We've been there for our breakfast and we really enjoyed this nice little Café. The staff was really nice and friendly, the drinks and the croissants were good Nice way to start the day 😁

Google
A hidden gem right next to the Christmas markets, we managed to find a moment of peace away from the busy Christmas markets in this sweet cafe. We visited multiple times and had delicious tea, coffee and cake. The staff were really friendly and kind - would recommend!

Such a nice and cozy space with great coffee, friendly service and reasonable prices. Especially on a cloudy/rainy day, the vibe is great. A perfect place to study, work or read a book and relax. Also, the twix was seriously amazing!

Google
This cafe is amazing!! Our first good impression was the kindness of the staff here! They are all so lovely and nice. The atmosphere and overall style of the cafe is really beautiful and cozy ✨ Then our food was served and we were blown away! The breakfast contale was really nice and the cheesecake had stunned us! It really was the best cheesecake we ever had. Definitely recommend coming here!!

Google
One of the best coffee shop with a micro brewery. Very good cheese cake. Many local people come to work so that this is a good place for nomad. Valued coffee. Good place for brunch. Very good lunch as well.

Loved the first Café Bretelles. Years later we came to Strasbourg again, so the second one was a pleasant surprise. It’s right next to the Petite France, so we started our tour here with a small brunch. Coffee was expectedly fantastic and so was our brunch (sadly eggs Benedict are served only on weekends). I like the building. It’s small, but there are more floors and even a garden in the street. People come to work here on their laptops, which is a plague for modern cafes, but at least they are not allowed on weekends.

This is a hidden gem for a great coffee in Strasbourg. I just walked by and immediately knew that this cafe must have a good coffee. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Excellent coffee as well. Better than other coffee shops that I tried in France. Well done!

Yelp
My go to coffee shop when in Strasbourg. Slightly away from the more touristy area and they offer V60 and aeropress - always excellently prepared.

Yelp
Not only is this place conveniently near our hotel, but it's also some of the best coffee in town. The queue her can get quite long at times, but that's a good sign in a city filled with coffee. Espresso and macchiatos were perfectly made.

Yelp
Good coffee is very hard to find in France. It's even harder to find outside of Paris. Bretelles' coffee was outstanding and even though it was really crowded it was still quite easy to order, pay and get our coffee and treats brought out to us. I will say that at least the person who helped us spoke very little English which was ok for us as my wife speaks French. Should also add that their take on a Twix bar was fantastic -- the shortbread was definitely drier than the beloved American candy but the caramel was on point for sure.

Yelp
Good selection of strong espresso drinks, they have an oat milk alternative, but very limited breakfast food options after 11:30a on weekdays and 12:30p on weekends. Outdoor seating but chilly since in a wind tunnel when we were there. Small shop, with limited seating inside.

Yelp
Delicious coffee to start your day before you walk around town. Strong but not bitter or overpowering. Very well balanced. Just a great cup of coffee overall. Very close to the train station which is great if you're traveling by train. It's a tiny hole in the wall with very few things on the menu but that's probably what makes it so good.

Yelp
Awesome place to come for coffee and breakfast. They had exactly what we were looking for - caffeine and a true European breakfast plate. We sat at a small table outside, which was lovely to be able to people watch. We will definitely come back again.

Yelp
My favorite place for really great coffee and breakfast! Thank you for being kind as I butchered the French language. I am learning slowly.

Yelp
When searching in a new city/country for a proper cappuccino, Flat White or cafe latte I've learned that if there many photos of a pretty cup of coffee on the Yelp listing chances are very good it's the best in town. Thankfully Café Brestelles didn't let me down. Friendly workers, talented barista and charming shop with tables outside. They also offer a small breakfast menu upstairs.

Yelp
Cafe Bretelles is a legit coffee shop and a great place to stop for a break as you wander through Strasbourg and Petite France. All baristas here are friendly and knowledgeable. They serve their own batch brew, typical espresso based drinks, as well as coffee brewed with a v60 or aero press. It was quite a surprise to find a coffee shop here in Strasbourg taking coffee seriously. From what I can tell, all the beans they use seem to be single origin. In addition, they serve simple pastries and cakes. If tea is your thing, they have a small selection of tea on their menu as well. Other pros: - ample seating for customers; the shop looks small at first glance but is actually two stories - free WiFi - restrooms for guests

Yelp
Well worth it! Coffee, iced tea, juice and coffee drinks. High quality food. The homemade granola has a nice mix of dried fruit and nuts. The peanuts really elevate the flavor. The granola was atop my yogurt which was also delicious. Le Continental comes with baguette, ham, cheese and egg. Le Granola comes with baguette, butter, jam, apple juice, homemade granola/yogurt and one hot drink. The cappuccino is spot on! The baguette was soft yet sturdy, probably the best I've had thus far. $40 US dollars for 4 adults. Small entrance but has 3 levels of dining space. Bathroom at the top level not suitable for older people as door opens to the steep and narrow staircase. Three bistro tables outside (2 chairs each) in July. Bon appetit!

Yelp
Fabulous coffee shop with easy brunch and great coffee (moxka) and oatmilk for a dairy free option. Lovely service too!

Yelp
On a quest for Specialty Coffee in Strasbourg and found it here. The barista poured a Flat White, Latte, Cappucino with art - they even had a a Soy Latte. Chased my latte with a Twix Bar. Their coffee is from Rwanda.

Yelp
I am a total coffee snob and I have to say this was one of the best coffees I've had in a while. The machine, the espresso used and the barista - all top notch. Of course the atmosphere in Petite France and the quaint nature of the shop itself add to this. I can highly recommend getting your afternoon coffee here and nowhere else

Yelp
Great little cafe. Cheap, good espresso, and excellent food if you are looking for breakfast or lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Cappuccino's are DELICIOUS! Overall, has a very trendy "coffee lab" feel. Barista and staff spoke English and were warm and welcoming.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with good coffee and several snacks. For a slightly quieter atmosphere, sit upstairs.

Yelp
We tried this place to have breakfast and ordered a petit dejeuner (included bread, jam, juice and a coffee - you can choose which kind of coffee) and a cappuccino with cake du jour (coconut). It's a nice cosy place. The cappuccino was very good and the coconut cake delicious and fresh. I enjoyed sitting there to start the day. At the end, each of us had two cappuccino

Yelp
My favorite cafe in Strasbourg. Tasty coffee and hot chocolate, wifi, and friendly staff with warm, cozy atmosphere. What more can I ask for!!

Yelp
It's a cute place and has good service but I saw a rat scurrying across in the upper floor. Not very appetizing!

Yelp
Amazing coffee just like from home (nz). Definitely worth a visit the staff a friendly and they are dedicated to making the perfect coffee every time (we went three times)!

Yelp
Awesome plat du jour for lunch! Very fresh combination of lentil croquettes, watermelon, zucchini and beets dressed with a thyme vinaigrette and topped with crispy jambon. Staff was wonderful. Glad we stumbled onto this place.

Yelp
Adorable little cafe in a beautiful narrow Strasbourg alley in the Petite France neighborhood. Exceptional coffee and the freshest of fresh croissant. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Excellent little coffee spot! Excellent coffee and very friendly owner. A must if you want proper coffee in Strasbourg.
