Such a cute cafe! The atmosphere is lovely. They have delicious desserts and coffees. Great place for a girls night. Try the lady nana! So, so good! Edit: I visited right before Christmas and it seems portions are being cut for the crepes and cheesecake. Also, the manager has an attitude. Service is slow.

This is a famous crepe place. It is not too sweet, and you can taste both the crispiness and the richness. I like the cozy atmosphere with the interior decoration that is more neat than before. A cafe with delicious cappuccino!!

the savory crepes are to die for. expensive but its so worth it. slightly smaller than imagined but honestly filled me up. I got a drink and asked for less ice and even offered to pay extra and the worker said it's okay, still ended up with a cup full of ice with like 2 flavored ice and the bear on top. bear was delicious so I cant complain too much

This café is super cute with plenty of seating—perfect for hanging out with friends or getting some studying done. The desserts and drinks can be a little overpriced, but considering the cozy atmosphere and the quality time you get to spend chatting with friends, it feels worth it. The service is friendly and attentive. Definitely planning to come back!

This place seems to get mixed reviews, but I attended a child’s birthday celebration here for a party of 15. The party size in itself can already be problematic, but there were reservations and the staff was accommodating. Everything sounded good on the menu but I ordered a Jasmine Bear beverage and Mama’s savory crepe. The beverage was good but I finished my drink before the bear could melt. My crepe was also good. Wasn’t sweet due to the turkey and cheese on the inside. The salad on the side wasn’t really a big portion. You can eat the salad in one scoop. My friend’s daughter ordered a cookies & fudge cake and found a peanut in her cake. She has a nut allergy so when her friend went to inquire, staff told her friend that the slice of cake was next to a cake with nuts. How a peanut got into her cake, we aren’t sure. I would surely revisit again and try other items on their menu. The environment is very inviting. I can’t wait to see their other seasonal decor.

This cafe gives garden party vibes, and you probably wouldn't have known if you hadn't stepped in. I got the Orange Bianco Coffee, and the taste reminded me of creamsicle popsicles. There was some pulp along the bottom, which made for a really interesting drinking texture, but the coffee was really nice and creamy without being too sweet. The wait for the coffee wasn't too long. They also have a restroom, which is super convenient!

Although this place has been around for awhile, it was my first time here. This is a great spot for a sweet treat after dinner. I got the sweet forest crepe because I love green tea ice cream and it hit the spot. Although I do wish there were more strawberries other than the three slices in the photo. We also ordered the jasmine-love-a-lot bear tea which was really cute and my friends seemed to enjoy it. It's a nice cozy vibe in here and seating quickly freed up on a Friday night for a bigger group. It's convenient to order up front and pick up your order once the pager they give you goes off.

It's been a while since I've been to Cafe Bench, but we decided to stop by after dinner to grab dessert. The place was PACKED on a Friday night - all tables were filled, the side benches were filled, and the line was a few people deep. Thankfully, we snagged a table for 2. My fiance & I decided to share a Nutella Addict crepe and a regular hot chocolate, which came out to about $19. After ordering, it took around 25 minutes since they were really backed up. Honestly for $19, this was quite disappointing. The crepes are smaller than I remember and for about $11/$12, it wasn't really good value for its price point. Hot chocolate was mostly foam and milk, with a hint of cocoa only. For what it's worth, the inside is cozy though. Not sure I'd be dying to go back anytime soon, but good for those once in a while cravings.

This cafe was BEAUTIFUL and the employees were really nice. I got the Jasmine love-a-lot bear, cream lover, and strawberry shaved ice. Really cute drink and delicious crepe. The shaved ice was also really good and tasted like it was made from real strawberries. However, the shaved ice was a bit pricey considering the size. Adorable cafe and would come again.

I come here all the time for the drinks and to chat with friends. I usually come at peak hours, so I've only seen it loud and crowded. Therefore, I can only say that this is a place to chill and hang out with friends, not really to get work done. I love the drinks, though, they're so tasty and the crepes aren't bad either. If you order takeout, though, be prepared to wait a bit because they start making your drinks when you show up. I think it's because they want you to have a fresh. Another thing is that this place is gorgeous. I live in the neighborhood so I visit it year round, and, whoever the interior designer is, they really go ham and cheese on the decor. Like, in the summer time, they spruced it up with greenery. During Christmas, there were trees and lights and santas throughout the place.

