Café Caprice

I’ve been to this spot a number of times, and it’s easily one of my go-to places for their Tuesday burger special. The vibe is always great in summer with a lively crowd and ocean views. Their burgers have always been consistently good: juicy, well seasoned, and cooked exactly to my preference. My most recent visit was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, this time around, things fell a bit short. We ordered our patties medium, but they came out well done. That took away from the usual juicy bite, leaving the burgers dry and a bit underwhelming. On the upside, the fries were crispy and delicious, but it just didn’t make up for the letdown.

I really like the vibe and atmosphere of this place. Service was good. My hubby enjoyed his breakfast. I had the French toast, which wasn't anything special. I felt like it was missing some mascarpone. The bread was thick and a bit hard in some parta. A little dry as well.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday and it was really very average. I’ve driven past there on a Saturday night and it always looks vibrant and fun but more for drinks than food. Add to your list for after dinner drinks but skip the meal…. Unless you’re going to have a burger. The burgers looked great!

Our family really enjoyed this restaurant from the food to the atmosphere. Delicious dishes and relaxing environment right across from the water. Our waitress SHIMEI was awesome! She was very friendly, attentive and informative when it came to suggesting the menu items. She even brought us a bowl of warm lemon water to clean our sticky hands! Make sure if you visit this restaurant to ask for Shimei and give her a great tip. She deserves it! We will definitely be back!

Aussies tourists here! Super friendly and skilled staff, food was served promptly and everything we ordered was delicious. We had sushi, calamari and the sirloin!!!! Scrumptious!! Very well managed, professional yet super warm with a lovely diversity in staff. The vibe was so wonderful and we will definitely be coming back here when we visit South Africa again.

Loved our experience at Cafe Caprice - great food, music, view! Charity waited on us this afternoon and we highly recommend her. She was extremely friendly, attentive, and overall provided great service. We’ll definitely be back. 😊

Loved this place! Our waitresses were lovely. The energy is good and it’s not too crowded considering it’s right across the beach. Perfect place for light brunch and content creation.
