"Just a five-minute walk from the popular Market 28 souvenir zone downtown, Café con Gracia has earned a stellar reputation among 20-something locals for its refreshing frappés (choose from an extensive menu like mint, mango, bubble gum, and Nutella). Adorable if tight, this former residence serves coffee drinks and desserts in its backyard garden, indoor rooms, and front terrace. Also on the menu are tasty bagels, waffles, and other beloved breakfast items. Daytime is quiet at this indoor-outdoor venue, but in the evenings, it can fill with customers."

We had huevos rancheros, chocolate Nutella waffles and a mango chamoy smoothie. The service was fast, friendly and fun. Nice music played and the bathroom was clean. The price was fantastic. I definitely would recommend it.

My friends and I stopped here before we left Cancun to continue our road trip and the food was so delicious. I forgot their names, but their customer service was amazing. We all loved the drinks that we ordered. Definitely a good stop in the morning before heading out.

This place is doing it right! Super comfortable space with eclectic seating areas and (thankfully) air conditioning. The affogato with coconut ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the latte was the best I had during my two weeks in the area. Staff is friendly and attentive, definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Google
What a lovely place! The food was amazing and super fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and the coffee was so good!

Google
Nice place to have a date with friends, your partner, or yourself. It is pretty big and they have a very big menu. The atmosphere is so chill and they play good music. Just not cheap

Google
Really enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food. Don’t get me wrong the food was still delicious (and unique). I had a pineapple pizza waffle. Not my first choice, but I wanted to try something outside the ordinary.

Always when we walked next to this coffee shop, it was well visited. So, we decided to go for the breakfast of our last day in Cancun. It was very good decision, then it was so delicious. We took a chocolate waffle, pistachios milkshake and a sandwich (Panini). With this we were full. The portion was very good, the price for the food is absolute fair. The design of the coffee shop is nice, I liked to stay there. Because it well visited the food needs a little bit longer, but waiting for the food was more than worth it. I can recommend going there. Maybe you should reserve a place, if you can make a reservation. At the photos you can find the menu.

Google
Presentation of the food, quantity and taste can be better. Prices are very similar to what you would pay in Toronto but with less quantity and appeal. The staff is nice, they don’t speak a lot of English but they make an effort to do their best

Yelp
So after riding the bus from the hotel zone to Market 28, we were a little hungry and seeked out the first place we saw with ac. We were immediately seated and served. My gf's chai latte was amazing. I didn't want any sugar with how hot it was, but I almost gave in after tasting that latte. We decided on our food and it did not take long for it to be brought out. The cross between pizza and waffles sounds crazy, but it totally works. I wish I could have gotten pepperoni instead of ham for my Hawaiian, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The waffle was the right texture and the flavors just blended well together. This place is awesome if you need a little break in this area.

Yelp
Such a cute vibe in this small cafe. Victor was an absolute delight to have as our server. It is worth noting for anyone with a nut allergy that the croissant had pesto, which was not mentioned on the menu. Cinnamon roll was delicious and I brought my latte to go. Prices extremely reasonable

Shruti S.

Yelp
Good ambiance, nice little shop in the city with mostly locals. We tried iced latte and cookies and cream coffee, both were okay. I tried a bagel which was average too. My husband ordered the waffle hotdog and was really impressed. Overall, a good spot for coffee or just to hang out and spend time.

Jazmin M.

Yelp
Always a pleasure to stop here. They have a washing area for your hands as you walk in. Location: very center on Main Street Parking: street parking plus valet Staff: friendly, patience and helpful Wait Time: usually none to be seated but it does take time to get your food and drinks Seating: indoor and outdoor Taste: ham and cheese panini is probably my fave. Choco with Nutella is like cake and mousse. Drink: Cookie Monster is always the reason we come. Great hit with kids. Coffee, is average

Waheda I.

Yelp
Cute cafe. They have live music, delicious food at reasonable prices. They also accept card. Service is prompt. Good place to stop for a quick light meal to start your day.

Tee M.

Yelp
Beware, if you're a tourist DO NOT COME HERE. Food was only OK, when they finally gave us the right food thing. Customer service is literally the WORST. Utensils and cups are dirty and they don't have plastic. Frown upon people who don't speak Spanish and will treat you bad because of it. Also to top it off they sat us next to bathroom literally

Matt S.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite breakfast experiences. Whenever I walked past this restaurant, amazing smells were always being emitted. Stopped here for breakfast and wish I had went another time. The seating is outside and has a rustic venue. A lot of 50-80's American rock n' roll was being played. The food was very delicious. Loved the waffles with Nutella, ice cream, and strawberries. Had my first hot latte here which was pleasant. Open during the evening too. Definitely check this place out!