I don't know where they get it! And the shave ice is so smooth and milky! JASMINE LOVE A LOT BEAR: so cute! Not that sweet! Bear will melt!! Price rating: 6/10 its not that bad for the food! I come to Cafe Bench easily once a month. Coffee is great and good quality. I've tried the cafe mocha, macchiato, lattes, lavender oat drink etc. Their home made whip cream is delicious! Food wise I've only ever had their Nutella crepe. It's super sweet. Service is quick you can dine in or take out. You get a buzzer while you wait. Baristas was nice and pleasant. I personally love how it's decorated different every month depending on the season on holiday. The tables and floors are clean and it always smells sweet and coffee like.

It was almost full house on a Saturday morning at 11am and they open at 10am... which tells me it should be good. . You order at the counter and they give you a pager and it beeps/buzzes when it's ready. They have a variety of crepes as that is what they are known for. . When you think of crepes, it's more of a sweet dish than savory but I'm more of a savory person when it comes to morning breakfast, especially when dining in... . Got some savory crepes and they were just OK. I think the fillings are good but the crepe did not go well with it. Maybe the crepe is intended for sweets. . I couldn't even eat the crepe itself when my beef skillet. I ended up just eating the filling. . The crepes were kind of pricy IMO, but they don't have table service or didn't they ask for tips when paying so it's included I guess... . The crepes aren't big or anything to compensate for the price but I do understand with inflation and everything in general is just more expensive.

Meter parking on northern blvd or residential parking. Two parking spots available for cafe customers at the back. Beautiful and charming ambient. Good friendly customer service. Food is good. Coffee is so so. Great place to meet with friends. They don't mind you staying longer to talk. We were conscious about staying too long and occupying a table. We plan to leave if anyone waiting for a table but we never had to on a Saturday afternoon.

They totally got me with a picture of that bear at the counter (you walk up to the counter to place your order and they give you a disc that will buzz when they summon you back). I guess I'm a point of sales sucker, but it was good - sweet but not overly sweet, and the same applied to the crepe what with it's banana filling. It's a cute place with it's decor and just overall cozy feel. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Picturesque garden like setting highlighted with decorative feel good themes makes for a perfect background for a Cafe. Love the bevy of hot and cold beverages here, especially the hot variety as they always come decorated with cute and whimsical expressions. The sweet and or savory crepes are delicious and is the perfect comfort food when you need a little pick me up. It's a little pricey, but the quality in the ingredients are easily distinguishable to the palette. There is a minimum $12 purchase to use credit cards and seating though limited is comfortable. The tables are spaced well apart from each other, so you never feel crowded in. Cafe bench offers Great service, food and drinks prepared fresh right before your eyes. They have set a high benchmark for others to replicate.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cute decor that surrounded the whole cafe. Seating is just first come first serve, so you can just give your order to the counter and sit wherever you want. Honestly, the crepes are pretty costly compared to what they are worth, but I liked how there are various flavors for the crepes. What I enjoyed the most was the drinks here!! I like how for their iced drinks, the ice is the iced version of that drink. For example, my mango drink had iced mango cubes so that even when they melted, I still had a strong flavor. Please try the Passion Mango!!

I've circled around the other cafes in the area, but none are as elaborately decorated as this one. In terms of bakery, the choices are limited to crepes and ice cream. But I am happy the drinks are good! Cappuccino- cutely decorated. There's a wafting scent of cinnamon in every sip. 5/5 Specialty drink orange bianco 5/5 sweet with chunks of orange. Definitely something you can't recreate at home. Loved it. Such a beautiful ambiance. Can be very loud at peak times.

If I could give zero stars to this place I would. I ordered a egg, ham, and cheese crepe. It was pretty bad. In the picture you can see they added some sauce which was sweet. I don't like sweet and salty flavors together like that. The crepe has some sort of flakes in it that was also sweet. The place took a very long time to prepare such a simple meal. They didn't have enough staff to take care of everyone there. I won't be returning.

