Great experience overall! The historic ambiance is charming, and the staff are friendly and speak English well. Loved every single dish we ordered—delicious and well-presented. Only downside: the ice cream portion was huge for just two people. Still, highly recommended!

Amazing experience. Tasty food. Excellent service. My server spoke great English and gave really good recommendations of food and drink selection. I went there Saturday night and had almost no one in the restaurant. Everyone was nice and polite. Great live music with free one song request for the band. I will definitely come back again next time I'm in Jakarta. Highly recommend!

Instantly transport you back in time with dark wooden interior with colonial era touch on every corner. The establishment itself is elegant with a very attentive services. Food prices are on the higher side. There are plenty of seatings indoor but can be very occupied with tourists. Some area of seating can be loud with all the patrons chatting away while sipping tea.

A delightful dining experience! The restaurant offers a cosy and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was attentive and warm throughout our visit. While the prices are on the higher side, the food was absolutely delicious and worth every bite. A great spot for those who value quality and a comfortable setting.

A beautiful historical restaurant, which therefore attracts a lot of tourists. This is also reflected in the prices. The food tastes good. The service was excellent and fast. The only disappointment was the bathroom cleanliness, which fell short of what you'd expect from such a renowned restaurant.

beautiful historical restaurant, a true fine brunch. it doesn’t taste authentic because the taste might caters more towards foreigners, it lacks seasoning and strong flavor that indonesia food holds. i got nasi goreng, ribs, and satay and others, it was okay, not the best. i also got strawberry juice, white wine and bintang beer. for the price, a fine brunch price, i wouldn’t say this is worth it. but it’s a nice one time visit. beautiful restaurant nevertheless, architecture and decor pieces is such a masterpiece. aircon is nice since kota tua is very hot. service is nice and helpful.

I have been to the Cafe Batavia for twice. It is the most beautiful cafe in North Jakarta!! It has 2 floors and there are tons of photos and paintings inside, making the space very cozy. I recommend you stay here for a lunch or dinner. The price is also affordable for foreigners

This place is a bit a high-end café where they expect you to spend. The more you spend, the better location you will be offered for seating. However, all staff are friendly, speak good English n good to enjoy the atmosphere where you can learn the colonial history of this building. The coffee itself was just fine, not as wow as I'd expected for.