Molly M.

Yelp
A really great and colorful spot for breakfast, coffee concoctions, juice, and more. I loved my bagel noreugo, the salmon was really fresh and had such a great texture, the bagel itself was super soft and full of great herb and onion flavors.

Colette G.

Yelp
This is a perfect spot for breakfast/ brunch. We had such a great time. We ordered two drinks, taro and horchata con gracia. They were both so delicious! Highly recommend the drinks. I also had the traditional waffles with maple and Nutella. There was also an entertainer which we loved.

Samantha M.

Yelp
I was really hyped for the food here... It was ok. Not great not bad. Just average. I ordered the ham and cheese panini. There wasn't much ham or cheese. The bread and lettuce made up most of the sandwich. The bread was really good and so was the green sauce that was on it! Most of the patrons seem to be locals only two tables with what I assume were also tourists like myself. The real redeeming quality was the iced coffee. It was really good. Simple. Tasty. And coffee. I'd come back but probably for something different like waffles. But definitely for coffee!

Carey M.

Yelp
Great coffee drinks.. my egg bagel was delicious! ..................................,,,,,.............................,,,...

Yelp
What a breath of cuteness and kitschy-ness in the middle of downtown Cancun! This was the first place I ate in Cancun and was surprised to see their giant line-up of different frappes. My sister and I loved our time at this little cafe sitting under the twinkling lights so much that we actually came back twice (which I don't like to do when I'm traveling because I like to get as many different restaurants in as possible). We reccomend the Snickers Frappe. We also had a pizza waffle, a delightful vegetarian sandwhich, and the carrot cake. All of it was great! Note: if you are from the US and used to fast customer service, then make sure you mentally prepare before going out to eat anywhere in Mexico. It is a much slower pace and they will give you plenty of time to sit and enjoy one another's company before bringing the bill (in most cases, you need to ask for it). This little cafe is on en route to Mercado 28 if you are venturing outside of the tourist zone. When you get off of the bus for Mercado 28, it'll be on the first block as you walk towards the market. The bus is only like 50 cents so if you haven't ventured out yet you have no excuse!

Yelp
Off the beaten path and a little challenging to get to. There were 3 spaces in front and limited street parking but they did offer complimentary valet service (tip only) to assist with the parking sitch. I had the white chocolate mocha and it was delicious. The waffle with Nutella was good too. Shad had the roast beef croissant and said it was just okay and that it lacked some meat. The place overall is really cute and quaint. They had a patio area and an inside seating area. Our server was very lively and friendly with everyone.... which meant, it took a while to get him back to our table.

Elena L.

Yelp
Great little cup of Gracia! Espresso with condensed milk. Small, and sweet but delicious! My boyfriend let me drink some of his mocha and it was wonderful. Not too sweet and great foam and artistic work on top. Thank you. ¡Muchas gracias!

Steven N.

Yelp
My family came here for brunch. It's such a nice surprise. My wife and 2 kids enjoyed the food and drink a lot. I did too. The store was nicely decorated and we sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. There was valet parking and the waitresses were super friendly. My son loved the cotton candy drink.

Kreedy 7.

Yelp
Worst place to eat , customer service horrible this place is very uncomfortable definitely would not recommend they have dirty utensils and kept getting my food order wrong

Kayesee S.

Yelp
Wow I was blown away by how delicious everything at this restaurant was and how affordable it was. Their drinks are so refreshing in the hot humid weather in Cancun. Their sandwiches are also delicious and kept me full for a long time. Next time I'm in Cancun I'm definitely coming back to this place.

Alan P.

Yelp
Amazing and economical breakfast. Cool, eclectic atmosphere, with a variety of seating options; front porch, inside or on the back patio. We chose inside for air conditioning. Spanish speaking (primarily) and Spanish menus, but with a super friendly, helpful, attentive wait staff it works. Breakfast for 5; bagel with cream cheese and jam, waffles with Nutella x2, waffles with maple syrup, ham and cheese panini. bottled water x3, cafe americano, and a cappuccino for under 300 Pesos (-$15 USD). Everything tasted great! the panini was amazing.

Amanda C.