Cozy cafe, but the crepes were very disappointing -- they seem very pricey for what they were. They were very basic, smaller than expected, and didn't seem to taste like much. We got the Sweet Forest and Chip Chip. The crepes were thin and light, but I feel like there could've been more of the crepe. There also could've been more filled in the crepe and more toppings. The Sweet Forest had little to nothing in it and was just a wrapped crepe with the listed toppings on top. The crepe seemed very disjointed and not like a cohesive dessert. Did not feel satisfied with the dessert.

One of my favorite cafe places. We were driving in the neighborhood, who knew so many cafes would be packed at this time? Peering into Cafe Bench, I saw they had a couple of tables available, yet still incredibly busy. We ordered the matcha shaved ice and it was delicious! The ambiance is always nice in this place.

This place has a really nice interior decor that is filled with different decorations depending on the season/time of year. They do a good job decorating for the winter/spring/summer/fall months. The ambiance of this cafe is the first thing you notice the second you walk in - 5/5 for ambiance. The dessert crepes are pretty good here but not amazing. They are known for their dessert crepes here. The only dessert crepe that I particularly really LOVE is the Lady Nana. This is their best thing on the menu and is a MUST. Their fruit smoothies & coffee drinks here are good, but not great. I sometimes find the smoothies a little too sweet. The espresso drinks aren't bad either.. The baristas here do a very nice job with the Latte art that adds a nice touch to each coffee drink.

Crepes were really good! Truffles were not that good. The pistachio truffle did not taste like pistachio at all and tasted more just like food coloring. They took a super long time with our order (an hour or so wait). Very busy inside but cute and lots of fairy lights!

Food was mediocre and service was the same. Had a friend that ordered shroom and turkey crepe but weirdly enough the turkey looked undercooked (reddish) despite it being deli meat cut. Strange. The folks behind the counter smirked when my friend complained and pushed the food back to her telling her it's fine and when cooked it turns slightly red. Still not understanding that logic. Ultimately got a refund on it but it took a small argument to get it.

As a local, I truly love this place! The decorations, the friendly staff and the delicious desserts craft this place into perfection. The portions are a bit small, but the overall quality and taste offers satisfying tastes. The crepes were delicious and light. The drinks were sweet and special I have been here for breakfast and late night dessert. Both times were served with pleasure and greatness. I appreciate that it is open late as well. It gets busy during the night time.

If you're looking for the cutest fall decor, Cafe Bench is the cafe for you. After being inside a cold dessert cafe, we just had to migrate to a warm one. Cafe Bench was not only warm in the temperature, but it also offered the warmest vibes with the interior. I felt like I entered into a cozy den, the way it was decked out in string lights, fall leaves, and a fireplace. Even during night time, the cafe was filled with friends eager to catch up over warm teas and lattes, like us. The Cappuccino with Oat Milk alternative ($6.04) was nothing to write home about, given it was just unsweetened coffee with milk. But the Ryan art was cute! Note there is a $10 credit card minimum. With such a cozy vibe, and the fact that we stayed there for a long time without feeling the burden to leave given its chatty ambiance, I would totally come again to indulge in Christmas decor and crepes.

The lavender oat latte was just okay. None of the food was exceptional but it was okay. It is a good place to sit down and chat with friends. Parking is relatively easy to find and there is a lot of seating area. They give you a buzzer and once it's ready you just pick it up from the counter making it a seamless process. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The place was also kept clean.

I visited Cafe Bench alone on a weekday around noon and expected a crowd but to my surprise there was not. There were a few people dining in and it seems like a good place to get work done. It is not too busy and most people were having quiet conversations. It's like walking into a mini garden, the place is full of greenery and plants of all sizes. I order their Hameggan Cheese with a matcha latte. I'm not a huge fan of crepe but it was good. They also have a gluten free crepe option. Cafe Bench is a cute place that I'm looking forward to visiting again.

