The food was extremely small portions for what you pay, totally not worth it. We were a large group and they definitely weren’t equipped to handle it. Massive queues to order, then they say they remember you and will bring you what you ask for, but they didn’t remember, so there was a lot of asking and wondering who ordered what, because the menu also doesn’t have pictures or descriptions so a foreigner has no idea what they’re ordering. It’s also in the museum’s basement.

Campus style refectory food. Good value and convenient if staying at the Bauhaus apartments. Coffee from a machine, but OK.

Cafe was clearly open and it says so on Google as well. This staff member who was an older guy (who I have never seen before) just told me they're closed without an explanation. So rude and unprofessional. I am a regular and never had such a weird experience here.

Nice furnitures but average food

Excellent food.

Foods' okay. People are polite and quiet, the staff is super nice and kind. If you're staying here, recommend to visit.

The atmosphere is nice, particularly sitting outside but in terms of hospitality I’d give less than 1 star. It’s giving German control vibes - and I’ve been living in this area of Germany for 15 plus years, so I should be kinda prepared for this but: In this cafe they lock their electricity sockets - apparently so students don’t sit here charging their laptops - and seriously charged me 50cents to charge my phone while I was having breakfast. I can’t stop shaking my head over this.

If you're looking for a place to work or have a long conversation with friends while enjoying fresh weather or a minimalistic interior, you've got to give this place a chance. Placed in the Bauhaus building, this cafe has a friendly vibe for both students and visitors. If you're a student, ask for the drinks with the student discount.