Yelp
Great place great food must go anytime had a chai grape and goat cheese sandwich and lemon pie must must try

Hellen B.

Yelp
This is the cutest cafe. Paninis were delicious as were the smoothies. A great way to rest after a day shopping at Mercado 28.

Sonya V.

Yelp
Not a good customer service!! Very disappointed of the place! Waiter/host very rude. Hopefully they improve their customer service. There are some other coffee shops around. Check them out!

Ma'ayan G.

Yelp
Excellent place!! The food is great so as the service :) we took the bagels and the waffle

Reverend S.

Yelp
Staying in an Airbnb and kicking around in the hustle and bustle of Cancun in a rented car can be a little hectic for travelers as inexperienced as we are. We were far removed from the big hotels and resorts and sometimes the traffic and the speed bumps start to feel a little overpowering. Cafe Con Gracia was a wonderful and friendly little respite in the middle of it all. My wife had a marzipan frappe that was deep and satisfying and I had a mocha that was as good as any I have ever had. The chicken panini had a perfect delicate crunch and my wife loved her waffles with Nutella topping. There was a great mix of travelers and locals and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. As often seems the case with yelp, the map seems just a little bit off and the place sneaks up on you as you come around the corner. Definitely a great place to stop and kickback for a few minutes.

Riley D.

Yelp
Best breakfast spot! Definitely worth the drive, and had great flea markets to shop at in the area.

A S.

Yelp
This coffee spot is so cute and I really enjoyed the coffee and food. My husband got the waffles with strawberry and Philadelphia cheese and I got the three cheese bagel. We are planning to come back again before we leave! Highly recommend!

Admin O.

Yelp
Starbucks sorry but they have you beat in coffee. Everything is hand made and delicious. Hidden from tourist but amazing place to check out. The music they play fits the enviorment. Loved it.

Nina S.

Yelp
In need of caffeine fix in the morning, we decided to try a new cafe, so glad we did. It was such a cute cafe across mercado 28 and they had soy milk. Very reasonable prices and the cold drinks looked amazing as the table next to us got a frappe of some sort. The sandwiches looked basic but they had a great espresso machine and the coffee was oh so divine. Thank goodness we finally found some good coffee in Mexico. Value 4/5 atmosphere 4/5 service 4/5 quality 4/5 16/20

Michael O.

Yelp
Cool vibe needs to be in the hotel zone but hidden from the tourist except the ones in the know.

Ashley S.

Yelp
This cute little restaurant was the perfect way to end our time in downtown Cancun! Would have gone back a second time had we known about it earlier during our stay lots of yummy options for a light brunch, but the coffee frappes really made this place 5 star! Everything is priced so well, and they had so many flavor options (and for those who are lactose intolerant like me - lactose free milk!!!)

Tony G.

Yelp
Best coffee and lunch we've had in a very long time. My wife and I ordered salmon with cream cheese on bagel, Nutella on waffle, vanilla cappuccino and a mocha frappuccino. All I have to say is...O...M...G!!! We speak a little Spanish, but everyone here went out of their way to meet us halfway by speaking a little English with our little Spanish. We hung out here for an hour past finishing our food. Just enjoyed the environment a lot. Super friendly people...cool vibe. Loved it!!!

Raquel W.

Yelp
This place is just great. I think is good option if you have 15 extra minutes. Just for that. The menu is not the best but you could enjoy it . Not the best option if you are around but service is great

Axl-Rose A.

Yelp
This was a cute place. We went on a monday night and it was really packed. You can either be seated at their front porch, by their backyard, or inside with the AC on. I think you need a reservation to be on the AC cause we saw a few "Reserved" signs on the table. We were seated in their backyard and it was blazing hot over there. We ordered the cookie monster and mint frappes. They were watered down. We also ordered a ham & cheese panini and the waffle special with the ice cream and slices of strawberries. The panini was good but it was nothing to brag about. Their waffle special was terrible. The waffle was like rubber! My knife could not even cut through. The nutella topping on it was also watered down.

Edna E.

Yelp
Great service..The bagel with cream cheese ..Coronado is amazing! Coronado means with cajeta which is a thick carame. Cuban espresso was strong and yummy. I recommend this place but this place is a cafe so don't come.here looking for juevos rancheros. They serve bagels..Waffles...Juices and pastries. The decor is adorable...Really adorable.

Ben L.

Yelp
Great food and great service....The food quality is excellent....The latte are better than starbucks for half the price....Great service , very friendly and attention to detail....A must go for breakfast

Sebastian B.