I have been to Cafe Bench over the years and remember the beautiful decor - with the main tree inside and the decor changing by the season. We went again and the tree is now much smaller, but the decor is still eye-catching and good backdrop for photos. The menu seems larger - crepes divided into savory and sweet crepes; made it hard to decide but I was set on the goat cheese crepe. It was very good, with a good amount of spinach and cheese, not heavy to eat. With a small side salad. My americano coffee cost me at least $4.60 bec. decaf was an added $0.60 something. Added cost to make iced also. The rest of our group had: "Honey I am Home" with prosciutto, ricotta and tomatoes, but was so tiny by itself on the big plate (maybe 2/3 the size of mine). It came out first and wondered how ours would be. Bacon and mushroom crepe with a side salad- was approved by my friend. Hot tea which was in a cute container but didn't hold much. Lemon C crepe came out so flat but was at least tasty. Has a large indoor area, with a few tables in an enclosed sidewalk space. Order and pay at the counter and pick up when the restaurant pager buzzes.

We ordered their Sweet Forest crepe which came with matcha ice cream, sweet red bean, strawberry slices, and chocolate drizzle. This is perfect if you have a sweet tooth! Note: If you're looking to study at a cafe that provides wifi, this is no longer a spot that offers wifi. While you can still use a laptop, they have a time limit of 90 minutes.

Got the Nutella addict with banana topping $10.50, a hibiscus drink $7.50, and mango shaved ice $13. Feel like the crepe wasn't bad but on the pricier side. Mango shaved ice was a pretty good size but was a bit artificial for my taste. Very friendly staff to take your order and the interior is really cute with a lot of LED lights. Kind of nice that they also served savory crepes as an option, and there are also two tables outside of the store, in tents, for more of a private room feel.

This place is very cute with its decorations. Spacious space but you order at the counter, no table service. Came here after lunch for some dessert, my friend and I shared the lady nana crepe, can't go wrong with bananas and icecream, it also had some kind of crackers inside which was pretty good overall. I had the sunrise hibiscus sparkler which was good once I mixed all the jam/syrup on the bottom. Super cute space and it gets crowded pretty quickly on a Sunday afternoon.

I love this place! They do seasonal updates of the shop so decorations are always different which is adorable. Sometimes they even have movies playing on the projector. I've been here a few times with a few different people and everyone loves it. I got one of the regular crepes and it was really delicious. Simple but yummy. They add cute designs on your coffee too which is nice. It's usually crowded and parking might be a little tough but if you're able to be patient it's worth it. There isn't a ton of staff interactive as you order and pay at the counter but they're professional and helpful.

We were able to get a seat though in their "outdoor" seating spot which you can find walking out through the exit of the back of the restaurant. I say "outdoor" since it's basically an indoor shack with plenty of heating and is well lit and decorated. ~FOOD~ ~ Super Nanny Mary Poppins ~ Nutella Addict ~ Sweet Forest ~DRINKS~ ~ Orange Bianco ~ Hot Chocolate ~ Jasmine Tea Latte? (forgot the name of this one but it has a bear shaped ice cube that is frozen Jasmine Tea and milk) Crepes were delicious and fillings were not skimped on! I also really enjoyed the drinks. The hot chocolate looked just as good as it was presented with a cute little cocoa cat on the top. I've never had orange in a coffee drink and loved the combination. I also really liked the Jasmine Tea Latte, but would've liked just a bit stronger of a tea flavor.

Cafe Bench is on Northern Boulevard and is a cafe that features Korean and Crepe inspired desserts. The interior is beautiful and it's one of those places that everyone Instagrams. There's a lot of seating and their outdoor seating is still available. I ordered the Sweet Forest ($12) and Mango Shaved Ice ($13.75) and both made my sweet tooth content. However for the price you're paying, this is certainly a treat you can't indulge in frequently. The crepe and everything else like the strawberries were sliced really thin too. However it's a nice place to come to once in a while and it's a plus that they're open late at night. TLDR: Beautiful interior that's Instagram worthy, but their desserts and drinks are pricey.

I came in early today, i ate lady nana. The combination of bananas, ice cream and crepes was so good. I want to go eat something else again next time. The staff was so kind and the coffee tasted so good. The cafe was like a fairy tale! The atmosphere is so good. I want to visit again on a special day.

Was waiting for takeout at a nearby restaurant when we came across this establishment. Saw some of the photos on Yelp and decided to go in and order some dessert to go. The decor and ambiance was cozy and adorable. Just the space itself was quite a sight (refer to photos). Ordered a slice of cheesecake and a vanilla peanut butter truffle and given a pager as I waited for my order. It took a while before I got my order, long enough where I snapped multiple photos/videos of the space, of the menu, and continued to wait. The cheesecake had a grainy feel in the mouth after each bite, as if the sugar wasn't melted thoroughly in the batter. Not sure if it was graham cookie crumble or if it was sugar. The vanilla peanut butter truffle was exactly what you would imagine it to be, a good balance of the chocolate coating, vanilla ice cream, and bits of peanut butter.

