A hidden gem of a restaurant on the beautiful Isle of Canna. We had both lunch and dinner there on the same day given its the only place on the island serving hot food. Both meals were lovely. It's pretty pricey but completely reasonable given its remote location. Overall it's very impressive such a place exists given all the logistical challenges that must come with operating a restaurant on a remote island.

A great little place with an amazing outlook. Had the fresh crab and a seaweed starter that was apparently foraged about 200 yards away. The evening progressed into one of those rare magical ones where four guys working on the new hub, a fellow traveller, Gareth and his assistant and I were toasting the (ironically hardly visible) northern lights outside then he put on the Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen for a sing song that progressed to Runrig. Then a lift home (to caravan and campsite respectively) for fellow traveller and me from one of the teetotal guys. Best night on my Small Isles island hop. Great to meet you, hub-guys!

Hard to believe this great cafe is here! Stopped over during a boat tour and had a wonderful warm hot chocolate and a beer overlooking the harbour. Loved it! The self serve kiosk was fantastic too for a snack.

Absolutely magnificent place. If you are visiting Canna it is The Must. Gareth, The Chef, is a magician. I mean the food he cook is absolutely fantastic. We took all four starters to share between my crew. All was delicious. Gareth responsibly forage some species of local seaweed for his outstanding salads. And take only local lobsters, crabs and langoustines for the seafood platter. If you are an ale lover bear in mind that from this season Gareth even brew his own craft ale. It is literally mind blowing 😎

Lovely wee place! We stopped by canna during out scuba diving trip and it's beautiful, this little bar on the island has some of the best langustines iv ever had, straight out the water to the plate to order can't get any fresher than that! I don't drink beer but the other tries the local brew and said it was lovely, and the views were to die for!! The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly! Will defo return in the future

Absolute gem with amazing views overlooking the harbour with sailboats. Although kinda hidden, it's definitely a must visit! Or anything else from the menu :) We recommend a seafood platter (has to be ordered in advance though), crab ravioli or pies. The majority of the ingredients are also locally sourced.

This restaurant is a must visit! Absolutely delicious seafood, we had crab ravioli, seafood platter and crème brûlée. All the dishes were amazing, with the best seafood platter we’ve ever had (be sure to order ahead of time as it’s fresh caught to order). The chef is incredible and beautiful views from the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

As others have said this is a truly special place and I can well imagine visitors making their way to the wonderful island of Canna just to eat here. We came twice for lunch while visiting Canna so can't comment about dinner though we heard from others it was amazing. The selection of food was terrific but what really hit home was the location which is simply unsurpassed. Sitting in the sun looking out over one of the best views in Scotland is hard to describe in words that do it justice. On both occasions we visited the staff could not have been more friendly, attentive and helpful. Writing this my only regret is that planning another trip is quite a challenge and will probably wait until next year. As the advert says its simples - if you visit Canna and don't eat at the cafe then you're really missing out. Just do it!
