The Bulgarian lady who owns the place will give a run for their money to any Spanish grandma’s cooking. Food prepared simply and with great flavor. We ordered bravas, sweetbreads, scallops and baby squid. She nailed all of it. This is a bar de barrio, so it doesn’t look like much, but the food will satisfy you. Also, try the tiramisú; she makes it with Bailey’s instead of Marsala. It actually works. I still prefer Marsala, but I won’t discount this as a valid alternative.