Honestly, from just what I've heard from my friend's reviews of this place - it seems like the majority of people come here for the photos and decor of this place moreso than their quality of desserts and drinks. But I generally like to give the benefit of doubt whenever I can so I decided to at least try this place out rather than to go to their competitors down the street that have better quality. No doubt about the interior, it's amazing in here and it looks beautiful all year round. The staff here don't even acknowledge you in here, they felt like machines just there to take orders, make the orders and ring their devices to let you know that your order's ready. There was no social interaction other than taking my order. No greetings or thank you for coming by - I generally try to be friendly to anyone who works in the service/hospitality industry. The only joy in this place comes from their decor. The noodle shaved ice (as advertised on their menu - I wouldn't even call it bingsoo) was at best 3/5. The texture was weird and inconsistent, some spoonfuls were a different texture of shaved ice than the others and there was a mysterious flavor of banana in their mango shaved ice which overwhelmed the mango flavor of every spoonful. The mango chunks were good and sweet though. The sunrise hibiscus sparkler - was pretty refreshing but the marinated orange bits at the bottom were way too sweet and it wasn't mixed so all of them tasted jammy and too candied. It tasted like the yuza peel pieces you'd get in jars of korean tea. The management here needs to address the issues they have that many of the Yelp reviews on here have brought up before they can go back to their former reputation of glory.

Still loving their Sunrise Mocha but it needs a bit more marinated oranges. Please don't skimp on them, it takes away from the drink. The drink is still good though, just had to suck on the orange slice lol. Still recommend and will still be patronizing this establishment.

In the mood for a nice quiet "light" lunch, we dropped into Cafe Bench in Flushing. Cafe Bench specializes in crepes, coffees and desserts. Ambience: 5 stars. This is all about atmosphere, with nice wooden tables and chairs and the decorations that make it feel like home (I.e. fireplace, wall art, etc), there is even a tree growing in the middle of the dining room. Food: I'm not really a big crepe person, but my kids seem to like them. Cafe Bench offers both savory crepes filled with cheese and proteins as well as sweet crepes for desserts. I ordered the beef skillet crepe. It had slices of beef along with some fresh spinach and cheese. it was good as far as crepes go (remember, I'm not a crepes guy). TL/DR: this is definitely a picturesque little cafe with a lot of atmosphere. Definitely a place to take your little girls or significant other.

The menu has a lot of drinks and desserts to choose from. Overall, the food here is a average. The drinks were cute but the taste wasn't anything special. The desserts were also meh. The shaved ice was very small for the price but tasted decent although both their matcha and mango ice was pretty bland without the toppings. Prices here are pretty steep for the fairly small portions. Service here leaves a lot to be desired. The people are nice but the ordering system is awful - they have one or two registers but taking orders just took forever. We waited a good 10 minutes to order since they're not organized in taking orders from patrons. Cute place so great for ambiance but food is a bit of a miss.

It's a very very cute place. It's quiet enough to study. I ordered Nutella crepe and it wasn't anything to write home about, but wasn't bad. The one thing I couldn't get over is how gross the bathroom was. There was puddle of urine on the floor in front of the toilet & there was no toilet paper. Only thing keeping me from coming back is the bathroom situation.

My kids loved the strawberry shaved ice - it's not a typical shaved ice; it's more like strawberry vanilla milk frozen and shaved with condensed milk but was very good. The lady nana was a hit at our table and one of better matcha lattes I've had had in a while.

The food is just lacking in so many ways. The descriptions are not accurate, the food is made to order but somehow still didn't seem fresh. Veggies in the savory crepe were clearly frozen and create a runny water with the eggs, green tea ice cream had freezer burn and the red bean " sauce" was excessive and more like a pool of red beans that you couldn't escape. The specialty tea was delicious but a heft $7 and the cappuccino was tasty but also expensive. Another big issue is the self service. Totally took away from the cute cafe appeal.
