Café Central

Tasty meal. We ordered the goulash, goulash soup and the schnitzel. All were prepared well. Service was good in a classic cafe atmosphere.

This is worth the hype, everyone. Forget the Vienna location with waits out the door and pop into Innsbruck several times. Their daily specials are sooooo delicious, inspired, flavorful, and well priced. They had everything from vegan lentils to goulash to venison and delectable desserts when we ate here. The homemade raviolis were incredible. I ADORED the waiters both times we ate here and couldn't get enough of the coffee house culture. recommended.

This restaurant is recommended by our guide books, and it's by far the best restaurant in terms of value and quality in Innsbruck. Delicious seafood dishes and they have the best Black Forest cake. Very pleasant outdoor elevated seating area (no cover but quite shaded in the afternoon) and located in a quieter part of town. Inside is nice too with well spaced tables. A place worth going back to if you are here for a few days.

Delicious food and perfect seating for people watching. The menu is a nice change from the heavy traditional food we had been eating for a while- the chicken plate was fantastic and the salad was so fresh and yet sufficiently filling. The service was great and attentive.

The food is good here and prices reasonable. Problem is the long wait usually for service - some people here don't seem to enjoy their job and it shows. The others are super friendly. Very busy during lunch and breakfast. They have a nice list of all day breakfasts and great lunch salads !! Definitely recommend. Too bad the service isn't good.

Woah, Coffee Hazelnut Ice Cream espresso drinks! Give me more! One of the best days of my entire life. Venturing out not to only one Architectural Palace Landmark, yet reaching up to Ambras, Hofburg legends. Café Central is a solid between prior or after visiting these World Class tourism destination zones. Blending mix into the scenery of them. For a well balanced lifestyle. Café Central is replicating those landmarks to further enhance all of the beauty around. All tourists in a 24 hour Interval (Especially when a temporary stay, even when you always want to stay longer): Go to Ambras first, Café Central second, and Hofburg Palace Of Innsbruck last. Developing a revolutionary pattern of essential memories collection.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, great wine selection, great newspaper selection, clean bathrooms, original coffeehouse interior, best coffee and fresh/local ingredients for there culinary dishes..

You feel that you are in the middle of Wien. Classy and stylish, please do order a chocolate there, they are fantastic. Waiters are very kind and they have explained every single plate on the menu. I used to go there and read my morning paper before going to class.

Das Ambiente ist toll aber das Fruehstueck ist teilweise nicht zufriedenstellend da sie kein frisches Brot am Wochenende anbieten. Ausserdem ist der Milchkaffee waessrig.
