
You’ll find dishes here that are rare and deeply memorable — like sardines stuffed with herbs and wrapped in vine leaves, or exquisitely prepared fresh fish. I’ve heard the lamb is outstanding too, though I don’t eat meat myself. Even the salads are extraordinary!
The ambiance is warm and authentic, with beautiful artwork scattered throughout the space. And if you sit on the terrace, you’ll have a stunning view of the Acropolis glowing in the evening light. A magical dining experience — elegant, rooted, and full of surprises.
