Cafe Cancun HH

Saw other reviews and had to try. Did not disappoint. Huge portions, authentic Mexican breakfast. Absolutely top notch coffee and service. Best meal in Hollywood hands down.

I had breakfast at Café Cancun while staying at the Best Western. The restaurant was clean and the staff was clearly working hard. Despite being very busy, the waiter managed everything on his own and the kitchen kept orders moving — impressive effort under pressure. I ordered the three-egg omelette with peppers, onions, and ham. The coffee was excellent — a large, bold cup that started the morning off right. The omelette itself could have been better: the vegetables were slightly undercooked and the eggs were a bit too runny for my preference. I also received one slice of toast instead of the usual two, which was a minor surprise. Overall, I’m giving this experience 3 stars. The hard work is definitely there — with a few adjustments to the food preparation, this spot could easily level up.

What a pleasant surprise to find such delicious food at the little restaurant attached to our hotel The Best Western Hollywood Plaza! The staff in the morning and the evening staff Jeffery they were just so sweet, friendly and served our food with a smile and lovely banter with their guests! Who would think that birria tacos could be so good but oh my goodness "muy deliciosa" Thank you so much for making our stay in Hollywood extra special. We were there September 9-12!

Damian was the server, this gentleman deserves a raise the place was heavily crowded and he was moving as fast as the flash with great service and not forgetting a single customer he made breakfast and unforgettable moments clearly made this cafe restaurant shine like a hidden diamond in the earth wow great Job! The food was also extremely delicious Damian helped assist in the custom burrito! Will be back and tell other friends this is the hotel to stay when visiting Universal Studios!!!

This was just what we needed after a quick overnight to Hollywood overnight before heading home. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice and also friendly staff and good service.

Come hungry for breakfast! All the breakfast items are awesome. The people next to us inhaled their burritos. The young lady who ho served us was delightful and got our day off to a great start.

Listen, if you want to feel like you have a home and family away from home - come here. We travel a lot, and to have a place that goes above and beyond for their customers is not always the case. The flavours are amazing and the portions are huge - especially for a restaurant that’s attached to a hotel. I have a smile on my face every time I come here, and really feel welcomed. Best staff ever 💗 ps. Their waffle or pancake combos are enough for two of you if you’re only medium hungry!! It’s a perfect breakfast for me and my man.
