Visited this charming café-restaurant and instantly fell in love with the place! The ambiance is beautiful and cozy, with a perfect mix of modern comfort and vintage charm that makes it feel welcoming and relaxing. The food here is absolutely delightful — every dish is packed with flavor and prepared with such care that it instantly feels like home. From rich, aromatic meals to perfectly balanced desserts, every bite transports you to a comforting, nostalgic space while still surprising your taste buds with unique flavors. The vintage décor and warm lighting add to the homely feel, and the overall vibe of the café is so positive and uplifting — it’s the kind of place that leaves you feeling happy and refreshed after just a short visit. Heard a lot of positive things about this place and I'm glad to say they was all true. The food here is good, a lot of hits and some misses, but overall a great experience. The place is a little small but still cosy, not as expensive as I was expecting. The staff is polite and helpful, insisting to set up an extra table next to ours for all the food we ordered. Things to try:- Pina Colada, Cheese Fondue, Carrot Cake, Ravioli, Peri Peri Prawns Things to improve:- Chicken Parmigiana (the crust was a little burnt, the noodles underneath were quite undercooked), New York Cheesecake (the cake was curdled and a little too dense) Would definitely visit again.

Basilico is a self-confident cafe style eatery specialising in foods with an international appeal. I've been here a couple of times and have always come out happy. A special shout-out to their interesting tea collection. Overall, a very good place with a youthful vibe and some good food to boot.

The food was great and so was the service. They got the food prepared in a prompt manner, and they have an amazing variety in their menu. I highly recommend you try eating from this cafe.

We were just randomly exploring new cafes when this one popped up in our search - and I’m so glad it did! The place looked so pleasant and inviting from the outside that we decided to give it a try. We didn’t even check the Google reviews, just thought, “Let’s take the risk and spend our money!” 😅 But honestly, it was worth every single penny! ✨ At first, looking at the prices, we were like, “Oh no, aaj hi salary khatam ho jayegi!” 😂 But after tasting the food, we knew we made the right choice. Every bite felt rich and high-quality - I usually don’t visit those ameero wali cafes, but this one truly made me feel fancy! ❣️ The food, service, and ambience were all amazing. Thank you for making our day so special - we totally loved it and can’t wait to visit again soon! 🌹😍

This has become a staple place for me every-time I visit Colaba Causeway. It is easily accessible and the food here is simply delicious especially their mud pie brownie. It’s quite affordable for a good meal in Colaba. They have a wide range of bakery options as well. Loved their Roast Chicken and Sandwiches. Their Coolers are so refreshing and amazing. The vibe and service is equally good.

Cafe Basilico is one of the most soothing spots you can enjoy your dining experience either with family or friends. Its a spot for pasta and meat lovers topping it up with an elegant variety of hot and cold drinks. It wins your heart immediately. Best to visit at odd hours like early morning or at midnight as its open till 1am and usually its empty. Staff and ambiance is amazing. Keep it up team!

We ate here after reading great reviews and in particular how good the veggie lasagne was. I'm not sure how to put this delicately, other than saying that if you like a barely vegetable cheesy stew, this place may be for you, but if you like a normal piece of veggie lasagne then steer well clear. We also had the cheese fondue which was adequate in taste but the tea light candle used to heat the fondue pot was heavily scented in a smell that reminded me of toilet spray, was very off puting to eat. For the expensive bill it was a very disappointing experience. Other than that, place seemed clean, staff were nice.
