Café Burkardt - Das Café im Friedrich-Ebert Haus

Best burgers we ever had in Germany. Meat perfect. Bowl was amazing. Vegan gluten-free and extremely delicious. Service was warm and the ambient was very cosy. Highly recommended, next time we will come with friends again.

A great place to have some local wine and good tasty food. It has a rustic dark cosy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food was nice. Nice place to stop by and have some wine and snacks.

A very beautiful, authentisch, historical place in Heidelberg. In fact the location is a restaurant with international good.The food and the Service are both excelent. During the Summer the courtyard is opened and it is like an oasis in the crowed Hd. Not to forget the restaurant is located in the building where is located the Friedrich Ebert Museum- the Hause where the First president of Germany was born and rais. So enjoy it.

I was sitting there late night and ordered a fish soup. The food was was very tasty. The place itself has good cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants in Heidelberg. Very good wine selection, with excellent local wines from the region, and very good food a bit fusion Mexican and vegetarian. Very recommendable, definitely a wine restaurant to not miss in Heidelberg. Tuesday is taco day with more taco variety!!! 😊😜

Café Burkardt is an excellent and rather unusual restaurant in Heidelberg's Altstadt. When I first visited about ten years ago, the food was modern German, but with the arrival of a South American chef the kitchen has branched out into some intriguing and delicious areas. There are excellent vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian options, a splendid wine list, and the cosy atmosphere of a 19th century German tavern. Certainly our priority whenever we're in the city.

Delicious! I had the vegan tacos and they were really good. Sadly no beer from tap but otherwise the staff was very friendly
