Cafe Chardonnay

We had a lovely night at Café Chardonnay, a spot that truly lives up to its reputation. The ambiance is very classy and elegant, great for a relaxed upscale evening out. We started with the table bread and mustard spread, which was a great opener. My wife enjoyed the Hibiscus Rita cocktail, and for appetizers we shared the burrata, which was fresh and flavorful. For entrées, I had the pan-seared elk strip loin with a side of fries, excellent and cooked beautifully (medium rare). My wife ordered the veal short rib with wild mushroom ragù, which was rich, tender, and full of depth. We needed our night with tasty tiramisu! Pure perfection 😋 The crowd leaned a bit older, but that didn’t take away from the experience at all. The food, atmosphere, and overall quality made for a great night.

My husband and I and some friends of ours recently enjoyed an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Café Chardonnay. My husband had the elk chop, outstanding! My girlfriend had the Bronzino, which she said was to die for, her husband had the fillet, and I had the braised short rib and everything was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be going back. Our service was fantastic. It is a testament to why they have been in business so many years because they know how to provide good service and consistent quality food. Put this one on your list when visiting Palm Beach Gardens!

Café Chardonnay in Palm Beach Gardens, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a local favorite. Even out of season, the restaurant was buzzing... a true sign of its popularity. The location is fantastic, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed

Disappointed. I was expecting a good experience after reading the reviews, but my expeience was very different. The restaurant was jammed with tables just far too close together. Very intrusive, The noise level was deafening. I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me, even after leaning in. My ears were rining from the noise. Service was reasonably attentive but outrageously slow. I ordered the Short Ribs Ragout. I received fatty, stringy short rib meat over zitti. House Cabernet, ehh. Prices were high and I would not consider this good value for the price point. The restaurant seems to be doing well and thriving though, with great ratings and people waitiing in queue to get in. Just did not meet my expectations.

What a great evening! Our server Tom deserved six stars! He was so knowledgeable and engaging and overall charming. :) We had the roasted cauliflower & beets, oysters Rockefeller, pecan crusted pork chops, yellow snapper, veal scallopini, and salmon. So, so good!

I cannot say enough about this place, it was a beautiful, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere. The service was perfect, eric our server was a gem. But everyone we encountered made us feel like we were at home and mattered. We only came for drinks and apps at the time but everything we had was delicious! Why was that sauce that came with bread so good?! We can’t wait to return, thanks for the beautiful hospitality.

Great place. The Duck and cioppino dishes were excellent. Pinto on tap is rare and was very good. Our server Eric was awesome and his support staff very attentive. Desert was over the top and the best cordials are behind the bar and not on the after dinner desert/drink list. They have the Amoro China China which is rare to come by. Definitely coming back with friends.

Absolutely STUNNING restaurant, perfect for a romantic date night or anniversary celebration. 😍 The lighting is dim, very romantic ambiance. Lighting fixtures and other decor is just gorgeous. Our food was out of this world amazing and our server was very knowledgeable. This restaurant has been around for quite some time, under the same ownership and many of the staff members have been there for an extended period of time also. That tells me a lot about the owners and how they run their business and care for their staff. I have to also mention that the wine list is probably the most expansive I've ever seen at a single restaurant and our server was able to help us find a couple of new favorites. All in all, super happy with our choice to dine here for date night and we will definitely return again and again. Can't go wrong with an amazing atmosphere, stellar service and delicious food. Final note - the prices aren't cheap and I wouldn't expect them to be at a beautiful place like this. You get what you pay for and at Cafe Chardonnay, it's well worth it! 😉
