We had a wonderful meal here our last night in Ponferrada 💜 The food was divine, especially the scallops, patatas bravas, and pimento peppers! It’s a great spot for anyone hiking the Camino or just passing through 😊

Unassuming restaurant is a hidden gem. Mariyanka and her daughter Ivelina run a tight ship serving delicious meals. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Try their dish of the day.

The Bulgarian lady who owns the place will give a run for their money to any Spanish grandma’s cooking. Food prepared simply and with great flavor. We ordered bravas, sweetbreads, scallops and baby squid. She nailed all of it. This is a bar de barrio, so it doesn’t look like much, but the food will satisfy you. Also, try the tiramisú; she makes it with Bailey’s instead of Marsala. It actually works. I still prefer Marsala, but I won’t discount this as a valid alternative.

This is one of those places I’ll never forget. I’d especially not miss the zamborenos and the patatas bravas, and where possible focus on seafood because that’s where the dishes shined the most. Very special place

Un lugareño nos ha aconsejado este restaurante. Servidos por Ivelina, hemos comido de manera extraordinária un menú casero de 14 euros Relación calidad precio excelente. Servicio rápido. Somos caminantes que acabamos hoy la etapa. Amenazamos con volver el año que viene. Recomendado.

Pasamos de pura casualidad de camino al autobús y fue una comida riquísima. Está todo buenísimo y a muy buenos precios. Si viviésemos aquí volveríamos sin duda. Comimos el menú y la hamburguesa de pollo, se notaba todo casero y de calidad. Muy recomendable.