Yelp
Let start with the fact that my wife ordered the best chai latte we've ever had. The sweetness was unique to anything we've had, you could have sworn they just picked the sugarcane . Ambience is great. You know this spot is legit because every couple minutes locals are walking in. Given how westernized Cancun is we recommend this place if your looking for something more original.

Felicia Q.

Yelp
My favourite spot when I lived in Cancun. Seriously miss this place and the beautiful backyard so much

Mohammad Z.

Yelp
Good service, nice ambiance. If you're in down town and are looking for a quick bite, a cup of coffee or a refresh this is your stop.

Toni R.

Yelp
The best sandwich (panini) in Cancun!! So delicious and amazing service. Coffee was delicious as well although I wish there was oat or almond milk. I wish I found this place earlier in my trip as I would've came here way more!!

Shan G.

Yelp
very nice amd lovely local coffee shop, code drink is perfect, fruit drink is really nice, good For picture.

Anu M.

Yelp
A whopping 5 star hands down! After reading all the good Yelp reviews, we couldn't wait to check this place out for breakfast. There is limited car parking space outside this cafe spot and the seating area itself is plenty with outdoor, indoor and patio seating area. I specifically liked the casual indoor seating area with a couple of comfy chairs and a little coffee table, so we got seated there. You order at the counter and get seated. When the food and drinks are ready, they'll bring them to your table. Here's what we ordered: - Cappuccino - Very good - Mocha - Again, very good - Chicken panini - one was sufficient for the two of us. Loved the chicken, pesto filling and the panini was perfectly cooked with the right amount of crunchiness. Friendly service. Funky ambiance. Delicious food. Definitely give this place a try when you are in Cancun.

Tim W.

Yelp
This place is just eh. That's about the best way to describe it, in my opinion. It took 15 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese and a couple waters. The only kudos I'll give it is that it's cheap. All in all, if you're across the street from Mercado 28 and need a place to sit down - this place would work.

Lina D.

Yelp
Delicious Horchata and Nutella Frappe. You can add a shot of expresso if you would like. The latte's were also delicious.

Nancy Q.

Yelp
We ordered an ice coffee and 2 espressos on ice. No where on the menu did it say that the iced coffee had milk in it. Neither my husband nor I can drink milk. We didnt drink it but did pay for it. Our waiter was really kind and attentive. Cute lil coffee shop with good music too. Definitely recommend this place is you are looking for a nice atmosphere with a cup of joe.

Marina W.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here two days in a row. The waffles are delicious! The first day, I had waffles with Nutella and my husband had the ham and manchego waffle sandwich with a cookies and cream drink. Everything was delicioso! The next day, I had the ham and manchego waffle sandwich with a latte, and my husband had waffles with strawberries, Nutella, and a mango drink. Everything was so good and hit the spot. This is a great cafe'.

Rebecca P.

Yelp
My boyfriend and i went back two days in a row it was so good. We both had the three cheese bagel, he had a latte and I tried the strawberries with cream and the arroz con leche frappe. Everything was great, including the service.

Bethany S.

Yelp
Skip Starbucks and come here for your coffee in Cancun! I think their specialty is Frappes but we drank Americanos, and they were exceptional. The food is also great. Highly recommended!

Cheryl P.

Yelp
We were on our way to the airport and needed a quick bite, this place turned out to be great and fellow yelpers did not steer me wrong. They had great coffee hot & cold. I got the espresso with milk and iced coffee and for lunch we had the three cheese bagel and paninis which were both pretty good.

B C.

Yelp
This little coffee shop is a hidden jewel. The coffee is handmade and rich with flavor. It's popular with the locals. We ordered a salmon bagel. It was layered with pesto, cream cheese, tomatoes, spinach leaves and salmon. They provided a delicious salsa to accompany the bagel. It was bomb! We also had an Expresso con Gracia and a cafe Cubano. They were both very rich and delicious. We didn't stop there. Our final order was a Frappe de Cajeta. This is their specialty and it did not disappoint! We could not leave without buying a kilo of freshly grinned coffee beans for $210 pesos or about $15 dollars. We will certainly be back when we come back to Cancun.

Philip T.

Yelp
This is the best cafe I have visited in Cancun during the week. The price is very reasonable and taste is just great. The staff are friendly and speak good English. You can tell from their face that they are passionate about their foods. Definitely try their cappuccino and chocolate cakes.
